"Just got back from a week long, all inclusive stay at the PA...wish we'd booked an extra week! The staff are the best, always very helpful and accomodating. Often we were late for meals arriving with 15-20 minutes to spare before they pulled the food, but they never complained. We did find the buffet breakfasts to be tasty, however dinner was hit or miss. The meals at Cafe del Mar were excellent, no complaints there! Next time we stay we will only be doing the breakfast plan, there are so many tasty and inexpensive restaurants within walking distance....never once felt unsafe walking at night."

"Great location, fabulous staff, nice grounds, good food and not overcrowded. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Isla Mujeres. The only thing I would change is their requirement that guests sign a tab when they leave a bar/restaurant/cafe, etc. If the hotel needs to track all-inclusive activity, get the room information when the guest arrives at the bar/restaurant/cafe, etc. Don't make the guest wait 10 minutes when they are ready to leave for someone to bring them a $0 balance bill to sign."

"Isla Mujeres was incredible.Overall we loved it. Privilege ALuxes was a very good hotel with a great staff. If you show them respect, they will take very good care of you (thats how it should be anyway). Don't be afraid to throw them some extra pesos.
I purchased the round trip ticket from the airport to the ferry, and to the island. i gave the vouchers to the 'Best Days' company and they got us to Isla Mujeres. I was on my own on the way back. Had to pay an additional $60 to get to the airport. "

"We just returned this AM from Privilege Aluxes, wishing we were still there and it is not because we came home to 20 below weather here in MN. Love this resort. It is small, quiet and very nicely maintained. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. This resort is on one of the most beautiful beaches that we have traveled too. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet without the party crowds and we got it. Food is about average for an all-inclusive. Ala carte foods could have had more variety and could have been warmer. Café Del Mar has great food all the time and the Oriental dining was good. This resort is very relaxing and I think that rubs over to the staff here as food and drink orders can take some time to fulfill but that was ok with us. Tips seem to speed up the service. A must is renting a golf cart and touring the island. We were greeted with smiley faces and left with hugs from the staff. We upgraded once to more of a pool/ocean view room and both rooms were very nice and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate your wishes even know they had a full house."

"This was my first trip to the Caribbean side of Mexico and completely met my expectations for an all-inclusive experience which I favor while vacationing. The occupancy at the resort was down during our stay but the quality, service, cleanliness was excellent and the food at the three restaurants was both fresh and reflected the available options of the region. By far the friendliness of the staff was the best feature and by the end of the week we had befriended many and were greeted on a first-name basis. This is not a time-share facility and I was relieved to not have that marketing element to contend with during our week there. The only questionable point was perhaps the evening music on the beach that was average at best...I wasn't there for entertainment so this did nothing to tarnish the quality of the stay.
Ceviche, chips, fresh fruit and fresh guacomole was a staple all week!
Isla Mujeres is a quaint, safe and hassle free vacatoin site suited well for those not seeking the club scene or pools full of drunk obnoxious vacationers. European and Canadian tourists favor this location, are polite, friendly and respect the culture and tranquility only Isla Mujeres can offer.
I would recommend a snorkle cruise of the reef which was teaming with fish and sealife, rent a golf cart for an afternoon to tour the island and the neighborhoods and take advantage of the small local-owned restaurants to sample the local fare.
This vacation had quality, value and the small venue I prefer when I travel. You won't be disappointed."

"This was our third visit to Privilege Aluxes on the island of Isla Mujeres and we LOVE the island! I have never rated the property but I am doing so now in hopes that the resort will bring their standards back up to what they were when we stayed in the past. Just a few areas that the management need to tweek to bring them back up to a true 4 star property. Each visit we have stayed in a different building and this trip we were in building 2 which needs some updating with the paint and cleanliness. We were on the 3rd floor and was continuously getting a musty mildew type smell...don't know if it was coming from the shower or where but had never had this problem before the past two times we have stayed there. The bathroom had some mildew and the paint needs to be redone from use I guess. Also there was a dog that barked nonstop outside our room that quickly became very annoying...don't know if the hotel can do anything about it. The only other complaint that I have is the check in process...most guests walk to the resort form the ferry ( only 4-5 blocks) and by the time you get to the lobby it would be so nice to be greeted with a drink, a refreshing wash cloth or something as very humid on the island, and a little bit of a/c in the lobby...none of which happens. There are typically only 2 people checking in so if others in front of you prepare to wait awhile is they do not get in any hurry...not a huge deal but by the time you get to the resort you are ready to relax...after all you are on vacation...I think the resort could definitely improve their check in process by adding the few things mentioned above. Now for the positives why you should stay here: The bartender at the pool bar is the BEST! He goes above and beyond excellent customer service. Wish the pool bar stayed open later than 6 pm. The beach service is the best of any resort we have ever stayed and we have travleled all over. Room service is great to have at night...they do a great job! The beach service run their little legs off accomodating guests on the beach with food and drink...you never have to move...EXCELLENTE'!!! The location of the property is great as far as access to renting a golf cart and shopping. I plan to possibly come back to Privilege next year and hope they will have improved a few minor things.

