I visited this room and had the worst time ever ...the rooms are extremly dirty.the toilets are a hygiene disaster ..the sorrounding is too loud ..the price is not worth the pay. The rooms have no extra sockets were to charge your phone . On a positive note ..the staff were friendly and the buffet was exceptional

We were waiting for the night bus to Mombassa and had a few hours to kill so came here for some food. There was a good local vibe and the food was very reasonably priced. The waiters were quite formal. We were there in the evening and there seemed to be lots of couples on dates! The bar was busy.

I came here twice for lunch. Once I ordered sirloin steak, it was supposed to come with gravy sauce but it didn't. Then I asked staff about the sauce and he served me something looking like sauce which turned out that it's just soup.. I was very disappointed. Otherwise, staff were friendly and nice to me. Just food is mot so high quality..

This hotel has some history to it, I was told. From the outside it's not very easy to locate the entrance but once you find it, the lobby is quite okay. It was good that they had a currency exchange right there at the reception. There are other hotels in the city center that are not as expensive, so I guess there is no trump card with the location :( The service at the restaurant was okay. The bathroom was okay too and there was hot water :) It's quite difficult to tell the exact class this hot... Read more

Very welcoming staff, helpfull and smiling. I had a superior room on the 5.floor, The room was ok, but the bathroom was terrible as u can see of my pic. Stayed ther for 2 Nights. The location is good, a little noicy but not more then u can expect. I payed 6000 kes a night, maybe a little overprised compared to what u get, but ok.

The hotel is quite old, and is expensive compared to the room and amenities you get. They dont even have a toothpaste or a shampoo ready. But the staff are nice. Their breakfast is good but doesnt have variety (we ate the same breakfast for three days) and it is located near a bus stop so there is beeping noise all throughout the night. Definitely not for light sleepers. They keep it as clean as they can but thaat can only do so much given the hotel is really quite old.

Everything about The Ambassadeur Nairobi is creepy, except the entrance. Gives the feeling that there are ghosts haunting through the whole hotel, with televisions without movie channels, telephones that do not work, toilet seats that feels like knives, baths with Jewish fingernails inside and showers that do not work. Walls that are broken and ovens to fill up complete wholes on the outside - this is how the hotel Ambassadeur scares you. Do yourself a favor and stay out. The place is filled wit... Read more

the hotel room is good the bath room is ok though some times there is no hot water. the food is ok . The place is clean and nice. They charge 3500 kenya shillings per night with bed and breakfast included. Its located in the heart of nairobi so it easy to link with were ever you what to go. The wifi does not work so come prepaired with your internet.

Stayed three days before and after safari. Good location in central Nairobi and OK rooms but the rest was not a thrilling experience. Had dinner one night and it was very poor, room service went to the wrong room, terrible noise all night and the wifi didn't work at all. Breakfast was OK. I'll stay somewhere else next time in Nairobi.
