We chose this hotel based on the good reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. China town is nearby and local food choices is plentiful in the surrounding area, also you can get necessities like mineral water in the surrounding sundry shops especially for day outings to the parks. Plenty of cafes are opened in the evenings in the vicinity.

We stayed here for a couple of nights visiting Kuching and the surrounding area - great hotel to explore the city. The location is central, you'll reach the river promenade in 10 minutes. The area around the hotel is quite nice, authentic Malaysia, really feels more like a small town than the large city Kuching is. There are banks with ATMs in close vicinity, just ask the very helpful staff. Try the Hongkong Noodle House around the corner for a very good and yet cheap meal. The hotel offers la... Read more

We stayed there for our honeymoon in june 2015. It takes me one year to post my review. But I must say..despite the distance from riverfront one must stay for once in the Lime tree. The city view deluxe room was spacious. Bathroom was simple. Clean. The lime colour tone is soothing. A vast range on buffet breakfast offers you more than you want. All the item were fresh. Reception was too much helpful. I must must must recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed sitting on the 5th floor rooftop terrace which has a view of the river. Breakfast selection was very good and the staff friendly. My quibbles were the yellow stain on the bed sheet and the fire alarm which went off at 2 am.

I chose to stay here after reading great reviews on this hotel. Yes, the staff here are always smiling and friendly. But they may not have give good advice on the local attractions and the differences of the many shopping centres too. Their tour packages and transportation charge are even higher than all the major 5 stars hotel. We ended up going to Riverside Majestic or Suite Hotel to take local transport or shuttle bus which costs much less. Riverside Majestic Hotel also in a more central loca... Read more

I chose this hotel for my fiancée and I after reading the very positive reviews on Tripadvisor, however I have to say that I was slightly underwhelmed - mainly due to the rooms which were not cleaned properly and the fixtures and fittings which made everything look slightly dated. The main area of the hotel was nice, whilst the breakfast had a good enough selection. The location is also reasonable and serves as an ideal place to explore the city. After reading the amazing reviews here on TripAdvisor, I was tempted to book the hotel for my stay in Kuching. I was visiting Kuching for leisure and thought the good price, which included breakfast was a great deal. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was a bit disappointed because- 1. The room is extremely small. 2. The bathroom is tiny. 3. The noises from the road and corridor are so loud as if there was no barrier. I guess it's due to the thin glass, partitions, and door. 4. The bathroom is not... Read more

To begin with I think it is really important to remember this is a 3 star hotel and as such it is really good value for money but expectations must be realistic. Our executive room had a really large comfortable bed which could have the linen changed every day if you wished to. We were in room 308 which gave a view of the river and on the 5 July gave a great view of the fireworks erupting all over the city. We had a fridge, safe and plenty of hanging space in the wardrobe.