"Wow...10 What an incredible vacation/family reunion!! Every part of the trip would rate as the very highest possible. Flights were perfect and transfers company was waiting for us at the airport with the trip on the ferry all set.
Privilege Aluxes was simply incredible...the staff were amazing, so friendly and they all worked incredibly hard to make it wonderful every day. The food was also totally amazing. Every meal had great variety and was so very tasty. The 3 places to eat were all we could have wanted. The beach was so beautiful (even there the waitstaff went above and beyond the norm in making it a delight) and the 3 pools were clean and beautiful...enjoyed by the whole family...along with the swim up bar.
Our suite was also wonderful (highly recommended over a regular room which two of our group had). The precious lady that cleaned our room each day left beautiful towel birds and animals for us each day.
We did a snorkeling trip to the underwater sculptures that was incredible...also to a reef with such clear water and beautiful fish. Also, we recommend renting a golf cart to explore the island...so much to see and experience.
Tips: Instead of leaving a large tip at the end or our trip, we decided on tipping our maid and our waitstaff each day/meal...even though tips are included. Just a dollar or two worked out really well. We will do this on any future trips.
We left with a desire to return soon...there is still so much to explore."

"The hotel was nice, a little on the smaller side. The pictures make it more luxurious and larger then it is in real life. Food was okay, drinks were okay as well. Stay away from Satay, the food was awful. There was only one bartender working the WHOLE pool area, at times you would wait 25 minutes to get a drink, or you wouldn't get your drink at all. The place shuts down at 11. You could order drinks and food from room service, but that will take ya about an hour so plan accordingly.
I was convinced our bed had bed bugs and nothing was done to correct the situation. My call to the front desk was received with annoyance. We also had a large amount of black mold in our room.
Though when the light outside our door was out and it was pitch black, they changed the buld within a few hours.
I would not come back."

"We love the island of Mujeres...We went to Privilege Aluxes last year in September and loved it so much decided to go back this year and take the family. Had a wonderful flight over...and transfers went smoother this year than last. Last year no one told us that once you take the ferry over to the island you are on your own as far as getting to your hotel. There are plenty of taxis on the island but we just assumed since we had purchased the transfers that this would take us to our hotel...not so and that has not changed...not a huge deal if you know as you can walk or get a taxi...we arrived at our hotel 'Privilege Aluxes' which is where we stayed last year and were so impressed that we decided to go back there. Don't expect a big greeting when you walk in to the lobby to check in as this hotel just doesn't do that. Checking in takes a little while but it does anywhere you go. We had booked a Superior Deluxe Room same type room we booked last year. This year we got a totally different room from last year. We were very disappointed in the size room we had this year compared to last year. Don't get me wrong the room was still nice, just small. The hotel offered to move us to a larger room but of course it was an additional charge so we stayed were we were. There are only 3 restaurants at the hotel and 3 bars. The pool bar is awesome but only stays open until 6:00 pm ...Miguel and Ponce are the best bartenders and have wonderful personalities...they are very accomodating and fun to talk to and learn about the island. The restaurant Satay is reservation only and primarily seafood and sushi, etc..The beach restaurant and bar is great and they have live music each evening (except for Sunday) for about an hour...only negative to this restaurant is the menu is limited so you only want to eat there 3 -4 nights out of the week. The main restaurant has a breakfast buffet each day which is good and typicall of all all-inclusive resorts...its hard to mess breakfast up. Lunch in the main restaurant is ordered from the menu and is a nice change on hot days as it is air conditioned. Lunch on the beach is great though so you don't have to leave your chair or get cleaned up. There is also a little grill set up each day near the pool bar which is great...typicall burgers, chicken, etc...If you get tired of the resort food you can walk several blocks to Hildago Avenue which is restaurant row and food is wonderful there and reasonably priced especially if you go when they have the two for one specials...highly recommend Rolandis Pizza. Room service at the resort is a nice plus but they are a little slow and usually don't get your order right but what they bring you is still good.:) The beds in the hotel are extremely hard and to some this is great for them but I like a little softness to my bed so that is a personal thing. On the beach set up right next to the resort is Marisol and Rosa who do the best massages anywhere. They are dressed all in white have white umbrellas and white tables...you can't miss them...they do a great massage, exfoliation and even a facial...very resaonably priced...1 hour massage for $35.00...you just can't beat that and they do a fantastic job...so good I had two massages this trip.:) All in all I would return to Privilege Aluxes just would want to make sure I had the room category I was expecting so as not to have that disappointment. I don't know if I would do the all -inclusive again as there are so many great places to eat on the island and the food at the resort gets a little boring since you are limited to 3 restaurants. Hope this helps and if you go enjoy yourself."

