Just ignore all the bad things said about this Hotel, it was great, food was good plenty of choice. Drinks were nice, staff was nice Example soloman, victor, Chuck and Albert loved them all! was very clean everywhere, cleaners came in every day. Everything you need this hotel has, noise wasn't to bad considering your right next to St Julians (party Central) Great location. Beds were Comfy! Was nice atmosphere everyone there spoke and was friendly, lots of different ages there all enjoyed.

In terms of food and the room, you get what you pay for - its okay if you're not too fussy. Drinks choices are good for all inclusive, especially the price you pay to upgrade to all inc. Bar staff such as Soloman and Victor are lovely, restaurant staff are quite grumpy, and the reception staff (Dalila being one) are VERY unhelpful. The tour guide lady in the reception is the person to go to for information about the country, the area and any trips - speaks great english and is very helpful and p... Read more

If you are worried about booking here after reading the reviews, I wouldn't worry unless you are a very picky person!! If you are just looking for a decent place to stay then its absolutely fine! I would stay here again as I am not picky, but to me there really were no problems! The room was nice and spacious and we had a massive balcony! The pool area is fantastic and the location is pretty much perfect - 5 mins walk from st. julians bay which is beautiful and then right in the centre of Pacevi... Read more

Negatives out of the way first- We had booked a one bedroom apartment but were given a studio (room 805) therefore no kitchen facilities, tea or coffee making or fridge- we were staying all inclusive but always try to have something available in the room in case we sleep in and miss breakfast. We didn't raise this with the hotel as the room was nice, clean and thankfully quiet- nothing like the rooms we were warned about by previous reviews. We travelled as a family of four, with two boys age 9 and 7. ROOM: Our room was on floor 6, although the reception level is classed as 3, rather than 0 or Ground; room was overlooking the pool and sea (between other buildings),which was nice. We have heard that the other side is noisy, cause of the night clubs, so ask for pool view whenever possible. We checked in around midnight, so there was no queues at the reception, but our room only had 3 single beds for 4 of us, the receptionist was very... Read more

Stayed there half board and the breakfast wasn't bad. Very good dinners though. A lot of choice each night and a varied menu. It was ideal for me. Location is good. At t... Read more

On our last day here after arriving last Friday. We were really nervous after reading the poor reviews but it actually isn't that bad. Came here on an all inclusive basis, the food isn't great but can't complain at the price. It's great if you want pasta every day or mash that looks like prison slop. The cocktails are awful, they really need to come up with at least one cocktail that doesn't contain grenadine. If you are all inclusive you can pay a discounted price for branded spirits. Jaege... We had to wait 1 hour to check-in. The room had 2 beds for the 2 of us, so that was cool. When you came in the bathroom, you really wanted to leave as soon as possible. If you decide to leave the hotel you have to hand-in your key at the reception. But when you came back and you wanted your key, you had to wait at the reception when someone gives you the key. The hotel is well located - only a short walk from a nearby beach, shops, a number of restaurants, bars and clubs however not too close therefore aren't deprived of a good nights sleep. I couldn't fault the hotel on its cleanliness my room was done each day. The food was awful we did all inclusive. If you wanted tea or coffee during your lunch or main meal you had to get it from the bar, once the coffee machine was switched off at 10 am, it didn't go on until the next morning. They had one toaster for all the guests there was always a queue. Drinks were not good. IF you wanted to party this was a place for you as it is near the night clubs, gentleman clubs etc. Other people we... Read more

We arrived early after making our own way from the airport with my elderly father, we had requested that we had rooms next to each other in case of emergencies. They offered us two rooms on the 8th (top) floor next to each other but as one wasn't ready we said we would come back. The rooms were very large but basic in the extreme with no working air conditioning, if you wanted that it would cost 50 euros for the week. The restaurant was a long distance from the room and reception and the lift... Read more

Not a great hotel experience for us. Room and hotel were clean but it was not a comfortable stay, very basic furniture and no table on the balcony. You had to hire a kettle for your room. Cushions and umbrella's for around the pool also came at a cost - I expect this on a beech, certainly not at a all inclusive hotel. The hotel gym you had to pay for and the indoor pool was not in use. Staff were not very personable, in fact quite rude. The food was not at all appetizing it resembled school din... Read more

Dated hotel which badly needs refurbishment. Staff friendly and efficient. Stayed B&B so can only comment on breakfast and which can only be described as cold. It was noisy on the 6th floor. Room clean and cleaners efficient and friendly.

