Gorgeous, very spacious renovated rooms, with great comfortable beds (floors 16 and above, well worth nominal upgrade fees). Views from every room that cannot be discribed with enough accolades. Food that is reasonably priced and delicious (best EVER guacamolely with homemade chips). Guaranteed sunshine with temps from mid 80's into 90's everyday with little to no chance of rain during our winter months. Excellent service from beginning to end of your stay. Why go anywhere else!!!

I stayed here three nights last month (Feb 2016). First trip to Acapulco. Bay truly beautiful, lovely beach, three duplicate days of heat and sunshine. First, the pros: The hotel is easily accessible from the airport. Took a taxi (pre-paid inside the airport) for 350 pesos. Greeted immediately by "Adolfo", a perfectly lovely bellman who's worked at the hotel for decades. Breakfast buffet each morning was over the top--anything and everything you could want for breakfast, including freshly... Read more

The hotel is great, the facilities, the service, location and prices. What is not good is that it mislead you at making online reservations. You believe that you are dealing with the hotel and the result is that you are dealing with someone else. They offer on the ad a free breakfast was changed "automatically" on the reservation. There was nothing to complaint as it did not show the bfst in the reservation. But did not noticed until check in. Other than that the hotel is perfect. Never will go ... Read more

The hotel is in a very nice área surrounding by restaurants and night clubs. The hotel is settled in front of the ocean, the beach is wonderful, and the pools too. You can find small boats to go skiing and the parachutes are in front of your eyes. You can also rent a banana boat that takes you a ride having so much fun. The hotel has three restaurants for every taste and Budget. There is one inside the building for breakfast and the other named zapata Villa & co used to have mexican food, and t... Read more

Never one to leave reviews but this hotel needs to know what they're doing wrong. We were there with a group of 18 on a long overdue trip. We booked a "Grand Room" which price wise was not bad very spacious and looked fairly new. After a day of travelling we checked into our room to find our room hadn't been cleaned from previous guest, we called reception and they moved us into a different room within 20 minutes. It was pretty quick but a little annoying since we were so exhausted. The room we ... Read more

My family, consisting of 5 couples and a handful of children, just returned from a weeks stay at the Grand Hotel and while we tried to make the best of our vacation, there were so many issues that we all returned home disappointed with our trip. Some of these items may not seem like a big deal, but had I known their policies, we absolutely would not have stayed at this hotel. - No outside food or drinks are allowed, including your room: I do a lot of traveling, including many other beach citie... We stayed for two weeks. The staff are friendly, smart, hardworking and always helpful. As for the hotel being outdated, we found it spacious, clean, with every amenity anyone could want. The pool areas are clean and fun. Beach is amazing of course, and the local traders are polite and will not harass you if you say no their goods. Food:::: We have to say that the food here is FANTASTIC.. organic, fresh, different each day, breakfast is buffet style, with everything you could possibly want. Di... Read more

This is a very large hotel. The buffet in the restaurant is excellent. There are two pools and of course a great beach. Our room was large with an ocean view balcony. The air conditioning was inadequate for the hot temperature and there was a slight smell of mold. Since we arrived late and we were staying only one night, we did not complain. If given a chance, perhaps they could have corrected some of the above.

It is not a luxury hotel. But for family with kid it is an excellent choice. It has a big pool and the beach is nice. Sometime the beach could be crowded since it is public. However if you like people is a good place. The offer morning buffet which is very good. There are many restaurant options if you walk outside. Good hotel is you bring the whole family. For couples will not be good look for something more romantic. This is not. There is a sinagoge at the basement of hotel. There are regular ... Read more

Where to start?? Ok the positive : the food is very good although by the third day you start being bored. They are renovating the hotel so some rooms are better than others and, even if you get one of the newly made rooms they have their issues. The other and last positive thing I have to say is about the personnel, they are all amazing! Really nice and accommodating to every wish you might have. Now for the negative: First of all they have a program called semi-all-inclusive (what??) it means... Read more

This welcoming hotel is attractive, inviting and clean. Gorgeous modern bathrooms with walk-in showers are luxurious. Right on the beach with many fun night-spots on the strip within short and inexpensive cab rides. In walking distance of local family-run restaurants serving flavorful tamales, beer and chicken dishes day and night! Larger stores like wal-mart are conveniently located across the street, as are pharmacies, diners, handi-craft merchants, and even real-live human beings ready to... Read more

The Grand Hotel definitely looks amazing from the lobby all the way down to the outdoor pools. The room I was in was a grand family suite. The room was clean and luxurious. The view was amazing! The two pools are great at night time and the beach is amazing during the day. For safety reasons they close the pool and beach access early, at 9 pm. The hotel is near a Walmart, a casino, various restaurants, and movie theater. The city is very safe to walk around at night. The restaurant at the hotel ... Read more
