I love this resort. If you want to experience being in a jungle here is your resort. You can walk on pathways with foliage on both sides. This resort has wildlife all around you. Sometimes it may take a while before you see it, but they are there. This resort is beautiful. It is amongst 4 other resorts all together. The other resorts are Colonial, White sands, Riviera, and the Royal Suites( which Royal is for adults only). There two shows for your nightly entertainment. There are two huge buffet... Read more

We had a wonderful visit at this resort. There are four hotels within walking/shuttle distance, and each has different things to offer. The Riviera is great for nightlife. My mother and I spent two of the night listening to the live band, Conclase, and they were absolutely excellent. The resort was gorgeous, and the grounds were well maintained. The service was amazing too. Jesus Sanchez, a bell boy, particularly went out of his way to be of service. The only disappointment was the food. We were... Read more

The hotel is big but by third day we found the way how o get fast to all activities we need it. The most important for us was the beach. We read lots reviews re rocky beach which made us a little nervous. the beach is beautiful, there is an area without rocks and you do not need any beach shoes. Kids were able to enjoy t... Read more

6 of us stayed the week of May 27 - June 3 and the weather was great! Overall the resort is ok but if your staying at the Kentenah you will be listening to construction next store, It looks like they are building a new resort, one of the bell boys think it was going to be a Hard Rock resort. The noise started about 7:30 and went on to 5-6. Now I know your gone most of the day but the mornings would be nice to listen to the birds / wildlife. Service is slow at buffets and bars. Food is like every other all inclusive, lots of variety but meh as far as flavour - desserts look nice but all are just bland. Asked several times for mini fridge to be restocked, didn't happen, had to change rooms halfway through 2 week holiday as AC wasn't working and dumped massive amount of water on floor from roof. Second suite has some issues with outdoor shower door handle not working and sink won't drain. Mayan suite is nice but on main level and bei... Read more

Our room was very nice and new looking. It was fun to wander around and go to all the different resorts. If you were bored you can just go to a different part of the resort. Lots of walking. The beach was beautiful and private, just for the resort. Bring water shoes because it is rocky with broken coral. The food was pretty good and the service we had was great. The only complaint we have for the whole week was that the Brazilian restaurant was terrible. Bad service and even worse food. One ba... Read more

Pros: - I didn't have a bad meal the entire time (the room service wasn't quite a good as everything else but it was fine). Full disclosure: I'm not picky but the food was pretty good. I've gotten sick on almost every previous vacation and didn't on this one! - Very clean - I pretty much always saw someone cleaning or landscaping and my room was nicely taken care of - Plenty of animals around the property that were fun to watch - Comfy bed - Good nightly shows (I only saw two but enjoyed them)... I will stand by what I said the last time, this hotel has something for everyone and has variety. There is lots to do and lots of different places to eat and drink. We arrived with a group of 12 and we were given an upgrade as repeat customers and placed in the Kantenah. Difficult one. I requested not to be in the Kantenah and not to be anywhere near the new building works yet I was given an unexpected upgrade and placed right near the new hotel building works. This is a bit long but there is so much to say. To start off, we used Canada Transfers for our private transfer. We really like using them, friendly, clean, cold wash cloths and water, $1 coronas for the drive. Grand Palladium is over an hour drive so it's nice to have great transportation. We usually got to the pool around 8am and tons of open chairs. This may have been a slow week for them, but even lots of open chairs until around 11 or noon. Pool was great. Nice and refreshing. The room was lovely - the beds are very comfortable and the complex and the room were immaculately clean. When we arrived we were all in the same building, 2 rooms on the 3rd floor, one on the second, and one on the first. We got two rooms and requested rooms next to each other as I have 3 teens. The first night this was not possible but they were very nice and made it happen for night 2-7. We were i... Read more

There were no one day without a deception in my 12 days vacations. The main cause of such bad experience is the management of the resort. it is full of bureaucracy and disdain. I'll just list what make me unhappy in my trip and it just didn't ruined my vacations because I found a lot on interesting things to do outside of the hotel. 1) the hotel doesn't support the amount of guests that came during summer vacations. ice machines that stops working, waffle machines broken, and endless queues... I would like the readers to know my perspective, so here are the places I have stayed before: Beaches Turks and Caicos, Divi All Inclusive Aruba, and Secrets Maroma Beach, Mexico (Riviera Maya). We are a family that looks for and enjoys luxury when we vacation... The grounds: The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. You have to remember there are SO many people at this resort, I would never expect everything to be perfect, but they certainly do a good job at trying. There is so much t... Read more

