We are Palace members who have never stayed at Isla Palace. Because it is so small, we decided to try it out for only three days. We had a wonderful time! Like all other Palaces, the staff is top-notch. They are friendly, helpful and go beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful. We were met at the dock and taken directly to the hotel. Greeted at the door and taken to our beautiful rooms. Alejandro (bellman) and Roxanne (vacation desk) were always available to answer our questions. Food ... Read more

This was the first time my wife and I visited the Isla Mujeres Palace and we came looking for a quiet retreat. What we found was a boutique establishment that's service that was amazing simply because of the great people that work there. The dining room staff of Omar, Maryan, Shara, Josue, Pedro, Hector, Cristian, Edwin, Rosy, and J.Carlos were amazing. I will start out saying I would go back to this resort in a few years it's not one I would go to yearly like some Ive stayed at. Over all service was good, evening menu got to be boring after the forth day, not enough variety basically same food done up a different way. I'm not a buffet person but I kept hoping we would have a buffet, finally had one on the last night we stayed and that was disappointing. Rooms quiet and clean. We seek out such properties as we wish to avoid families (children) and enjoy the "quiet time." This resort (4+ stars) fit the bill with only 62 rooms. The island itself was quite small and without much to do, save for tourist sorts of things. We originally thought we would need a golf cart to get around, but quickly realized that a taxi would do nicely for our infrequent excursions. I had requested a golf cart from Indios Carts several weeks before our arrival (plus a follow-up). Fortunate... Read more

We were staying at the Sun Palace in Cancun, went to Isla Mujeres for the day. We spent the afternoon at the Palace and it was wonderful. Very quiet small hotel with only one main restaurant. We had lunch here (buffet)and the food was delicious, freshly cooked. Victor looked after us and he was excellent, carried our plates over, got desserts for us, exceptionally attentive. We really enjoyed our time here, personally it would be too small for me for longer than 2/3 days, but wonderful.

We stayed at the Palace to view the Whale Sharks June 14-24th. We booked thru the resort. We were treated like VIP's. A representative greeted us at the Airport & transported us to the marina, where the Catamaran was waiting for us. Very nice. One thing about the Catamaran. It is slow. This was the perfect hotel for a short, romantic getaway. The hotel has such an intimate, peaceful atmosphere and the staff is among the friendliest I have ever encountered. The island itself is extremely charming and stunningly beautiful. The food was great and the premises were pristine. A really fantastic experience and we have already recommended it to all friends and family.

We took a day trip over from our stay at Sun Palace in Cancun on a Sunday (7/3/16). We were impressed by the lovely gardens, greenery, palm trees and many inviting places in the shade to sit. The main dining room was pretty, both inside and out. Views are maximized. There were not many people on the property. I have no idea if their occupancy was full or not, and there were just a few other day trippers visiting. The property had a nice tranquility about it. We arrived around 1pm I think.... Read more

The resort only has one restaurant (and a pool side snack bar) but the food was great. Only lunch is a buffet. Breakfast has a continental buffet and a menu to order from. Dinner only has a menu. You can have a taxi from the hotel to go everywhere. Downtown is 20 min away from the resort. The people who works here are very attentive and helpful. The way to get in the island it's by a ferry from cancun city it's about 30 min away. Islas mujeres it's an amazing place, worth the money haha You will find with sand and warm water!

