Very relaxing hotel with a gorgeous view for an affordable price. The rooms are a little old but ok according to what you pay. The food is pretty much standard except for the Mexican restaurant which is pretty awesome. Good location. Special mentions to Sandrac on the reception for an impeccable service (the best in the hotel imo), Yazmin who kept our room really tidy and Edgar in the bar who's very attentive. I will be back!

Krystal hotel was okay I didn't find the staff to inviting or friendly at all. The buffet food was mediocre. The options for restaurants are better such as El Mortero. But honestly when I got home I rushed to my favor toe authentic Mexican restaurant to get some good food. The hotel is near everything which is convenient and busy at night. The hotel needs lots of maintenance in the rooms. Under the sink there was a big hole that went into the wall. Scary. Overall I made the best of my time in Me... Read more

First of all, I have worked in customer service so I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Everyone makes mistakes, but it was one thing after another. 1)We get to the hotel to check in and the gentleman at the front desk proceeded to tell me I booked a "standard" room. I politely told him that I booked a "deluxe ocean view room" and showed I'm my travel documents and receipts. He then told me he was going to upgrade both of my rooms, like he was doing me a favor. Great hotel with awesome views. The lobby was nice and air conditioned. Check-in was easy too. The only downside is we got there early and there is no early check-in in this hotel so you have to wait in the lobby, but at least the lobby had a bar and a couple of pool tables to entertain yourself while you wait. Finally it was 3pm and we got our room, the room was clean and cozy plus we paid for the oceanview with balcony room which was spectacular. The hotel has easy beach access and a foot and ... Second, the room they gave me was two blocks away from the entrance and the air conditioning did not work and when I did finally get them to fix the A/C the fumes from that unit caused me to become ill and I have been ill for over 15 days; Third, the hotel was 90% booked and the beach chairs were all taken and no one to help you get a seat on the beach; Forth, they had an Engineering Convention and were catering to the l... I just came back from Krystal Cancun last week. I had a great time in the resort. I had no surprise after I read the review before I went to the resort. I booked the trip from It is very well organized from booking the trip until the end of the trip. They make sure everything is ok. All I did was to sit on the presentation in the 2nd day of the trip. There is no pressure for you to purchase the timeshare if you are not interested. Once you are done with the presentation. You a... Read more

We just returned from 5 nights in Cancun. Upon entry into Krystal we were amazed, the building is beautiful. The first impression of the staff was more than we had ever expected. Each staff member showed appreciation and was eager to provide service We had difficulty with our key card and Ethan, reception desk worker, not only fixed the key card but walked us to our room to insure the key worked. He further introduced us to our room to insure we did not have any questions. By choice we ate... Read more

Krystal Cancun is an okay resort overall. I purchased a package from a telemarketer who called and I accepted. When we went to the sales presentation we were offered a nice package that if promises were delivered, would have been a nice bargain. We were told that if we purchased the package that we would get rooms in Krystal Cancun for $399 per week. This was lie #1. When I wanted to purchase a week this summer (I am traveling August 26th) I was told that the cheapest rate was $80 per night. The... Read more

The beach and water is beautiful , the staff is doing their best but be prepare to tip everywhere. We are first timers in Mexico so when we book a with this resort it was a great deal $900 for 7 nights. The rooms are great, but they do not clean properly even with a tip on the table every morning. Bathroom were really bad there is no ventilation so from time to time the septic smell will reach the 5th floor even at night. They use very smelly chemicals, we had to air the room everyday. We had al... Read more

Traveled: August 31st, 2016 to September 7th, 2016 Group: Six guys The resort is fairly close to the airport which is always a plus, because who really wants to sit on a bumpy bus ride for another hour after being on the plane for several hours already? I gather the ride to the resort was about 20-30 minutes depending on how many other people are getting dropped off along the way. The resort is literally right on the downtown cancun strip... you can see the Palazzo club from the gym, and you ... Read more

The first room (3311) no AC and mold smell, Mandala Disco on the beach does not let you sleep, don't go to this 3 stories building the oldest of the hotel, is filthy and smells bad, elevator is like service one, very dirty, if you happen to push S you get the basement and probably will leave the Hotel. We complained and got a better rooms at pool level, no noise, slightly smell of mold. 3 restaurants, Italian is very Good, Calixto the best server, Hacienda El Mortero, a good one, great food and ... the faucets were off the wall and I could see a hole there. The rooms was quite small too. I could also feel the humidity from outside. I was also not ask if I needed help to get to my room and the stairs make it hard to move around with bags.

We stayed here in August. The hotel property was beautiful. The rooms were very nice. Only complaint for the sleep rating was not due to the room, it was due to the noise from the clubs. 3 nights out of 8 the clubs were so loud we couldn't sleep from 1am-5am. The servers were very wonderful in the restaurants and at the bars. However we are more used to being waited on outside in the sun, and drinks and food brought to us. There was a shortage of staff, in my opinion outside. The food at the Mex... Read more

We stayed here for 4 days. The first day we were placed in a family room on the far right side of the building. The view was blocked by the building in front and we asked to be moved. We then were in the room front of the pool. The front office is semi helpful but they were swamped by all the people who were trying to check in at the same time. We checked in early at 10am, but didn't get our bracelets until 3pm. My friend went to the store and they didn't let my friend enter the hotel, (ev... Read more

You get what you pay for. The food isn't the best we experienced throughout our trip, and the rooms were average, with no balcony as we faced away from the sea. We also didn't get any coffee in our room, when our friends did. The place was fairly tidy, but it's not for a luxurious stay. The location however is great, a few minutes walk from all the clubs and restaurants, which was very ideal. It's right on the beach with a great pool. The pool bars were great and there was always plenty of space... Read more
