The hotel looks nice and has some good facilities. But unfortunately it has some bad management that ruins the experience. Managing director yelling is not something you want to experience at a hotel. So yes I was happy at first and planed to have a lot of people coming there, but now I'm moving across the street.

Meridian is such a nice place, we had planned to do our high fashion event at the place. However the Executive Director was very mean and he clearly shouted at me. This came after they gave the room we were supposed to hire to another group. How you treat your client is very important. Kindly improve on that.

I showed up at the Meridian late one night, exhausted and crabby, because Kenya Airways had just canceled my flight and the airline booked us here. I was amazed. And the service was incredibly sweet -- in my daze, I left a flashlight in the room and realized this a day later. Housekeeping found the flashlight and saved it for me until I returned !

I was on a flight to the Comoros that was delayed forcing us to stay at your hotel and while I found the hotel charming and the facilities adequate I was appalled at the treatment of staff, management in fact by one of the director. Irresepective of what may be happening behind the scenes, it is in extremely poor taste for anyone to refer to another by what was clearly a racist reference and demean them in full view of guests. The director whose name I found out was Vikers, insulted a senior mem... Read more

We just stayed for a night after flying in to Nairobi and checked out early morning after breakfast. So our stay was very short. Room rate was reasonable for a night stay as the better reviewed hotels were much more expensive. Room was comfortable and bath room was clean and modern. Breakfast was decently spread and service was good. So no complaints whatsoever but again, our stay was way too short to know anything more.