This resort is smaller and does not allow children, so there is always a chair at the beach, a server available to bring you a drink, a stool on the bar, etc. You're not fighting hordes of people to save chairs, etc. Which is so nice. Members for close to 20 years. We have found the ideal spot that suits our needs. After our stay in October, we decided to return in January. We would like to congratulate the resort general manager for running a first class operation. We have always found the staff at palace resorts to be so amazing but at Isla Mujeres even more so. Special mention goes to Uriel who put together a special dinner for us, Juan, Jorge, Alexandro, Martha, Antonio, Ismail, Christian, Rosa, Sharanye and Pedro. ... Read more

We just returned from a memorable wonderful stay at the Isla Palace Nov. 2 - 9th, 2016. We have been members of Palace Resorts since 1995 and have stayed at the LeBlanc, Sun Palace, Moon Palace, Playacar Palace, Cozumel Palace. As well as the Cancun Palace, Adventura Spa and Vallarta Palaces before they became Hard Rock. Some, numerous times. This was our second stay at Isla. The remodeling at the resort is very nicely done. The restaurant now totally enclosed is indeed an improvement. There ... Read more

Returned last night after staying a week. Very pretty, great swimming pool layout with swim up bar & walk around cabana to the rear. Super rooms, extremely comfortable beds & pillows. All inclusive & a small 62 room resort so dining is not as varied as many but have specials 5 night per week. Do not expect highly spiced Tex-Mex, this is real Mexico & the food in Mexico is more bland but well prepared. Ask for always available salsa if you like spicier. Fortunately the bartenders seldom mix stron... Read more

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon last night at the palace on Isla Mujeres and we can't say enough amazing things about it. Everyone there treated us like family and dis everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Our first night here, we met Alejandro behind the bar. We had fun watching him make new drinks and trying all kinds of stuff. He is the best bartender and definitely willing To try new recipes! All we had to do was ask and he made it happen. Christ... We returned for our sixth stay at Isla Mujeres Palace Resorts for a 10 day visit. We love this resort more each time we come! It is an awesome feeling coming into a place where the staff welcomes you back like you're family. We were met at the taxi because our flight came in too late to transfer us by private boat. Everybody on the staff is so friendly and eager to please the guests. Even though we are Diamond members of Palace resorts, the treatment we got was not really any different than wh... Read more

We were picked up at the airport in a private car, driven to a marina in Cancun and then put on a private boat for a 15 minute ride to Isla Mujeres Palace Resort‚??s private dock. There were two staff members waiting on the dock with cold drinks, cold towels and a flower for me! When I saw this I knew it was going to be a great week. What a welcome! If not a member, then I believe the transportation from the airport to the marina is on your own, via taxi. Check-in was very quick and easy and w... Read more

Our Isla Mujerus Palace experience began with transportation via private catamaran from Cancun to the resort's dock. There we were greeted by an attentive staff and ushered to a room with a beautiful view of the Sea. Rooms and the entire property were immaculate, comfortable and made special by an attentive, friendly but professional staff. The chef was outstanding and provided ample variety for a single restaurant. The property management were first class, but the staff from bellmen, front desk... Read more

When we went to choose a honeymoon destination, we wanted to pick the most relaxing place we could find, and Isla Mujeres looked like it would fit the bill. I am happy to say that we were correct in that choice. The property is in a great location on the small island and is only about a 10min boat trip from mainland Cancun. The resort faces to the West, offering stunning sunset views and a vista of the mainland. The beach was clean with plenty of seating. The rooms were nicely furnished, an... Read more

Do you believe in magic? If so, Isla Mujeres Palace is the place for you! The staff should wear space pants, cuz they are out of this world! The 3-headed beast of a service staff composing of gentlemen named "Hector", "Alejandro" and "Julian" will leave you in utter amazement at the attention to every detail to make your stay more enjoyable! Alejandro makes the best Negroni in the land. Seriously, these guys are absolutely amazing. The resort is peaceful and relaxing. The food is off da c... Read more

My husband I visited the resort from Nov. 18th thru Nov. 25th, 2016. We arrived on Friday and the transportation to the boat was provided as planned, but when we waited for a little bit to load the boat, when we were informed that the boat would not be able to take us. We were told that we would need to take a taxi to another marina and get on the main ferry to isla mujeres. We were informed that we would be reimbursed for the (2) taxi rides (one to the ferry and another to the resort once on ... Read more

This is a very high quality resort and in a beautiful location, but what really made the vacation memorable were the people working there.