"After walking around for an hour and stumbling upon the place we past 3 bellhops of which not one offered to help us. 'Great first impression'
After checking in (and its now after 11pm and our first flight was at 7am - the front desk clerk was extremely unfriendly and acted like she didn't want anything to do with us. However; upon entering our room we were very disappointed with the location and the size, so we went back to the front desk to ask to be moved and they refused. Our request from you was a Superior Deluxe, on the 4th floor or higher not facing the Cemetary or School with an ocean view. They put us in a Deluxe facing the Cemetary on the Second floor, over top the delivery & trash area (not happening). Another hour of debating the issue we settled by staying in that room for two days until they attemped to move us to the 4th floor to accomadate our original request. BUT that was not the case. Now they have us in a smaller room facing the School. Eventually they moved us back to the same 2nd floor across the hall from where we origianally were ( don't ask why ) and the room was horrific. Dirty, disgusting, moldie, and very cold feeling. After confronting them again, they were not willing to work with us at all. We later found out they were not sold out and they did in fact move several other couples who had requested a change.
If that wasn't enough to handle, my wife twisted her ankle on the third nite there because a crossway from their Beach Resturant Bar area was not lit properly, it was dark and very hard to see, but after notifing the front desk about her injury, we heard nothing the whole trip. We have contacted them about this and have not heard from them to date. "

"We loved our stay at Privilege Aluxes, on Isla Mujeres. The Staff was excellent, and made the experience wonderful, and very personal. We were with an 11 year old, and a 2 year old, and the staff was great with them. This resort is large enough to provide all the amenities, yet small enough to feel personal. We had a few room issues, which the staff was quick to respond to and resolve. My largest complaint is that the wifi is very poor, except in the lobby. The hotel was at capacity when we were there, yet we seldom felt it was crowded. We were concerned about the quality of the food, being an all inclusive, but were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was. All of the managers were a pleasure to work with. The wait staff were also great. We will definitely return again."

"Not our first time staying with Privilege Aluxes. I was a bit disappointed that I had asked 6-weeks prior to our arrival for some recommendations of any New and Fun places to venture to and didn't receive a response - weird. The 2-man band in the evening was FABULOUS! make a point to bend and ear =) The Staff in any of the eating areas are WONDERFUL! Sushi Night was SUPERB! Daily cleaning was a little poor this stay, but our fridge was always stocked and we had atleast 1-clean towel daily to shower."

"The cleanliness of the resort was excellent, the Wait Staff at the beach and restaurants were excellent, however my experience with the staff at the front desk was poor. I believe there is a huge training issue here. I booked an activity, Subsee Explorer and no one at the desk knew anything about it. I believe I am correct in making a reasonable assumption that the Staff could give me information seeing I did have the travel voucher. I told the gentleman at the desk the activity provider was Best Day Tours and he replied they don't come to the hotel. WHAT!! He call someone and gave me the phone and told me this person speaks English. I was told 'call back a.m.' I told the person on the phone this is a.m. seeing we just finished breakfast. I just gave up and was out the money and never did find anything out about Subsee Explorer.
My daughter asked the Front desk for change for $20. American and the answer was no.
I asked if we could check out at two because out flight didn't leave till almost 6:00 and the answer was no.
Will I ever recommend or go back there NO."

