Nice reasonably priced hotel. AC, fridge, TV, friendly staff. Rooms are generally clean. Rooms could be loud when the window goes out to night market. Thin walls. Night market is directly outside when leaving the restaurant. Breakfast is not so good.

Stayed at this hotel for 8 nights, and although it states it's a three star, felt much better. The room we were staying in had large windows and we could not hear the market noise, the place was also very clean and was cleaned daily! The breakfast was also very good, although they served the same breakfast each morning. The location for this hotel was ideal, within easy reach of the city amongst other sites. The only one thing that was frustrating was the lifts, it was like a sauna in there ... Read more

This budget hotel located exactly at the heart of Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur, and also easily accessible from the Merdeka Square and surroundings. Lots of foods in front of the Hotel day and night, and the hotel itself is really interesting. They have 2 main doors, where 1 directly connected to the cafe that open for the public, while the other one connected to the receptionist. We stayed at the 4th floor and we have to go through 2 elevators before we reached our floor, our guess is it's the ol... Read more

This hotel is a small oasis in the otherwise bustling Chinatown of KL. The hotel is spacious, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there is a restaurant on site where you can relax and watch the action on Petaling street. We only had the buffet breakfast, and it was great! Staff is friendly and helpful!

In this hotel in the middle of Chinatown you'll get good value for money. Our room was clean and quiet (no streetnoise at all, but could hear loud guests at the room next door). Got fresh water every day. We used the same day laundry service, very handy and not expensive. Breakfast is good, there is a buffet with lots of choice. Staff is very very friendly!

It is situated just outside of Chinatown, and opposite The 5 Elements Hotel. Swiss Inn can be accessed from outside Petaling Street, or in the Street itself, via the Cafe Petaling. The inn looks dainty and simple from the outside, but inside woah, huge and quite neat with a hint of glam in it.

I had to travel while in Malaysia and didn't want to take all my luggage with me. The hotel crew kept it there for me for 5 days and on my return they provided a resting room for me to have shower, change and rest before I leave. It was amasing! I felt like a true guest rather than being just a tourist, a number for them. Besides, room I stayed was comfortable, clean and hotel crew is super nice and polite. Will definitely stay there again.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the midst of Chinatown. Most important things are within walking distance. The hotel is also close to the LRT, so makes transportation hassle-free. The hotel staff were very courteous. The room was clean and very quaint. The bathroom was also spotless. They provide plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, etc, so you don't have to rush to the restaurant or order room service. The restaurant is also quite spacious and pretty. I've stayed at this hotel, off and on, for more than 15 years. It's certainly not great but there's something about it that always makes me feel very comfortable. I've stayed at about 10 other hotels in or around Chinatown and I've found you usually get just about what you pay for. This place appeals to me because it's well-situated in Chinatown....but very quiet. It's always clean and the management (which has changed many times) is always friendly, honest and helpful. We usually stay in budget hotels when travelling, and we assumed this was going to be one with the price we paid, however it definitely is not. It's in a perfect location and is welcoming, friendly and feels like a very expensive hotel. We stayed in this hotel for 4 days, the staff was very helpful, rooms are clean. Terrific location if Petaling Street Night Market is on your list of things to see and do. For the price we paid $40USD via Booking.com, we got an absolute bargain especially as the price included a very filling buffet breakfast. We should have requested a Non-smoking Room as there was a smokey odour and ashtrays in the room but it was for one night and not too bad. The bathroom is quite small, just enough room for washbasin, toilet and shower but again, for the price, no complaints. Little ... Read more

This is a budget hotel located in China Town. the rooms are adequate but when I pulled the curtain back to look out the window I discovered that there was no window. there is a restaurant on site which is passable. I was disappointed to see some cockroaches in one of the hallways in the accommodation area, but this doesn't compare to the rats I've seen at another hotel in Bangkok or at an upmarket restaurant in Washington DC. the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Right in the streets of Chinatown, walk out the restaurant door after your great buffet style breakfast into the Petaling Street Market. We booked for a family of four, getting a family room for a low rate, and were given two rooms, interconnecting. Newly refurbished rooms, bright and modern. Small ensuite, who cares? Good sheets, pillows, towels and beds. Also amazingly quiet! I really recommend this one as great value and location. Breaks was delicious, lots of options too.

We have stayed at this hotel on three occasions and enjoyed each one. Rooms are of an average size for Asia, but still manage to fit in all the necessary items including a large screen television. Room attendant was especially pleasant and helpful. Front desk staff quickly overcame a reservation mix-up and resolved it to our satisfaction. The buffet breakfast is a mix of European/Asian and is replenished constantly.
