Stayed here with a friend, mainly for a quick getaway from work. I could say this hotel offers a good comfortable night sleep with a huge and luxury rooms. Being politely greeted by a bellman upon check in, and have a swift check in. But we do have difficulties at first to locate the lifts area. I think if the hotel could put a clear signage for the guest rooms' lift, it would be better. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There was a shower area, with a separate toilet in the bathr... Read more

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has many varieties for us to choose and most of the dishes are nicely done. There were a few which were slightly salty but overall they have a very nice breakfast buffet. The swimming pool and gym at level 3 are fully equipped and towels are provided. However, sometimes the service is very slow and we had to call them to make up our room. Other than the slow service, the location of the hotel is very convenient with the links to nea... Read more

I almost gave this hotel a 4 stars review but I decided to downgraded a star because on my last night (I stayed for 4 nights quite happily until the following incident) because the hotel management locked me out temporarily from my room because they have not settled their bills with Traveloka (the website I used to check in. If you check in with Traveloka, we as customer have to be billed in advance and Traveloka doesn't accept unsettled bills. So I was booked and CHARGED by Traveloka immediatel... Read more

Wonderful stay in the utmost luxury - executive suite. Wonderful welcome with the sitting room full of flowers and bowls of lovely fruit. The beds were super comfortable and very spacious. What impressed was the training of the staff who were there for your every need. At breakfast which was sumptuous the floor manager seemed to have eyes in his back to make sure the guest had everything they were looking for . We had dinner on three occasions and the chefs provided the ultimate in gourmet m... Read more

We stayed 2 nights in a Club Deluxe room on the 10th floor. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel. The Club lounge is lovely with nice food and drinks although the drink service was slow at cocktail hour! But overall very good service. The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom clean and nice. Excellent shower with fantastic pressure. Breakfast was amazing! So much choice. Pool area is very nice. Modern yet exquisite rooms. The location is somewhat the pulling factor. You are linked to nearby major buildings and attractions with covered bridges and walkways. eCurve, The Curve, Tesco Mutiara Damansara, Ikano Centre, IKEA and Kidzania is within reach. Comfy beds with ample amenities (iron and ironing board, mini bar, toiletries and etc). An ideal property if you need to be near these area. Parking is free too!

A group of us friends did a self-drive trip from Singapore to Penang and decided to stop over in Kuala Lumpur for 2 nights on return journey. Royale Chulan Damansara is located jointed to the Curve Shopping Centre in Damansara at the fringe of Kuala Lumpur. Location is good as the hotel is linked to Curve where shopping is plentiful and eateries too. Ikea main store is also nearby, just next to the Curve. The hotel itself is just a plain hotel with comfortable room. There ain't much facilities a... Read more

Stayed 2 nights. Check in was slow. Don't understand why as we had confirmed reservation. Corridor to room always smelled of a sweet rotting fruit - not durian, maybe pineapple, but always made me sneeze & my eyes run every time I walked from lift to room - & that was a lot. Room was larger & lighter than expected. Good facilities but no bathrobe. Bathroom was large - separate WC in same area. No body lotion provided. Safe was big enough to take laptop & cameras. pros: - close to a shopping mall - Executive lounge staff was friendly and attentive - Executive loungs food selection during the day is good, and better compared to many other hotels I have stayed. cons: - Hotel feels not well maintained, e.g. dirty walls, even at the lobby floor, room has dirty carpet, gym equipment was broken or working only partially (problem was not fixed during my 3 weeks stay) - Elevators are horrible in the hotel. Although they are Schindler elevators, the hotel must h... Read more

The hotel is connected to The Curve shopping mall where you will find hundreds of restaurants catering to different cousins, department and specialty stores. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and each time Checking in is a very slow process. Typically there is only one person or two at the most when there are people waiting and you can see the rest of the staff behind the door having a chat instead of coming out to clear the line waiting. The hotel has a gym but all the treadmills needi... Read more

Other than being connected to a shopping complex with an excellent variety eateries and dining options, there are very few positives about the Royale Chulan Damansara. The floor that I was on was one of those that I would assume had been recently refurbished. However, very much of the "old" still remained such as: - poor wifi speed and connection - the use of very old bed linen and torn bath towels (see pix) - old lifts who's key card security feature on it works periodically - nice pool,... I stayed this hotel for business. The hotel is connected to the mall. Room: Spacious and simple. Clean. Basic amenities in the bath room. Service: The staff who attended me was friendly, but it seems the service is bit slow in general. Some guests were frustrated. Need some improvement on productivity. Wifi: Slow and quickly disconnected. Very bad for business tripper. Location: Good. Easy access to mall for dinner. This is option if I need to visit nearby area for business.

Very near to shopping malls, around 20 km from central city. The room was spacious, and comfort. Breakfast offer many menus, from western to local foods. The thing that need to be improved: the gym only open from 7 am to 9 pm. Can not have exercise before go to work, and the staff need to be more friendly, and proactive.

The first impression of the hotel is great, with pristine white decor and high ceiling with chandeliers at the lobby. Check in was fast and efficient and we were served welcome drinks as well. Room 302 - very convenient!/ Our room on 3rd floor, room 302 beside the lift, same level as the infinity pool, gymnasium and spa. Though privacy might be lacking if you open the curtains but we did not mind that. It was generally quiet until Sunday morning. 5 mins walk to Curve! The hotel ha... Read more

This is very convenient - 5 minutes walk to the curve, completely sheltered. Check in is efficient and fuss-free, with a welcome drink. Room 302 is next to the lift, the level where facilities are - infinity pool, gymnasium and spa. Even though there might be privacy issues, the noise was only on Sunday morning when the pool gets crowded. Otherwise, just draw the curtains and this issue will be resolved.

Took a bit of exploring to find ice skating area, also a playroom for children ?? however was quite shabby and not worth the fee. Check in slow, lifts seem to need servicing. You might be confuse between Royale Bintang & Royal Chulan Damansara. I would definitely recommend Royale Bintang The Curve. stayed there 1 night, check in at 10pm when the lobby are empty. the reception not really friendly, doesn't even bother to tell where is the lift to the room until I get lost and come back to reception, and apparently the way to lift is just right beside the reception. the room lack of lighting, very dark to do any work in the room. the toilet tiles is broken, the pillo... Wonderful points system for my hotel booking all the time. My family enjoyed staying in this hotel. Location was perfect, connected to the E, curve mall, nice ambience and pleasant room. I stayed at this hotel for a week and it was a very comfortable stay. The room service was very laid back and I learned that they have to be reminded of an order 4-5 times in an hour before they delivered it to you. Breakfast buffet was terrible. It is away from downtown and quite hard to get to on public transportation especially with luggage, I took a valet service the hotel offered from the airport. If you are looking for a short getaway and do not want to do much travelling, this is the hotel for you.