This hotel was shocking. The restaurant was a franchise so no one cared at the hotel if it was good or not. The food was poor, most of the time eating Luke warm dishes. There is no bar and lounge to sit in the evening. Well there is one but it's locked up. You have to sit round the pool in plastic chairs, drinking everything out of plastic cups, even the coffee. And if you smoke, same cups with water in as ashtrays! Don't have tonic to go with gin!!! 50% of the lifts and toilets were out of orde... Read more

we stayed for 1 night. whilst waiting to check in a customer was shouting at the receptionist that 'nothing works'.....and then a 2nd person came down with the same complaint.....which meant my hubby demanded to view the room before we parted with any cash. room seemed fine, air-con isn't great and room was a bit worn-out but for 40 euros it was fine for one night room was facing the pool but we didn't experience too much noise

This place is definitely for the young looking for fun. I am 48 but felt 88 along side the other guests. Hotel was basic but served it's purpose. VERY noisy, music going till well into the early hours. If looking to go on a cruise around Gozo and blue lagoon don't book with hotel guide, it cost us at least 30 euro more than all the other places around and we were stuck on the boat from 11am till 6pm with the exception of a quick stop at blue lagoon ( beautiful but nothing to do ) .

I am honestly very careful when booking hotels and check everything on Trip Advisor and when we booked this, it had good reviews otherwise there is no way I would have stayed here!!! First vibe you get is that it's like a humongous hostel, dated decor and quite frankly looks like it needs a good cleaning. First room we were given, was very large in size but In a separate building. Where do I begin? Firstly, it's an actual key and not a magnetic card used for rooms and the electricity wouldn't w... It is what it is I suppose but you need to know that if you are disabled or middle aged this is not the place for you. For others the hotel is clean and the food is OK too. Plenty of space in the rooms but there is no traditional lounge with a bar in it. Instead there is a lobby reception area with machines which dispense water and soft drinks. People sit around staring into their smart phones (that's the only place the signal works).. The area around the hotel is a place where undesirables freq... Read more

Recently stayed at this hotel for a long weekend gettaway. The room was clean but very basic, the food was below average although the all inclusive drinks were what it says on the tin. The hotel is situated in a good position for all clubs and bars, everything comes to life around 8pm until well into the next morning. If your not to fussy about what you eat and you just need somewhere to get your head down after a night out then this is the place for you. Remember you get what you pay for.

My partner and I chose Blue Sea St George's Park for a number of reasons. Firstly, the location! It's located in the centre of Paceville so there are bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants just footsteps away! Even though there are nightclubs so close we didn't hear any noise from inside our room. Secondly, the rooms are nice! Ours was a great size, comfy beds, huge balcony, excellent water pressure! (Which is difficult in Malta) and overall just a nice room. It was nothing fancy but all basic necessi... Read more

The saying "you get what you pay for" hits the nail on the head... This hotel gets a seriously bad reputation but only from old stuck up coffin dodgers! If it was that bad then my boys wouldn't be booking for a 3rd year running. Foods not amazing no but it certainly isn't terrible. Hotel is clean enough and we didn't get sick other than booze related and that ain't the hotels fault... it was my mate Pickle's fault! Me and my partner stayed here for a week and the first thing I will say is: this is a cheap hotel! Very basic but it's in a great location to see the rest of Malta. The club strip is just over the road but with the doors closed and the AC and fan going you barely hear anything. Second: For around £2-300 for a week B&B do not expect fine dining, it's a simple fried breakfast or cereal set up every day (after 2 days we were fed up of sausage, scrambled egg and bacon) We didn't have lunch or din... This hotel would probably be great for a lads weekend or hen parties, as it is right in the middle of Paceville (party central of Malta). However for a couple staying for an activity fill two week holiday, it wasn't. There is only one key given per room, therefore people were knocking on the doors to be let into there room all hours of the night and you really have to slam the doors in order for them to shut. There was only 1 lift (out of 3) working at any one time and that was very temperament... Read more

We had a ground floor room (316) and after reading bad reveiws about noise from clubs we was a little bit confused to find no noise when the patio was closed. Also people mention the fan thats not good, but if u turn up the speed you dont need the air conditioning. Will be back!!

The food was good and always tasty the only criticism was the desert's were a bit samey. Out room was clean, large with a great view. Do not be put off by the negative reviews this is a good budget hotel and value for money.

For those into parties, it is 2 minutes walking distance from the main streets with clubs in St Julian. It was my worst accommodation ever. Even the room were the luggage were stored was moldy and sticky, and they did not give too much importance on who takes what .Technically you could steal anybodyâ??s luggage. The hotel looks like an old hospital and there is an old and moldy smell all over. The same issue was in the room where the smell ended up being chocking and all over the place. There ... Read more

Rooms nice and big fairly clean. Not cleaned well when you are there - our balcony was not touched the whole week and we had to call them back to clean the bathroom properly. The place was bit of a shock at 0400 in the morning. But once daylight appeared. And we had been out for the day. It wasn't as bad as first impression. If you need your sleep.Don't go there. You will need to shut doors & windows and it is passible. They party till 4am at least around the hotel. We only wanted the place to sleep at night You get what you pay for. We were only self catering and glad for the room we had. Could of been worse.
