Spent two night with Alejandro and Lorena last week (last minute reservation when our plans changed) and we are already planning our return. Room was large, clean, great shower and had a terrace so we could enjoy the beautiful courtyard and hummingbird activity. Our hosts could not have been more helpful - secure parking for our car, brought us ice so we could enjoy a cocktail on our terrace, breakfasts were wonderful. The courtyard and entire property are beautiful, filled with wonderful art... Read more

This is my first visit to Guadalajara and I saw that Tlaquepaque would be a good place to explore. Using Trip Advisor I chose Casa Tlaquepaque. I'm so glad I did! The owners are lovely. their son, Ricardo was so helpful, the courtyard is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was very nice and clean. Our room had a wonderful balcony and we were allowed to have a folding bed on it, which was a wonderful place for one of us to sleep. It's a few short blocks to the historic downto... Read more

This is definitely one of my favorite hotels! I felt like part of their family for the two days I was there. I can not think of one thing they could have done to make my visit better. The family was so kind. The breakfast was made exactly how I like it. The room was clean. The art around the hotel made me feel like I was in an art gallery. I hope I can come here again.

Our recent stay at Casa Tlaquepaque was a memorable experience. The owners and their son (who spoke English quite well)we're wonderful, kind and welcoming. There were gorgeous sitting areas and impressive art works of several genres to admire throughout the hotel. Some of the paintings were done by the owner's brother who is a renowned artist. We were served superb breakfasts included in our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was also close to the town square and pedestrian shopping a... Read more

The owners of this casa are friendly and very hospitable. Homemade breakfast every morning, a large air conditioned bedroom with sitting room, who could ask for more? The airy courtyard is filled with gorgeous plants and lots of seating areas. Very relaxing and a short walk from the Tlaquepaque Market which is a wonderful shopping experience.

We loved everything about this hotel: the warm welcome; the beautiful garden; the comfortable habitacion; the convenient location; and the fantastic breakfast. It's a little oasis in a busy but historic barrio. .Muchas gracias!
