We were a group of four women travelling who took two rooms at the Oasis Smart before flying out to Cuba the next day. The proximity to the airport was great, yet still close to downtown restaurants and bars. Check in was easy and straight forward and the rooms were comfortable with balconies. We loved the access to the fantastic pool and bar area - very cool with lots of relaxing lounges. We returned for one more night at the end of our travels and again, we were impressed. Superb service , I will definitely visit again. On arrival I was greeted with a cold smooth drink , later the friendly and polite man in the reception gave us an upgrade to Grand Oasis Pyramid , and It was fantastic. gave us a taxi transfer and from the moment of arrival to the return day, I enjoyed every second . the foods were A class, the evening programmes and the parties were brilliant . the clubs were entertaining as well. the beatc was nice ,clean and well maintained. will definitely go a... Inexpensive get away in Cancun. Hotel is part of a chain with the "O" next door for adults only with a nightclub. Check in really fast and we asked for an executive room upgrade which was no problem. Cold lemonade on table while we checked in. Room really modern and clean with coffee and tea making facilities. Pool and surrounding area really lovely with plenty of seating. Restaurant overlooking pool was great for buffet breakfast at 110 ps. and we ate there most nights either from the salad bar... Read more

Got a budget room and ended up without a balcony on the 6th floor. Only one elevator so getting to and from the room was sometimes slow. Location is OK - better to stay at the beach, not downtown. Restaurants are trying to be upscale, but seems some of the items are frozen. The breakfast is tired, with items obviously prepped the previous day, the waffles were like cardboard. Front desk seems incompetent, and made me run back up to my room to get the yellow hotel bracelet I threw away, clai... Read more

I booked a one night stay at Smart by Oasis as I was leaving the next day and I had an OK stay. It was conveniently located outside the busy touristic nightlife area but it is located very close to an area filled with pub and restaurants frequented by locals, which I love. The only drawback: the receptionist asked me in the morning to go back to the room and look through the trash bin to find the hotel bracelet that they gave me the other day, and told me that if I couldn't find it I would need ... My husband and I flew to cancun for the first time and stayed at oasis smart. It's a little confusing because there are two of them right next to each other, and they just tell you which one to go to. The first place was nice and air conditioned, but the second was not. Very humid! Our hotel room was ok, smaller than I thought it would be. We were supposed to get a bath tub, which we did not. We got one shower that didn't have a shower door, so whenever you showered the floor was soaking wet. Th... Read more

I stayed here my 3rd time to cancun in 2016 and wow for the price in my opinion is better than fiesta inn las Americas which is where I stayed prior, I also stayed at Riu palace las Americas which is 5 star so speaks for itself. But if you don't plan to stay much at the resort and you don't mind a short bus ride you will enjoy and save a lot of money staying here, very nice place as well.

Me and my girlfriend decided to book our trip in downtown Cancun to experience more local shopping/restaurants etc. Oasis Smart is in a great location, near multiple restaurants (all of which fantastic) and a pretty large mall with some unique stores. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the staff give you water bottles daily, the pool area is very nice as well. It's secluded and has nice lounge furniture and the pool is well maintenanced. The staff upgraded us... Read more

The hotel is pretty nice, the pool doesn't have too many people around so there are plenty of decent sunbeds around. There's also a small size gym and a bar next door which seemed a little quiet. They have a free shuttle bus twice a day to their sister hotel in the hotel zone (place is pretty packed and loud). Otherwise the bus stop to get the local buses to the hotel zone is only a couple of minutes walk. The downtown location is good, close to loads of restaurants. Parque las palapas with l... Read more

From the front desk to the room attendants to the waiters all of the staff members were kind, helpful and efficient. Let me start by saying I had zero issues with this establishment. King sized bed super comfy with lots of pillows. View all the way to the ocean but it's not that close. Very nice sized room with a mini fridge. Small bathroom, no tub but not needed. At least by me. Lots of towels. Very clean. Huge Plaza of the Americas about a 10-15 minute walk but a hot one. ... Read more

Stayed here for just one night in between a resort visit and transfer. Very nice hotel, rooms were clean, modern and very spacious. Our room faced the highway which meant there was a small amount of road noise, even on the 6th floor, but not enough to bother us. Pool looked great, though we didn't use it, and reception staff were helpful with luggage and organising taxis for us. Short walk to bars and restaurants and the Cancun baseball field - Go Tigres!

We visited for two weeks in June and the Oasis Smart was simply superb. Yes, it's not a massive all-inclusive resort. Yes it's not on the beach. But what you get is a wonderful boutique style hotel, with an incredible pool and wonderful staff. They say that Oasis loves you - but we love Oasis and the people we met there. I suggest nobody stays here! The air conditioner in the room barely works. The wifi is the worst I have experienced. The customer service at the pool bar is very bad. The day I went to the pool bar there was only about 3 people there and the look on the bar staff's face when I went to order 2 beers was like they could not be bothered. Generally, this is a great hotel if you are looking to stay away from the "Hotel Zone" that looks more like Miami than Mexico. if what you are looking for is a relaxing, worry-less, all-inclusive, potato couch style of vacation... this is NOT the place to go to. We stayed in this hotel for one night after arriving in Cancun before traveling south the next day. The room was adequate but had an odd smell in it, like bleach or some sort of strong cleaner. It was relatively clean, but there was black mould around the ceiling, which is to be expected to some degree given the humidity in the area. It was a quiet room with a little balcony which was nice.

Room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool area with music and the interior gives you a real luxurious feeling. Also adults only in some pool areas, that is really nice to relax. Tasty breakfast. But some areas of the gym aren't suited for European sized people, on the cross trainer I hit my head to the ceiling and I'm 1.78m. Pros: friendly staff, competitive pricing, spacious rooms, fine breakfast. Cons: shabby building that seems more like an archive, not a hotel. Has only one tiny and slow elevator. Location is not too attractive - our view from the room was industrial and alienating. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was disastrous. Service was slow and inattentive and the food itself was of low quality. If you don't have budget issues, you can probably do way better.

Good afternoon. We lived in the hotel from 7 November to 18 November. Overall, a good hotel. Breakfast is hearty, but monotonous. Lots of windows, but they are dirty. The hotel excellent location. Next stop, you can reach the sea (15 minutes, 10 pesos), close to shops, on the other hand oxxo store, banks and a laundry service. Lubricate the impression, on the last day hoster stole a gold chain of my wife. Hotel Administration very slowly responds to e-mails.