We took our teenage children to Mexico for a vacation and booked three rooms at the Kantenah for eight days in July. Overall it was a nice vacation. The facilities at the Grand Palladium are really very well done. The rooms are well appointed and the communal facilities are very nice. My husband and I had a Mayan suite room overlooking the beach which was very comfortable and perfectly situated. The air conditioning didn't work during our entire trip but we got used to just using the fan. It was... Read more

The property is so large that you always have somethng to do, or a place to just relax. The Travel Club really took care of us. Good food. Always a clean room. The staff is amazing! Elisa from the Travel club not only located my lost phone, but went with us to meet security to pick it up. Viridiana and Edgar in the Hacienda Resaurant were both very attentive and seemed to enjoy their work. This was our first stay at an all inclusive and overall the resort was fantastic. We really enjoyed how the ala carte restaurants were not limited like some of the other resorts. We ate at all of them during our stay and thoroughly enjoyed them all. The buffets were pretty standard fare. We found a lot of misinformation when trying to get answers from resort staff and different answers and results depending on the staff member assisting you. In my opinion while very friendly staff were big ... Read more

We stayed at the Grand Palladium during the period July 19 - 26, 2016. We were a family of 6 and stayed in 2 Standard Rooms on the Kantenah side. The experience overall was great. As it relates to dining, there are several Buffets and A La Carte Restaurants across the 4 Resorts (Kantenah, Colonial, White Sand and Riviera). We typically had breakfasts and lunches at the buffets and dinner at the A La Carte restaurants. The buffets were very good. We had dinners at the Steak Restaurant, Ribs and ... Read more

I would like to preface this review by saying that this is an absolutely GORGEOUS resort. We traveled with another couple in mid-July and I was blown away with the beauty of the grounds. There is jungle everywhere, wildlife abundant, and a beautiful shoreline. We initially booked through GP colonial, but we were moved to the Kantenah side after having to wait nearly two hours for our rooms to become available and having to listen to a very slick timeshare pitch. This is the last thing any of... Read more

This place is wonderful! If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, this is the place to be. I read reviews about this resort for about 3 months before arriving. They were very beneficial and prepared me for what was to come. Many people complain about food but if you think about how hard it is to satisfy everyone, they really do a good job of offering a variety of things for everyone for eat. I traveled with my spouse and 3 teenage boys and they were overall satisfied with the food choices.... Read more

We (2 adults and kids at 6&1) spent 14 days here and it is a really great place - and huge :) Check-in: was easy and without any problems :) Room: good space and the design/layout was nice. At times the bathroom had a smell of sewer/moist, which were the only bad thing about the room. We stayed at villa 46 and it was a nice location for kids for the children pool and food. Beach: nice and easy to avoid rocks/coral - and we also saw a huge turtle. Pool: huge and with enough space - never crow... Read more

We are currently 5 days into a 2 week stay, our room is in the Ketanha group of rooms, the electrics are bad, wires hanging out of most appliances, but the worst if it is how they organise the food here. They have 8 specific restaurants from Brazillian to Italian but you can't book any, you have to queue and then take you turn, which involves a wait of between 1-2 hours, which is ok if you want to get ready and queue at around 7.30 to eat at nearly 10 pm at night, which isn't that much fun if yo... Our trip here was excellent! The only downside was the time it took to check in (when they say "3PM", it's closer to 4PM). We stayed in the Kantennah. Daniel at the Pool Bar was one of the friendliest and hardest working guys I've ever seen, and our housekeeper (Maria) was excellent as well. The location was great, and it's definitely worth the trip.

We have now been at the Palladium for a few days and honestly the trip has been amazing thus far. Besides all of the amenities they have available (spa, exclusions, pools, endless bar and food options) we have loved the staff, especially Alfredo at the Kantenah outdoor bar, located near the pool. He has drinks refilled before they are complete and treats vacationers as family!! My now husband and I are looking forward to future visits! Thank you Alfredo and staff!!!

The reception area has had a complete refit. It is now really modern looking. The seating area is all brand new. The bar is a beautiful sleek design. The sports bar is fantastic. Dining here is an exhausting evening. Reservations not needed they say, just try it. Even if we tried to make reservations it was difficult. When we did eat food was very acceptable as I am not really picky, but buffets become boring. Entertainment was just average, but I will give them the A for the effort because they really did try to get everyone involved. The resort is quite large so there will be quite a bit of walking. The walking is on wooden bridges through the jungle, however al... Read more

The Grand Palladium was a wonderful choice.
