Great views and lovely lounge/restaurant overlooking the canyon. A short scenic walk to the zip wires and cable car. Right next to Divisidero station and definitely worth a few nights. The manager Mario is very helpful.

It's a shame that the owners of this property, who we heard live in Chihuahua City, do not keep it up. Our rooms had balconies that overlooked the spectacular views of the canyon, but when you turned around and looked into your room, you saw that everything was old and run down. The wood on the outside of the building was extremely weathered, and not in a good way. It's not like this place is hurting for occupancy, as it sits right on the edge of the canyon. The manager and the staff were atten... Read more

The views from the balcony was spectacular, but the service and food was horrible. We ate dinner there two nights and had flank steak both nights. The 1st night was edible, the 2nd night, we couldn't cut it or chew it. The wait staff in the bar and restaurant did not clean the tables and the service was very poor. If beer bottles or glasses were left on the tables in the bar, they would still be there the next night. The 1st night there was a horrible dog fight in front of our door and the ... Read more

Wonderful views of the Copper Canyon! However to upload and show off your photos on FB or other sites you have to be in the bar area, No wifi in the rooms nor in the lobby! The wifi speed is so slow that you won't see the photos for a few days! The dining room is on the second floor so not handicapped accessible. The rooms were very nice and we were lucky to have one of the few rooms with a TV! The food was very good except for the steak which was not edible as most MX beef is not aged and... Read more

An interesting hotel architecturally, perched on the rim of the canyon, with spectacular balcony views, but something wasn't quite right. Maybe it was the white ash/sand Underfoot, that permeated the air. Travelling with a group, we occupied many rooms, but there was an issue for most with far too many stairs, not enough railings, and the same beef dinner two days in a row. Buffet breakfast was satisfactory. The bar and dining room staff was attentive. Maybe everyone was a trainee and under scr... Read more

...would like to stay next time and thanks for all your help and good advice. The hotel seems really nice too although going here for the wifi isn't recommendable. We stopped by one evening and the atmosphere in the lobby was excellent. Would stay next time for sure ... Reserve in advance!!

Hotel Divisadero is on the rim of the canyon and views are magnificent. We sat through a beautiful electrical storm one night and caught a lovely, although indirect, sunrise the next morning. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the service extended by Mario; I believe he's the manager. He was available to help, asking us how things were going. The location is excellent for visiting the Adventure Park, taking a few hikes. The hotel offers a number of tours to area attractions, some of the ... Read more

This hotel has amazing views, all the staff is so kind and makes you feel like home. Ask for the rooms with view to the canyon!! On those months it was a little cold so bring a jacket with you. An adventure park is 2km walking from the hotel but they can provide you with transportation. One detail: there is only one option for foods (changes every meal time but only one option is served), no menu to choose from.

If you are on chepe train get down at posada barrancas and hotels offers pick up option for free...Suggest to take canyon facing rooms, the views are really breath taking mainly during early mornings...This hotel offers ride to adventure park which is a must try location - has the world's longest zip line ride..staff and real friendly...they offer local tarahumara village trail walk...hotel has nearby raramuri village. .. Try to take with food package, hotel is at remote place near canyons..

I rate this property excellent because all rooms have the most amazing views imaginable. It is just a few steps away from the train. Yes, the rooms could use a little upgrade but I enjoyed every minute at the hotel. The hotel staff worked really hard to make our visit memorable. The public areas are very beautiful. I found myself taking pictures of doors and walls. This is a perfect place to stay while exploring Copper Canyon. Happy Hour was really happy. Great Margaritas. Unfortunately, a limit... Read more
