Excellent views, swimming, amenities, rooms, food and great staff. We stayed in the Club Suites and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I would definitely stay here again. There are a lot of hills and walking, but if that isn't your pace, they have an excellent transportation set up with carts that will take you anywhere you want to go on the resort. The staff were very helpful and always had a smile. Wonderful place to go.

We went to get A break from winter, we arrived to the lobby where they served cold nonalcoholic beverage. We took a little golf cart to our room. The resort is quite big however is very easy to get around. The buffet they have for everyone is delicious with different the night. We were there for seven days so we had coupons for four of the seven different restaurant. The restaurants are OK however we prefer the Buffet as my husband has a dairy allergy and he's very sensitive to any in his food. ... Read more

I travelled with my sister in law (girls trip!) but I would say this resort is perfect for couples and families also. It was quiet and relaxing!! not a party place at all. Beaches Calling all beach bums! The beaches are the reason you want to go here! Not one, not two, but three very different, equally fabulous beaches! 1. The reef beach: there is a coral reef just out from the first beach near the Mexican restaurant and it is quite protected the way it is tucked in behind the rock format... Read more

I spent two weeks here in February 2015. It was exceptional in everyday. It is very hilly and there is a lot of walking but shuttles are frequent and very good. The food was great. Remember it is located in jungle so there are critters sometimes. The bugs were not nearly as bad as I had heard and I've experienced much worse. The rooms were lore than adequate and the views are spectacular. The beach is phenomenal. I never spent my time at the pools so I can't comment on them. Service was great al... Read more

We chose a day at this beach resort hotel. The area is very picturesque with a range of small pretty bays with soft sandy beaches, warm safe seas which were good for swimming.Well tended seating with sunshades.Lunch was included at a well stocked Buffet with lots of choice including Mexican specialities in pretty gardens overlooking the beach. We did not see any accommodation but the terraced rooms looked large and specious all the public areas we used were great and would stay here in the future w... Las Brisas Huatulco has a great location right on the beach and has a great staff. There are a multitude of pools and beaches to setup camp for the day. They have a system of transporting people around the property on service carts that is very helpful since the property is very spread out and the weather gets pretty sweltering and humid. There were a handful of restaurants that were serviceable but my Mexican girlfriend thought that their authenticity had room for improvement. I thought they ... Read more

With all the stairs and large area at Las Brisas, a person should be prepare to walk some but there is always a cart to take you up and down the hills to your rooms. We've been there several time and like it because the staff is friendly and we feel safe. The only thing I would caution visitors with would be the food. It is not always the best as far is choice of places to enjoy your evening dinner.

We spent 7 days at Las Brisas Jan. 4-11, 2016. This resort is built into a hillside so every room has an ocean view. We asked for a room with a balcony and they tried to upsell us to a premium room, which we went and looked at, but the room did not look great, definitely not worth the $600 extra dollars they wanted to charge. We did end up getting a balcony but had to compromise with 2 double beds instead of king. This resort has people shuttling back n forth in big open trolleys that hold about... Read more

Huatulco it‚??s magical, since that moment your plane lands, the beautiful scence floating in the air makes you realice you are no more in earth, it‚??s heaven ladies and gentlement. I don‚??t use to believe much in god but when i‚??m here i can bet my life that only he could delineate the coast, create the smell in the air and make beat wave after wave. It‚??s pure Magic. Things can get much better if staying in Las Brisas, it‚??s not the cheapest option but if you can afford it, well you‚??re... Read more

We had the first glimpse of the hotel from the plane and this was when we knew we would love it. Breathtaking views! We didn't mind all the stairs, we actually never used their shuttle service - extra exercise can't do any harm. The beaches! you have a choice out of three available (the fourth one is not for swimming). Our favourite beach was the one furthest from all the rooms and amenities. It always had loungers available. The room was clean and spacious. The fridge wasn't stocked twice, we... Read more

This resort offers seclusion, peace and quiet and lush tropical greenery amid the top of an ocean cliff. Some amazing vies of the Telemanca Mountains and ocean, as well as Tengolunda Bay. Food was amazing as well as the staff. We have recommended this resort to numerous of our friends and have in fact visited twice ourselves. We would go back again.

