It's obvious to any one who comes, dines or spends a night in this hotel why Obama would choose it as his sojourn in Nairobi. The hotel investors choose location over space & went an extra mile to add the dazzle. The rooms are well appointed though not as spacious with a superb bed, a good TV systems in case you choose to lazy in the room & multiple dining experiences ranging from Italian to contemporary choices. Gym lovers you won't be disappointed & the trainers are spot on. Enjoy jacuzzi, sau... Read more

I have the Rosa Collection membership which among other benefits includes a complimentary stay at one of their deluxe rooms. So for the weekend, we checked in after having booked the room well in advance. The room is incredibly well done, the bed is heavenly, complimentary fruit bowl. Everything was just perfect. The staff were more than willing to assist. Their hearty breakfast is marvelous with a bewildering array of choices to pick from. I would highly recommend the Villa Rosa Kempinski to ... Read more

Highly priced Arrogant staff!!! Poor service!! Belly dancer was the only thing that was half way decent. Limited coal refills and don't even try and ask to change your shisha head - that leads to you meeting the entire staff as No decision makers are hired! Avoid ! Plenty of other places that would happily take your money with a smile. No drivers for valet parking! How did they get the Kempinski brand! I am stumped!!!

As part of Kempinski chain, this hotel maintains the high standards with ease. Customer service is prompt and courteous. Loved the breakfast buffet's endless choices! I also appreciated the security which I know is not universally liked.

After a long flight, we were greeted by our driver arranged by the hotel. He was friendly and gave knowledgeable information about the area. He also protected us from a crowd of people who were proposing various help for money in the parking lot of the airport. It would have been very confusing and overwhelming for us. Other staff members are equally warm, helpful, and friendly.

Stayed at the Villa Rosa Kempinski recently and I can't say that the hotel met my expectations. Upon check in, we had to request for someone to help us carry our luggage and show us to our room. This request was grudgingly granted. The room was small however the bed was comfortable. We had the option of a buffet dinner but what we got was not buffet at all. Dinner experience was very disappointing with a very limited selection. The hotel did not live up to expectations. On a positive note, the ... Read more

Thai Food - Authentic Ambiance is good. Service is excellent. Compared to other Thai restaurants I have been to the veggies are a little underdone. Spinach also - the veins seem to be hard. The green curry was good but the veggies a bit underdone.

Thank you Villa Rosa Nairobi for such a pleasant stay. The security is top notch, however the staff at the gate entrance are abit too stoned face bearing in mind that they dog search, it's abit scary. Rooms are clean and specious, the wifi excellent. Not forgetting the friendly staff all round. Thanks to the young man who checked me in on the 13th night (sorry l can't remember his name), he really made me and my husband feel special. The breakfast is out of this world, it's unbelievable, I've tr... Read more

We went to the shisha lounge and the stuff were not nice nor friendly. I think they are racist towards Muslim ladies. They refused to give us a seat and that the area was full when actually empty. We did say we were happy to vacate once the people that reserved the table arrived. Luckily a nice Muslim man said he didn't mind sharing his area with us and even with that they still didn't want us to. The gentleman was asked a few times by different stuff and he said he was fine. The place isn't che... Read more
