We stayed for 2 nights at the 5 Elements hotel in KL. Located adjacent to the vibrant Chinatown market area and a minute's walk to Petaling street, this hotel provides a decent stay option in KL. The rooms are spacious and you could get interconnecting rooms for large families. Breakfast is basic but tasty. You walk out of the hotel and are into the hoards of street food vendors, restaurants. There is a 24 hour Supermarket too for everything a traveler would need. The staff is helpful too.

3 star standard definitely guaranteed. This hotel is really good located and does not have any serious issues. Breakfast is decent. Rooms are clean. No bed bugs. Highly recommended. Close to Downtown and the bus station is 3 minutes walk.

Hotel was fine, breakfast was also good but one problem which I have faced very badly which is that there is no hotel boy on that hotel. When we are checking in on the hotel I was looking for boy and they said there is no hotel boy there so either I have to carry my luggage to the room or something else. Suddenly the man on the reception, he said he'll carry our luggages to the room what an wonderful man he is! I was hesitate to give him the luggages but he was very kind and he did that. But at ... A wonderful hotel, tucked into Chinatown. I stayed in a twin room, for one night only but would have stayed longer. The entrance is bright and roomy, staff are very helpful and life access is easy to each floor. The twin room was clean and tidy, the bathroom and shower were great and I had an amazing view from the huge window! Breakfast was good too. Really can't fault the stay, the location is so close to the street food and markets of Chinatown while the station into KL central was within... Read more

Bed is clean, there's running water, very friendly staff. And free wifi!!! Fully recommended for budget stay. I just love this clean and budgeted hotel. Cool location - a little away from the Petaling street crowd but still so close to all the happening,

We had two different kind of service. In the main lobby, the receptionists were always very quiet, not so friendly at all. They didn't make any effort to make us feel any better as the monsoon rain made us wet that time we first arrived to hotel. They hardly greeted us, took our 50 rinngit deposit not even telling us what was it for! We needed to ask ourself about the deposit and they didn't even tell us in which floor our room was - we needed to ask all this normal information. And we decided ... Read more

Stayed in a group, A good hotel in a perfect location for local kulinary (street food). Even got the perfect oloiya within walking distance...lol. in room Wifi was super good. Love it. Breakfast was good too. Room was actually clean and nice but unfortunately I got a spotty cover like an oil spot on my bed. Apart from a "grumpy no smile at all" female reception upon check in and a spot on my bed, overall was a good hotel to stay in chinatown. .

In Chinatown KL, this hotel stands out as one of the best. It is the tallest around the Chinatown vicinity. The lobby have a wide space to move around and is clean too. There are 2 counters at the lobby where you can purchase bus tickets to Singapore. If you are interested to travel around, you can enquire and even book the tours there. It is only a 5 minutes walk to Chinatown where you can do your bargain hunting. When evening comes, there are plenty of food stalls along the road where you can... Read more

A well located hotel in China town. Close to street food and shopping. Easy walking distance to many interesting places. The hotel room was clean and tidy,. The staff were uninterested, lacked interaction with guests. Breakfast was terrible. Mostly frozen foods deep fried! No chef to prepare fresh food. Only white bread, no pastries or yoghurt. Juice was not fresh. Fruit consisted of two types of melon. If you don't eat melon, no fresh fruit! I tried calling house keeping and reception for c... Read more

We booked this as a filler hotel for one night and we were glad to be off to our next place. This is a solid 3 star hotel. It's in need of a good spruce up in the rooms with lots of wear and tear in the furniture and carpets. Our rooms smelled very strongly of cigarettes despite being a non smoking floor. The location for Chinatown and central market was fantastic! This hotel is what it is so we were happy with what we got for the price but i won't be rushing back!
