"This place was nice! Make sure to get the Club Deluxe room. The food and drinks there will save you alot of money. But prepare for them to put a hold on your credit card! They held over $800.00 on mine and said they would subtract what you do not spend in the hotel. That was false, for to get food or spa services, I had to pay on top of the money that was put on hold. Turns out; they werent supposed to hold $800. There was a mistake on when they ran the credit card, and they were only supposed to hold about 650; but accidentally help more money which took 2 days to remove off of my card. Thank goodness I had more money on me. Make sure you do also!!!"

"the hotel was great, a little plain but clean and neat. normally stay at hyatt whenever possible, including this time in Cancun, but a front desk person caused all the bad experiences to me and my family. when we arrived at hotel at 1:30pm after all long morning travel, she told me that we have to wait until 3pm to check in. her face was cold with no smile, no expressions. so we waited until 2pm, we were all very tired, my 14 yrs old daughter went back to her to see if possible there is a room for us, she told her the same thing. 2:45pm, i finally went to talk to her, and she still says 'NO ROOM'! i was little frustrated at this point, i can't believe that this great hotel with a such cold service person not even showing a little considerations for their customers. when i start to question her, she said let me check, then she found a room in 5 seconds. then later during our stay, there were few times we have to talk with her regarding something else, again, she has no smile on her face....why they put some unpleasant person at the front desk? the whole hotel experiences ruined by her, i was unhappy everytime when i think about this. i think i will reconsider hyatt next time because of it.
others were minor. room was not cleaned until 2pm, i have to call the front desk, still not coming until hours later. but they getting the room cleaned."

"nice hotel very contemporary deisgn.watch out local telphones calls are charged by the hotel.
i think the internet should be free,but we paid $16 a day.
nightlife good nearby walking distant,and choice of cafes restuarants.
otherwise everthing was okay.
beaches were clean no problem.

"First off - great location. It's a 5 min walk to the nightlife area and a 10 min walk&bus ride to the Albatross catamaran for a snorkeling trip to Isla Mujeres (a top bang for buck excursion by the way). The location comes at the small cost of a few extra minutes on the ride to and from the airport. Since the hotel is on Punta Cancun, the views from the rooms are good on various sides of the hotel. And the surf isn't as rough at this part of the beach compared to the rest of the Hotel Zone, making swimming more relaxing. Secondly - the hotel itself exceeded expectations. It's smaller and more intimate than the mega resorts down the road and the restaurants were all excellent (try the risotto and artichoke from The Grill). The property layout also allows for fantastic ocean views from the pools, restaurants and lounge in the hotel. The staff is also very friendly - not sure if this is any different at the neighboring hotels, but worth a mention. Lastly, instead of going all inclusive elsewhere, we opted for a Hyatt special giving us Double Credit (e.g. pay $200, get $400). A lot of excursions include meals and you don't really eat at the hotel your first and last day, so all-inclusive doesn't pay off unless you're boozing heavily. At less than $100/nt over Labor Day weekend, this hotel will be tough to beat with everything considered."
