"This was our first trip Isla Mujeres and was not sure where to stay. All though Villas Coco Paraiso is not right on the beach it is within walking distance and can see both sides of the island front the roof top view. The units were very clean and new, we were very pleased with this resort. The customer service was superior, very helpful, very nice and funny. Great people. Would recommend staying here. They do need to have more signs and directional signs to find this resort."

"Our first impression with the hotel - we arrived late at night and nobody was there to meet us, hotel gate was closed and taxi driver helped us to enter to the hotel premices. We could not find anybody and then i just started to knock the doors one by on luckily someone opened and that was a guest and she told us where we could find the hotel personnel. Finally we woke up them and got into our room. In the morning personnel just just 'we thought you have cnacelled the reservation'. We did not have any sort of introductory advise where is what we had to figure out everything ourselves. Internet was only at the breakfast area not in the room. When we tried to go to the beach we had to wait for the taxi because hotel did not have any golf car available and we were advised by the hotel personnel to rent a golf car and when we asked can we pay by credit card they said 'yes' where in reality this mission was impossible and we had to withdraw money and pay cash and of course ATM eat up about 30USD fees plus to what i had withdraw, There is no hammoc in the room. Only two people out of personnel speak English. One worked night shift so during the day he was sleeping or was not available. Lady i believe took some days off so it was difficult to communicate. I will leave it for you to judge whether you should stay there or not. I personally willnot recommend this to anyone."

"This mini resort is highly recommended! The level of service is excellent, and the rooms are wonderful. It is a bit away from the action, but there are no problems getting to beaches or to town. There are restaurants in walking distance, and the staff is always prepared to take you anywhere in the golf cart. The rooms are spotless clean, and throughout our stay they were mopped and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets.
The views on the 2nd floor rooms are definitely preferred over ground floor. We booked the romantic package which meant flower petals everywhere in the room, a bottle of wine on arrival and a romantic sunset dinner with a view over the ocean. The staff is VERY helpful and friendly. They are the best resource to book trips, golf carts, bikes, etc. They do get better prices and better service than if you would go out on your own. We booked bikes for a week and they got the service to drop the bikes and pick them up at the hotel. We also booked the transportation service offered by the Villas Coco Paraiso which turned out to be one of the best decisions ever. From the moment we landed until we were dropped back off, we never had to worry about airport transportation and back. Booking on Isla this does mean you have to book taxi-ferry-taxi, so transportation on your own can be a challenge.
One thing you have to be careful of when booking is that you should not book a return flight too close to 10am, because you will not be able to leave the island early enough due to the ferry schedule. For the hotel and its staff though; nothing but praise..."

"Villas Coco Paraiso is a beautiful hideaway on a small island. We were one of the newest visitors since new ownership and total renovation. Not everything was totally in place but the service easily made up for any minor inconviences. We loved the place. It is like a private villa safe and secluded . On an Island only 4 miles long, everything is closeby. The beach resort affiliated with Coco was within walking distance and the service there was also great. The snorkeling around the pier was fantastic. If you're looking for someplace special, we recommend Villas Coco Paraiso!!"