"First class!nPrivelege Aluxes is a fine place to spent a holiday. The staff were friendly, helpful, nand readily available. We wanted the shower stall floor to be fixed but it never happened. The food was good, not great. The menu, which never changed is best for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. But, dinners were superb in the town restaurants.nThe hotel is very comfortable, clean, and easy to relax at. The beach is unmatched. The water and sand- incomparable.nThe pools for the first few days were too cold to spend any time in. After 3 days, and I suppose because of enough complaining, suddenly they were comfortatbly warm.nAll in all the Privelege Aluxes is a great place to stay and we would recommend it nto anyone. We will return. "

"My new husband and I just returned from Privilege Aluxes after a 7 day/6 night stay for our honeymoon. It was a fantastic experience. The resort is lovely, the room was clean and well kept, the pools were fantastic, and the beach access and lounge chairs were the best on the beaches of Isla. It was nice and slow paced, not a single worry. The staff was friendly and helpful. nnWe stayed in a Superior Deluxe room and chose the all-inclusive package. This room is actually the most basic room. We faced the cemetery which was very quiet and private. Our room was 214 which was the second floor of building 2. The bed was very firm but we didn't have any issues sleeping. Our shower nozzle was broken when we arrived and the hotel staff sent someone up immediately and had it fixed. The balcony had a jacuzzi tub that we only used once because it was so warm at night. nnOur first night, we made reservations at Satay, the Thai/Sushi restaurant at the resort. It was not good. We tried the Miso Soup - which was tangy instead of salty and had large mushrooms in it. Then we ordered a sushi platter. Some of the sashimi did not taste fresh and none of the rolls were good. They all had a tangy sweetness to them. Even the soy sauce was not right, it was light brown and sweet as well. After that, we stuck to Sabor (the buffet) and the grill by the beach. All of our meals at Sabor and the beach were outstanding, authentic mexican. We felt we definitely got our money's worth for the food. The drinks aren't bad, they can do the typical tropical blended drinks, some mixed drinks, beer, and house wine all included in the all-inclusive. nnWe chose not to book any excursions through the hotel and instead went with a man we met on the street named Lorenzo Sosa. He took us on a private boat trip around the island, provided snorkeling gear and helped us find fish and even a few sea turtles. It was amazing!! nnWe found golf cart rentals down the street for $32 for 9-5pm. It made for a fun day trip around the island. We also drove to the turtle aquarium and saw the dolphin discovery at the other end of the island. nnWe opted for a couples massage through the hotel that was absolutely heavenly. It was 50 minutes and totally worth the splurge!nnUpon check-in, the hotel staff said they would bring a surprise to our room because it was our honeymoon. This never happened, but we didn't really expect them to anyways. We were unable to switch our room to an ocean view room upon request. After reading other reviews it seemed that people were able to do this without a problem. Oh well. Transportation to the hotel could have been tricky, but I found Best Day Transports online and they picked us up at the airport, brought us to the Juarez Ferry terminal, and took us back to the airport without a problem. We pre-booked online and they were on-time and I would highly recommend them. The ferry to Isla is about 15 minutes, runs every 1/2 hour and is only about 6 blocks from the hotel. We walked our bags down without a problem.nnIsla Mujeres was a fantastic honeymoon destination. Walking around town was always fun and interesting. We always felt safe and were able to leave the resort whenever we wanted. If you don't want to leave, you don't have to because they have everything there you need. Definitely opt for the all-inclusive option and maybe upgrade to a suite for some extra room and a view. We plan on coming back again for an anniversary!n"

"This was our third vacation on Isla Mujeres. While the hotel is quite new, and looks good, a few things about it made us not want to return. We were always waiting for the food to have some taste, but it just never happened. The restaurants on the island are excellent, but the food was bland and that got very tiresome. The hotel's beach was the waterfront where all the boats, passenger ferrys and car ferrys pass by and where the water has a constant strong current, unlike the beautiful Playa Norte that is the desirable beach on Isla Mujeres. Our room view was the graveyard. We were very disappointed in our the choice of this hotel, and would not consider staying there again."

"Can't wait to get back to Isla Mujeres. This stay was well worth what we paid. The staff was excellent as were the accomodations. We had a small room but that was OK because we were very rarely in there. The beach is amazing and the people friendly. Food was pretty good but for the real experience I would highly recommend some of the restaurants on Hidalgo St as well. It was the perfect mix of all inclusive and eating off the resort. Highly recommend."

