"My husband and I recently went to Cabo with 2 other couples. To start with the positives the location can't be beat, you're with in walking distance to everything the marina has to offer. The rooms are nice and spacious very clean, the food was good it's nice to have several restraunts to choose from. The negatives: upon check in we where suprised that the require a $500 deposit they don't just hold the card they acutally charge it then refund it at the end of your trip. This was a problem for our friends who had only brought a debit card. It wasn't the end of the world but good to be prepared. (we'll see if I get the credit back). The service here was horrible, wether it was at the bar or restraunts, it took 15 minutes to get a menu, a drink, longer for food. One night we waited 2 hours at the Sushi restraunt and gave up on getting all our food. We even tried giving large tips to see if it improved the service but no luck. Many people had mentioned it being a pain to sign recipets after every meal and I assumed it wouldn't be a big deal however it's a huge deal espcially when it takes an additional 10 mins to get it, and then every memember of your group has to sign a different slip even if all you want is water you have to wait to sign. At the end of our trip we only had one charge on our room for drinks we didn't order but of course we had signed for. So check what you're signing. The final down fall is the lack of chairs by the pool, I got up at 6 AM along with several other guest to throw a towel on a chair or else you don't get one, by 6:15 they're gone. Overall it wasn't a bad trip or experience, but It's good to be informed about what you're getting into."

"We just came back with my husband last week and we actually enjoyed this hotel. We are always looking for the best rates and healthy food. This hotel has the all-inclusive package and it includes 4-5 restaurants (Italian, Sushi, Mexican Food, Palapa, etc.) This was the best part of our trip, eating. We loved the food! We always try to eat at clean places and everything was delicious here. We did not get sick... The other thing we enjoyed was the location of the hotel. You don't have to take a taxi anywhere...you just walk to the bars and shops, and we felt safe. There was always 2-3 security guards at night. The rooms were clean and there was always water bottles in the refrigerator.

The only downside is that when you arrive at the hotel the gentlemen at the front wants to schedule you for the timeshare buffet. You have to be very assertive and say no if you are not interested. They tried convincing us like 2 days for us to attend their meeting but we told them we were not interested."

"We were a little hesitant afterreading some of the reviews here, but I can not say enough what a great place this is! Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of room, overlooked the pool and the marina. The room attendant was amazing. She kept everything orderly and was very friendly whenever she saw us. The check in staff was great, very accomodating and informative. We did the all inclusive plan. The food at the hotel and at the other included marina restaurants was fabulous! The service at all the restaurants was great. Everyone was accomodating and the service was fast. The only server we had an issue with was at the pool bar. The bartender left everyone empty and went about cleaning the bar and/or restocking rather than refilling the drinks. We finally started just asking the pool waiters for them and they were more than happy to oblige! It was a daily occurance, and finally,on our last day, he got a back up bartender who was great. Other than that, the place is amazing! We could walk to pretty much everything, had a great time watching the fishing boats go in and out, met Pancho, the local sea lion,did some shopping, and checked out some of the night spots. We can not wait to go back! We will absolutely book this hotel again!"
