The siling fan is very noisy. Although already request to fix it. Besides, the air-cond also not cool enough. P/S: I had changed room 1 times, end up, i just notice that every room might be same with conditions so i give up to change room again.

Going strong after so many years, lost track of the upgrades made. Standard tune hotel aside from ceiling cobwebs. Price is still the biggest factor, made booking 2 weeks earlier at rm99. Surrounding is better now with Parkson at maju junction. Quill mall is open but many holes still. monorail working.

Just stayed a night in the Tune Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. I booked a quick one night trip from Singapore to KL with Air Asia and got the room at the Tune Hotel through their website. The stay at the hotel was an eye openers. I paid about S$ 30 for a spacious and squeaky clean room with a very comfortable bed! The hotel advertised a power shower and I got one of those as well. The staff was very friendly and efficient, the public areas comfortable. San Francisco Coffee serves a good breakfast on the... Read more

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is a 5 minute walk from one of two KL Rapid Monorail stations and directly across the road from Parsons Department store that contains a modern supermarket and the best Food Hall in the whole of KL. A sizzling hot, fresh and tasty meal can be had from just MYR 8 or less than A$3. The hotel is in the heart of the city and very close to the vibe area around Petronas Towers. The hotels rooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom and toilets are also sma... Read more

During my 2016 visit to KL, I stayed once again at Downtown Tune Hotel for 45 days. Oh what a bliss!!. The staff as usual were very friendly, accommodating and extremely conscious of a weary traveller's needs. As regular maintenance were being carried, my rooms changes were made with a great deal of thought with no inconveniences. As usual the rooms were clean and well attended by house keeping and I found the environment very safe and secure. I would like to thank the new the new manager Benny ... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights before our flight back to London. When I booked I knew I wasn't getting 4-5 star quality, so I went with it being a 3 star. Firstly the staff are excellent, it may only be 3 stars but they treated us like a 5 star hotel would. We got our room quickly, view was amazing (we could see manera KL) . Room was however a bit small but it was OK for two of us, like I said what get what you pay for and we knew we wasn't going to get a a large room for the price we paid. T... Read more

Clean & tidy room. The room rates are reasonable, as you paid for what you need. Public space for readings and chit chatting is available at ground floor. Walking distances to monorail station and shopping malls. This hotel does not provide car park facility, but there is a small car park place that operated by others management service provider, with limited space and expensive too.

An average, not so good hotel. With small rooms and no intercom service. Water dispensers are on 2nd and 4th floor only. The staff has confusion between them. Our stay was for 2 nights but the keys stopped working on the 2nd day when we returned from our city tour and came to know that we have been checked out from the hotel. You have to go down to the reception for any issue. Not a premium hotel. The location of the hotel is good. The breakfast served was poor. Wi-fi didn't work. The hotel is ... Read more

First I am very unhappy about the hotel's reluctance to process the refund for double charging me ~ the customer service kept asking me for proof that they already have. Then about the stay, the TV reception was horrible (it was all noise); The TV remote was without batteries, and the toothbrush was missing from the add-on package carrier.

We had got a good deal through the Ramadan Offer with all inclusive (TV+AC+Wifi+Toiletry Kit) price of MYR 59 per day for 2 rooms. I had booked for an early arrival for extra RM15. Check Inn: Though we reached at around 10 AM, we could check in at around 11:15 AM. The check inn was smooth. Rooms: The rooms are tiny and just enough space for luggage and movement. Only stay at this hotel if you just need a bum a night and get a flight the next morning/if you've missed your flight. The hotel itself is nothing special, and the only area you're really going to get food at is the airport, which it is connected to. The hotel rejected our request for an extra sheet or blanket, even though there were two of us in the same room. What kind of hotel doesn't have an extra sheet? There were also no cups in the room and the room itself was SUPER minimal. Unless you ha... Read more

Tune Hotel at Downtown is a pocket friendly and is at central location in KL. attractions such as twin tower, Time Square KL Gallery, textile museum, china town are nearby this location. Staff is professional & friendly. However a few flaws are - 1. Water supply is only at 2nd and 4th floor which is quite inconvenient for guests staying in ... Read more

Positives- Great value for money- mid range hotel for price of budget hotel, rooms were small but clean and modern. Staff were friendly. Negatives- On a very busy street, lots of noise from traffic through the night- bring ear plugs. We ran out of toilet paper and had to go down to reception as they have no telephone to call reception. It would have been good if the toilet paper had been replenished at the start. First up, always remember that you're getting what you paid for. The rooms are small, the bathroom is smaller, and the walking space in the room is well, really small. Other than that, the service was good and the location in between 2 rail stations made it a good point to travel from. Taxi drivers & Uber drivers alike knew the address without difficulty. My room was awful. The one night stay I endured here was enough! Blocked drain, gaping hole in bathroom ceiling, dirty floors! I don't know why Tune KL Downtown cannot deliver value and comfort! Booked 3 rooms for 1 night stay. The staff were friendly throughout. My only issue was the air conditioning was not working throughout the entire floor. We did receive compensation from the manager who was very friendly and attentive, but if the rooms do not have the air conditioning working they should not be available to be booked. Arrived at Tune from KL airport. It was a very hot day so the air conditioning was very welcome! The staff were very friendly, but we had to pay a bit extra to check-in early as check-in wasn't until 2pm which seems quite late. We also had to pay for wifi in our room, but we only did it for one day and then just used the cafe below whilst we drank our morning coffee. This hotel was pleasant enough. Handy to KLIA2, comfortable bed, good shower. Clean and easy. However not even to provide drinking water in the rooms! I came after a very long flight, 2 in the morning. Tired and thirsty. Got to room and no water. Asked at reception and was told to go to the next door 7/11 to buy some. Every hotel even the most basic backpackers I"ve stayed in provides water!!!

The hotel is located in downtown Kuala Lumpur, with easy access to the major shopping malls, restaurants, the monorail and LRT station. I was in town for the Standard Chartered Marathon Kuala Lumpur 2016 and this was the nearest the starting area - 5 minutes walk in fact. Rooms: You get what you pay for. Even though I reserved a double bed, I feel the bed can only fit a person and a half. The room is clean and sheets smell free. The AC only can go as high as 20 degrees so if thats too cold for you, use the huge ceiling fan above.