"We just returned our trip and we had an awesome week!! 1st time stayin on the island. There is no comparison between the 2 resorts! The staff and accomodations are all excellent. The food at Satay's & at Cafe Del Mar is outstanding!! The buffet is great in the mornings, but, some evenings was a little lacking. They would have a live band on the beach every evening from 7:30 - 9:30. Some of the bands could've been better. I wish the resort had a few activities during the day & they need an extra waiter on the beach service during the day. This is the first resort of many that we have been to that you could not go to the bar for a drink. They wanted to wait on you! That was really nice, but, somedays the poor servers were swamped & service was slow. Other than that, we will return in a heart beat!!"

"We spent 9 days in a platinum suite from friday to saturday. The room was amazing and very clean and so was the roof top pool until Wednesday when it was obviously broken because it was filthy by that time and no one ever came to clean it. We called Wednesday, Thursday and friday, finally some one came on Friday evening and somewhat cleaned the pool, but didn't fix the problem. We had to check out at noon on Saturday and at 10am someone came to fix it and clean it again. By the time they were done we only had less than an hour to enjoy it before we left after not being able to use it for 3 days. It was very disappointing after all the $ spent to have a roof top pool to not be able to use it because of the amount of bugs and grime in it. The resort it's self was very beautiful and we had an amazing view. It's very quiet which is what we were looking for. The food wasn't much to brag about and there isn't much of a selection either. The staff on the other had were amazing and made our stay that much better. We had a honeymoon package which included a couples massage and a private dinner on the beach. It was so romantic and a perfect setting. We rented a golf cart and toured the island ( highly recommended). It's a beautiful island and we enjoyed our honeymoon very much (except for the pool problem). Lol! Oh and the bed wasn't that comfortable. But if you like sleeping on a hard bed then it's ok. We like a softer bed."

"We had a blast on our vacation! If you are looking to relax this is the place to visit. Not many activities but that was EXACTLY what we were looking for. The employees were the best! The only recommendation - Do not book an early flight home. The first ferry does not begin until 5:30am from the Island. We were scheduled to leave at 7am and we had to book a hotel in Cancun the night before to make sure we could get to the airport for our flight."

"Went saturday to saturday-This is was wonderful trip, everyone was friendly the Island was beautiful and the resort was to die for! Even though it says gratutity is included in the all inclusive don't be fooled because they would still like to be tipped. One thing I wished for was to be able to sleep in past 7am, since it is a vaca and all...but I was in room 444 and the school is right across the street and the teacher uses a megaphone for an entire hour!! I asked to get another room but they said they were booked up :{ I made the best of it and was the first one at the pool everyday...lol The food selection became a bore as it was the same thing everyday. We ventured out and went to other places to dine, the island has a lot to offer. You can snorkel (bring your own gear) and zip line 1 time for an additional 60 USD a person. You will want to rent a golf cart for the entire stay ($360) per week so you can see the entire island and get around. I will go back but now that I know about the layout I would request to be anywhere but the 400's...lol Any questions please ask!"

"I read some of the reviews of the hotel and wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I stayed 7 nights and 8 glorious days at the resort. The food was better than reviews stated. It was complained that the wait time for service was slow, but people have to realize it IS Mexico and it IS time to relax. We were pleasantly surprised and the service was excellent. We had great servers and staff. Friendly, pleasant and quick to make you happy. My husband and I are planning to go back next year with our daughters. This hotel is well worth going to again and again and again."

"My husband and I recently got back from a week on Isla Mujeres and loved the island. It's quaint and easy to get around, very vibrant with plenty of restaurants and shopping. We stayed at Privilege Aluxes on the all inclusive plan. The hotel itself is beautiful and the property is well maintained. The staff on the beach and in the various restaurants are really friendly and the location of the hotel is great. The only downside we had was with our room. We booked a Suite Deluxe, which was very nice and clean, it was what was not in the room that was the problem. When we got into our room there were only 3 coat hangers in the entire room which had 2 large full size closets, we requested more and they were very quickly delivered. The bigger issue was with the standard amenities that were missing: a hair dryer, CD/DVD player, iPod docking station, an alarm clock and a bottle opener to open the bottled beer in the mini bar. These amenities were all included in our room description on the hotel website. To the hotel's credit, all but the bottle opener eventually made it to the room but when you pay for a room with specific amenities you expect these elements to be in the room. If you stay at Privileges, and there are many reasons to do so, my advice is to book a standard room or the next level up at most, and not to do the all inclusive plan. With all the restaurants in town being so close there is no real need to do it."

