This is a historic mansion that has been converted to a small hotel. The courtyard is beautiful. The breakfasts are great and on the same street there are several great bars and restaurants. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful at night. They also set us up with a tour to Tequila and Tlaquepaque which was great. I would highly recommend Villa Ganz and hope I am able to go back.

This was a delightful place to spend the night, in the heart of the fun restaurant district of Guadalajara. We stayed in room #18 and felt privileged to wake up in the morning to the view of the vaulted brick ceiling overhead, a stunning work of art. Other architectural and design details were much appreciated, as was the charming courtyard garden and the kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

This hotel is in a fantastic location...walking distance to numerous restaurants in a lovely part of Guadalajara. This is the second time we have stayed here (this time for 2 nights) and it was a very relaxing stay. The garden is a great place to relax and have a drink in the evening, or have breakfast in the morning. The staff is very attentive and dedicated to making it a wonderful stay. Could go on and on. Stay here!

Large corridors with grand arches lead you to the serene courtyard where you can eat breakfast or just relax. Unfortunately while we were there, a very large building next door was under construction, so there was a considerable amount of noise. Aside from that, the room we stayed in was ve... Read more