This is true paradise!, the hotel is in the middle of the jungle with beautiful beaches, the water is not cold, it's warm and ready to be enjoyed, it has some spots where you can do some snorkeling if you are in to that (no snorkeling equipment available on premises, so take yours). The Hotel staff is always friendly and eager to help. There is an adults only pool available for you to enjoy. The hotel is a large property, you have to take a mini transportation to get you from your room to the restaurants or the beach wich is noisy and very uncomfortable. The restaurants are full of children every hour you wish to go, even if you made reservations to one of their "specialty" restaurants, very disappointed because they said that no children were allowed. Overall a NOT good experience for couples.

Great hotel, on plenty of acres, so you can get away from the crowds. First time I have ever seen a hotel with enough chairs. 3 beaches, so crowds are spread out. Loved the iquanas on the rocks, they do like to make a show of it. It takes a bit to get the layout of the land, we were quite lost on the first evening there (got there in the dark). They have carts to drive you anywhere at all times, but honestly, the scenery is lovely and why would one ride if they can walk off a few pounds. B... Read more

I expent 5 lovely days with my family with 1 child and 1 teenager. I booked it via Interjet including flight and transportation to and from hotel. My teenager loved the gym, swimming pools, entertainment and the 4 wonderful beaches. The rest of the family loved everything. The beaches are well looked after and clean. They are also safe as you don't find outsiders selling all sorts and pick pocketing. You don't have to pay for beach chairs or umbrellas. Kids and non swimmers can enjoy the l... Read more

The resort is like a gated community with its own transport. Like all resorts it is a secure but highly artificial environment but Las Brisas is older and aesthetically pleasing. Like a city it has various beaches, restaurants and other facilities (including conference hall) available. The gardens are established including a botanical garden. The resort tries to promote ECO and organic but far too much plastic is used. Good thing is that the aircon is not icy cold. Staff is very friendly and swi... Read more

I visited as part of a group of 600 people. We took up a large chunk of the lodging, with all-inclusive food plan. I was blown away by the level of friendly service and the large, modern, comfy rooms. The quality of the shower (Fantastic) mattered to me as the temps were in the high nineties. The layout is sprawling up a hillside so every room had a view, which didnt matter to me as the only reason I went to my room was to lie down in the sublime air conditioning, or to sleep. I travelled to this resort in March of 2014. I am writing this review 2 1/2 years later so details aren't totally clear in my head. I had a good experience overall . At the time, I was 38 years old, travelling alone and just looking to relax. It was a huge resort, not easily accessible unless you rode in the golf cart trolley that was available 24/7. All you had to do was pick up the phone and they would be there to pick you up in 2 mins or less (from what I found). The staff that drove t... Read more

We stayed at this resort over Christmas break. The size of this resort is something to be aware of. You are either going to be doing a lot of walking or spending time waiting for golf carts to transport you from place to place. It wasn't a big deal to us, but I couldn't imagine going with children. The nice thing about the resort being so large was that it always seemed quiet. We spent a lot of time in the pool and were disappointed that there were no swim up bars and that you couldn't have... Really unique setting--Rooms are 200 or so feet above and around the main lobby. Luckily, the shuttle service is great--no more than a 5 minute wait. There are 3 beaches--all very safe--the most quiet is the far one by the water sport stuff. Staff are all VERY good!! Rooms clean--very nice beds. Food--all very good, but the entrees in some of the a la cartes could use some help. Try the Mexican restaurant for breakfast--a great setting on the beach--when it is open. We were a year ago and although the beach is awesome the resort is quite dated and food was subpar and we all had stomach issues. We went with two young children and the price is good for traveling families. We found this would be good for other families who can't afford the upper 5 star resorts in the area.