"It had been our first time in Mexico, so we didn't know what to expect from the Hotel and we didn't know how All - Inclusive work. The hotel is perfect - quite, clean, the stuff is friendly, the food is delicious. We didn't pay for any food or alcohol. Our first vacation in Mexico left the best memories! Thanks to Privilege Hotel Team. We wish to come back very soon. I would recommend this place for couples and families!"

"This was our second visit to Privilege Aluxes Isla Mujeres. As before, the service really shone. The food is great, most of the bartenders are skilled (call drinks are included in the 'all-inclusive' option - just stick to their liquor list), and the place itself is beautiful. Both the food (especially at Restaurant Sabor and Cafe del Mar) and the food and beverage service were stellar (yes even the buffet is legitimately good). The progressive international clientele was also appreciated - most of the other guests we met were a pleasure and respectful of each other. And somehow Privilege Aluxes manages to be both a great place for couples or families with young children. I hope that vibe lasts."

"Internet friends, trust me, you cannot go wrong! I have been to Cuba, Dominica, Jamaica at least a dozen times and found this to be my haven away from home!!! Very different in the sense that you can actually be on your own, rent a golf cart and tour tour tour the island ever so safely and freely!!!! (rent for 24 hours with front desk) rent it around 1:00 so you can appreciate and let in the night life and nezxt sunrise at Punta Sur! The hotel is not a hotel but a condo complex with all its luxuries (coming from Cuba and Dominican - although I ADORE both and WILL be back) ask for a suite if you can....well worth it-although we were in room 624 for the first week and were thrilled!!! I cannot put enough emphasis on the hospitality of ....not enough room to name all our amigos! staff. if you do stay here, the beach is fabulous! Do take the time to walk towards the right..the prettiest beaches and serene waters in the world! Keep walking and you will find a paved pathway seaside walkway on the east coast which is picturesque, windy, gorgeous and breathtaking! (water shoes to walk on the rockier beaches required) We will be back for sure,.....love the island, city (quaint Mexicain town of restos, bars, vendors all smiles and outdoors if you like! (mini mexicain St Laurent street in Montreal)....what can i say...write if you require more details....:) bon voyage!!!

"This was our 5th stay on Isla Mujeres and our first at the Aluxes. Traveling with a family of 5 (3 grown children) can be tricky. Privilege Aluxes met and exceeded all of our expectations. The suites were clean and the most outstanding thing was the staff. Everyone could not have been more accommodating. We ate at each of the three restaurants and enjoyed them all. There is no better location than than this on Isla! We choose to keep the windows open and were awakened by a rooster! Not something maybe city folks would appreciate but we loved it! Each of our stays on Isla Mujeres have been different but all have been wonderful. That's why we continue to return. We are glad that not everyone appreciates the layback lifestyle on the Island and so they always have the option of Cancun. We love Isla and love Privilege Aluxes. Thank you for making this trip so wonderful!"

"To the point: BookIt.com lived up to our expectations once again, although we had a little disapointment when we had to leave the island early (at hotel manager's recommendation due to Hurricane Rina) and needed help to re-book our flight; one of the BookIt reps (on live chat) kept pushing us back to contact the airline directly; it wasn't until we were quite irritated that she finally agreed to get involved, we had a 3 way conversation with the airline and everything worked out fine.
THE ISLAND: an absolute paradise, can't get any better than that, we will certainly go back.
PRIVILEGE ALUXES: ROOMS: fantastic; SERVICE: great, some of the front desk guys can put on a friendlier face though, the gals were very friendly, smiling all the time and very professional; FOOD: borderline to poor, and this comes from a couple who eat pretty much everything and rarely complain; I guess we were spoiled last year at H10, the food at Privilege doesn't come anywhere close to the food quality and selection at H10; overall facility appearance and appeal: good; Cafe del Mar is great and makes up somewhat for the shortcomings. We had to cut our stay short due to Rina, the hotel and BookIt issued refunds, no problems here. I must add: the hotel staff seemed to be very well prepared for emergencies; the hotel director is a great, great gentleman."

"We had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is wonderful. Our room was excellent although we did have a rooster crowing at 6 am every morning. The beach was beautiful and the service on the beach was great.
The only disappointment was the food in the hotel. The buffet was small with not a lot of selection and was the same everyday especially for breakfast which led us not to eat there at lunch or dinner. We did not try the Thai restaurant. Overall, we would go back."
