I'd seen mixed reviews for this hotel which made me a bit worried before going to the place. I think everyone needs to consider that this is an average 3 may be 4* hotel, hence expectation should be reasonable. If you want the services of a 5* hotel, you should pay 5or 6 times more and go somewhere else. Personally I found the hotel very comforting, reasonable, clean and with no problem. In fact the services offered are well above my expectation of an average hotel. The location is excellent at ... Read more

A good hotel with an excellent location. 5 minutes walk to the great shopping centres and restaurants of KL. The hotel is clean, quiet and the service is good. The breakfast is good with a chef making fresh eggs to suit your needs.

Recently stayed here. Great location. Paragon food court downstairs is great. Plenty to do close by. Hotel great value for price. Close to monorail. Breakfast adequate. I'd go back for sure. January 2017

Hotel Room is fine. Hospitality is not that great (2.5/5) (only exemption is the chief chef, who was very friendly and even allowed us to make a meal for the baby (Indian style) . Break-fast is typical KL style (as I am from India, could be taste difference). Veg folks don't have much option (survive with breads and juice ;P Nobody understands what is curd if you're a curd lover be prepared - though you can get it from nearby Sungei Wang mall.). Location is good: there are many hot spots nearby ... Read more

The rooms size are ok however the bathrooms flood when you shower. I can't understand why all hotels in Malaysia have plumbling problems and we stayed are a number of well know hotels on our trip. The housekeeping staff had problems understanding the problem with the bathroom or maybe they just did not care. Breakfast was the most terrible meal of the day considering that the food in the area is tasty. Make sure you clarify with reception on the number of devices you can use with the wfi con... Read more

Hotel Royal Kuala Lumpur is a worthy hotel. Positives : 1. The location are very near to Sungei Wang Mall and Lot 10, very great. 2. Clean and new renovated room. 3. Efficient lobby design. 4. The price is worthed. Negtives : 1. The hot water need a long time to be warm, it's quite annoying. 2. Breakfast is actually very good, but lack of variation day by day.

Stayed for 4 days for New Year in KL, from 30th of December to 2nd of January 2017. along with my family and my mom's friends. It's better than I thought it would be. I got the newly renovated room on the 18th floor, which was nice, standard deluxe room, which sadly was the only type of room available at the time.. But it's okay, we can still sort it out nicely with extra beds. The sheets are a bit dusty though, and my bedcover are holey.. Although it was replaceable. No problem with the bat... Read more

Room that we got were newly renovated and clean, toilet is spacious. On my 2nd day, there's no hot shower, however, they are quite efficient to rectify the problem fast. Just to take note, they don't provide toothbrush, unless you request for it. But I'm quite happy that they provide iron & ironing board. Unfortunately, food at the restaurant is not to our liking & are limited, so we had our meals outside the hotel which is quite convenient.

Nice hotel in top location. Good lifts big rooms and huge beds. Mins walk to Pavillion and right next to Monorail. Next to Lot10 which has one of KL's best food courts. I tried it and was impressed. Only negative is the poor Wi-Fi.
