My husband and I spent 8 days at this resort and only had one disappointment....language barrier. Not many could speak English.... I did my best with my Spanish but I'm definitely not fluent. The resort is beautiful....well maintained from what we observed.... Always working, landscspe and up keep at resort was always going on.....The pools were at a great temperature....never stepped foot in ocean, the under toe was horrendous. The buffet is priced too high for the quality... Better food ac... Read more

We were a party of 5 adults and one child we had a three bedroom villa on the 10th floor and it was very nice. Beautiful views from all areas of the Villa. We ate mostly breakfast and lunches at the villa and ate out at night. It is located near everything we needed, transportation, night life, restaurants, etc... The staff was very nice if we had one thing that was a challenge I would say it was the language barrier. We do not speak fluent Spanish and only a few of the people working spoke... Read more

The good points: On arrival at the hotel I was very impressed, the reception and general communal areas are very impressive; clean, open, modern and bright. The receptionist spoke wonderful English and we were shown to an English speaking guide who told us a bit about Acapulco and made himself available for us to contact should we wish. There was no mention of timeshares and I didn't see anyone else being taken to attend a talk. There is a shop and a free cash machine which were really helpful. ... Read more

Good location in tourist zone except for the nighttime music from the bars. Great service except for failing to advise us of the cartel-police shootout on Sunday night. Staff spoke plenty of English. Pool bar/restaurant was great. Dinner restaurant okay. Beautiful hotel beach but too much garbage on beach next door which someone ought to pick up. Comfy beds, not always the case in Mexico. That was a real plus. Overall, very good hotel with good security, soldiers guarding it day and nigh... Read more

The best option as a resort in Acapulco, great facilities, easy access to all areas, this is what you're looking for when traveling with all family members!!!! Special thanks to Jesus Arteaga for all his hospitality, Ricardo Mondragon as he ensured every little detail at all outlets to guarantee our entire satisfaction, Alejandro Dominguez for watching out and everyone in the hotel that went above and beyond in order to offer the best experience!!!! Thank you #fiestaamericanavillasacapulco

The hotel and staff were phenomenal. Location is perfect. Beach was awesome. Dance clubs and many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend asking for Juan for a personalized city tour. He can usually be found outside the Starbucks attached to the hotel. The city tour was the highlight of our trip. Despite recent travel advisories, we never once felt unsafe, even when "downtown". Absolutely no complaints and plan to return again and again!

This location is perfect. It's located right on the strip and walking distance to shops , entertainment and restaurants. The staff is so polite and you are treated with the utmost respect. I had the pleasure of meeting a few of the personnel who went out of their way to make my stay the most memorable . A great thanks to Alejandro, Ricardo , Virginio and Elsa. I will return again and again!!!

We stayed 3 days 2 nights in a suite with 2 rooms (1 king; 2 Queen ) 1 Master suite with yacuzzi, living room (pull bed) kitchen, TV, for $18,300 pesos (11 adults and 2 children) not bad price The view from the hotel is speech less. The swimming pools service is excellent they have enough places to stay under shade. I recommend someone of your party to wake-up earlier and go down to the swimming pool area and choose the area you want for the day and leave a towel and shirt as an example so no ... Read more

The hotel has a unique position on the beach which is wasted because there is practicaly no room left on the beach. All is taken by restaurant tables, sellers and rental gear such as jets. The crowd is so dense that you either have to go far away or stay in the pool area. Also, so crowded place inevitably leads to the water (and beach) pollution, so be prepared to be accompanied by some dirt at all times. Apart from this, the hotel services are just perfect. Obviously, this is not a small family... Read more

We had the pleasure to stay one night in the Fiesta Americana hotel in Acapulco. The staff is very welcoming and friendly and spoke very well American English. When staying at this hotel you feel like you are going back in time because of it seventies architecture. Pity the rooms also haven't been upgraded since. View from our room is lovely. The pools are nice and the deckchairs comfortable. Beach is lovely but basic.

We stayed at the Fiesta Americana Villas for two weeks. The location made walking to a lot of wonderful restaurants and shopping very easy and a short cab ride to the old town square. The room we had was a very spacious one bedroom with a kitchen, living room, large bathroom, good sized bedroom, and two balconies. We were on the 19th (top) floor which had wonderful views, but, I believe that due to the location of the hotel (on top of a cliff) the views will be similar at almost any level. The... Read more

Our vacations were really good there, rooms, lobby, pool restaurants everything was great. All the employees are really nice too. Any room you get, you will have a really nice view. One little thing I suggest is, the safe they have in the rooms are too small that is it. Best hotel!!!

This was my first stay at this property. Even the standard rooms are large. I was upgraded to a junior suite on my last night. Very, very nice suite. The staff was outstanding. They wanted to ensure your comfort.Very good location, but if you need to sleep at night, good luck. Even with earplugs I couldn't sleep. There are clubs on each side of the hotel. Not much the hotel can do about this. The fitness center was very nice. They were even nice enough to open it for me early each morning. The swim... I was offered a deluxe room, which did not have any "deluxe" in it. When we asked, we were told that it was actually a standard-deluxe room, which doesn't make any sense. Facilities in general are excellent, as well as employees are extremely kind.

Enjoyed the location of the hotel, close to everything. nice pool, great pool side service. lower level floors are a little loud given the close proximity to the main road along the beach through Acapulco.
