only neg: room service is horrible. if you need extra water or anything for the room good luck with that.

"We stayed the end of march 2012, I have to say I read the reviews on here, and expected the worst. Thank goodness, i was wrong, the hotel is beautiful, clean, and very very nice. The staff are nice, some are limited with the language barrier. Our room looked nothing like the room pictures online, but i have to admit, we were very pleased, the bed was huge and comfortable, and clean, we had a jacuzzi in our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The grounds, beach an surrounding areas were also spotless, we had no problem with noise, or loud, or drunk people. The air conditioning could have worked a little better, but I really couldnt complain. The food isnt the greatest, hot food should be hotter, and cold food should be colder, i read on here they hide the bacon, that you have to ask for it, dont bother, its not cured or something, its like tasteless bacon thats hard an tough like beef jerky. I think for the great price we got, that this was an excellent place to stay, I cant wait to go back, Beware of the catamaran trip, they offer transportation there and back, thats not the case, they take you to the bus stop and tell the bus driver where to drop you, then you have to catch the bus and find your own way back, also the catamaran wasnt very big for all the people they cramed on it, but it was still fun, just not really worth the money, which was around 70 bucks a person. We stayed for 4 nights, and will definately stay longer next time. This may not be the perfect place for people with lots of money, that are use to being treated SPECIAL, because they treat everyone special, they really try to help in any way they can, and I felt totally safe the entire time i was there. The only real negative thing i can say about this vacation, is that it takes to long for the NEXT vacation to get here, cause I cant wait to go back. Smoking has also been mentioned, I am a smoker, and they have ashtrays in areas where you CAN smoke, and if i didnt see an ashtray, i didnt smoke there, i never seen anyone smoking in the areas where there were no ashtrays, and i also seen NO cig. butts on the ground anywhere, ever. Ive always vacationed in florida, now that ive experienced all-inclusive, and that beautiful ocean and beach, i dont think i could go back to florida."
