Families will enjoy the beach at The Royal Islander; beach activities include volleyball and sand castle building and there are sun loungers and thatched palapas for shade. There is a large pool and a separate children’s pool, which are heated during the winter. Pool activities include water aerobics, pool volleyball and snorkeling demonstrations.The daily resort activity program features yoga, aerobics, crafts and beach fun. Water sports such as snorkeling trips, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing and boat trips can be arranged at the in-house travel agency. There are lighted tennis courts at the resort and tennis gear can be signed out at the Sports Desk.
