This hotel was booked at short notice and we were very pleased with the Hotel. The rooms were a decent size and clean. The location was excellent an allowed us to walk to a lot of attraction such as the Georgetown street art. the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our short stay at this hotel and Its one we would recommend to those on a tight budget.

This hotel fits the bill for being strategically located, well appointed and clean. Staff were courteous, wifi was decent...and since we stayed on a weekday, parking was available. We took a family room with 2 queen beds. Room was smallish but adequate. Will recommend and stay again.

Every night is noisy with loud banging of doors or people chattering. Last night or actually early hours of 2nd May till 6am, a large group of Indians which looked like tourists talked and laughed loudly at the lobby. Eventually, I got some making noise at my door. There's no security. Anyone can take a lift and arrive at your door! Also, requesting new towels at 6 plus in the evening can only be done the next day! I realised the housekeeping don't replace towels. Simply fold the towels that we... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 5D4N and the experience was great! Managed to secure a family room with 2 queen size beds for 3 adults. This is quite a difficult requirement to fulfil as you look around for hotels in Penang, George Town. Generally, the staff here were friendly and helpful. The front-desk staff were efficient when checking in and did not hesitant to help when we faced some issue with the WIFI connection. The location was also great as it is within 10 minutes walking distance to 1st ave... Read more

This is our first family trip to Penang with 2 kids (11 and 8 years old). The first solo trip was almost 20 years ago. Trying to find a hotel that close to recommended food and attraction points. Finally, we decided Armenian Street Heritage hotel with a bit worry. However, it turn out to be so good that this hotel is located close to many recommended local food and tourist points. (What to eat and sighseeing will be added at lower half) The hotel is located at Carnavon Street which is also near... Read more

I have booked the hotel for 2 nights stay. The room overall is good, clean, comfortable. The location of the hotel is superb and easy access to local foods, cafes and murale painting. It is near to upside down museum too.

This is a relatively small hotel within walking distance of all of George Town's attractions and street food. There's a 24hr convenience store within the hotel. Don't use the taxi counter, use Uber - you'll still get ripped off, but you stand more chance of getting your money back. My room was comfortable with good air conditioning, safe and two bottles of water per day. There's free Wi-Fi but the signal is poor. Cleanliness was just about acceptable, my room had various strains on the walls an... Read more
