We just stayed for a night after flying in to Nairobi and checked out early morning after breakfast. So our stay was very short. Room rate was reasonable for a night stay as the better reviewed hotels were much more expensive. Room was comfortable and bath room was clean and modern. Breakfast was decently spread and service was good. So no complaints whatsoever but again, our stay was way too short to know anything more.

We stayed at Meridian hotel in the April of 2016. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. We found the rooms to be of a good size with comfortable beds, air conditioned, great service and delicious food. The hotel is very central in Nairobi city centre. We stayed with a 3 and a 4 year old who were very comfortable and happy and staff were very polite and welcoming. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Nairobi.

Have stayed at this hotel 2 times during the past 3 months. Service is warm but age is catching up with the hotel. It seems its glorious days are slipping away with fierce competition from new hotels that are coming up in Nairobi. However, management is doing their best to improve and modernise the hotel. At the time of my visit, the pool was closed for renovations.

I had a 3 night stay Meridian the cheeking is spot on. The room is very small but very clean. The shower had enough pressure no problem at all. Most of all Meridian stand out becouse of the location everything you need around the corner and a walking distance. The staff is well presented and they do there job with a great profession. The price is not that expensive. I will stay again Meridian if i come back.

From the time they have greeted me until I've checked out, I felt like I was home away from home. The in house restaurant severed all types of cuisine (The indian food rocked!), the lobby staff was friendly. I'd definitely stay at this hotel again! I can't complain especially with their awesome rates.

Our MD David stayed two nights here on business and these are his comments: "Initially I was very disappointed as the pool, spa and gym were under maintenance and therefore unusable. As these facilities were a main pull of the Meridian, and nowhere on the website explained the maintenance issues, I complained, and the issue was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I raised the problem an hour after checking in, and Patrick the duty manager was apologetic but said I would need to wait until... Read more

My family and I booked Meridian not expecting much given its 3* rating. However we were pleasantly surprised that they surpassed our expectations on all accounts and provide 5 star service in every way. Their rooms may be a bit small but clean with modern amenities and design. Their buffet breakfast and food is amazing. To top it off they offer the best value for money with their competitive pricing. Their staff especially Patrick..Gertrude..Emmanuel and John were super helpful and took very goo... Read more

I happened to be in this hotel on a transit, flying by Kenya Airways, last week. The hotel is in a centralized location. The food is good and restaurant was very busy. I was told that the hotel is very busy everyday. The room was very cozy...especially in the cold weather outskirts. The service was very good, and the staffs were always on their toes...i think because the Managers are always around in the Restaurant, Reception Lobby area, bars, etc. The hotel belongs to Indians, but the buffet fo... I stayed overnight. Check in was efficient. The room was clean and well appointed. I was disappointed that they did not have CNN on their television channels. The food from room-service was excellent, particularly the Asian dishes. I recommend the tandoori chicken, mutton Rogan Josh and naan. Room service staff were attentive and gave prompt service. They fussed about taking a wine glass to the room and were wanting to retrieve the glass even while the meal was not finished. They seem short of w... Read more

Nothing much to say, just a good 4 -star service. They are very efficient and there's always a smile on their face. The food is superb and the bedroom is comfortable. It would help if they could retune the heater and increase the temperature limit tho.

We booked the hotel by reviews and it turned out something else. Not even a 3 star property. Rooms are very small. Over looking some other buildings and lanes. Food was just ok. Wifi didn't work. With help of staff somehow managed to work. Breakfast was horrible. House keeping was good. Cleanliness was there. One lady personally came to check whether all ok or not, but basically below everage hotel.

We hosted a one-day conference at this venue and our guests were accommodated at the hotel. The service was excellent all around. The dinner was delicious, the breakfasts were adequate but not exceptional; and the rooms were comfortable. The conference venue was well-equipped. The only negatives were that the wifi dropped from time to time and the check-in and check-out process took very long.

I had gone for ICT EXPO and stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Hotel is OK OK. Interior is fine. amenities are fine. but room size is small and we had paid a little more for it. So if we had paid a little less than it would have been the perfect deal. Location is good. food in nice. staff is good specially their finance manager shailesh. Rooms are clean but their is problem with hot water. sometimes you get hot water sometime you not. overall an average hotel with good amenties.

We had one night here in between our Safari and found it average. The room was clean and equipped with everything, but very small! It was also incredibly noisy. The hotel has a lot of echo ! They only have one restaurant choice, but they do have a cute bar with a pool table. There is security upon entering. Staff nice. Wifi intermittent.

The Hotel is very central and close to the CBD which is what I needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price is relatively cheap compared to other hotels in the area. Overall the experience was positive, the rooms are nice, fairly modern and clean, if not hugely spacious. The food (room service) was generally good, reasonably priced with good portions. I stayed here for two nights in September. The rooms are nice, I booked the first night ahead of time and the second night was a walk in because I had been in Maasailand with no signal. The hotel is located just outside the central zone of Nairobi--about a 15 minute walk with a good map. It is also about a 15 minute walk from the National Museum and Snake Farm. However, we were warned not to walk at night in the neighborhood, a common warning thought out Nairobi. The concierge provides good service in obtaining taxis and arranging tours. This hotel has just recently come into the Best Western group. A very nice looking hotel both externally and internally. The staff couldn't have been nicer - they were very professional and friendly right down to the security man lifting the outside gate. The restaurant was good and had a good choice of food. Our room was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

This is a good place to stay, though nothing special. It has quite an odd, sort of gaudy decoration to the place. The food is fine and the service is decent. The rooms are a good size.
