Hotel is situated, of course on Dead Sea. I find the pool areas and walkways quite appealing. It's quite the walk down to the sea, but it's worth it. Needless to say, we all know the healing benefits of floating in this peculiar body of water. The life guard was soso attentive, I wouldn't depend on him for my life... . Hotel is situated, of course on Dead Sea. I find the pool areas and walkways quite appealing. It's quite the walk down to the sea, but it's worth it. Needless to say, we all know the healing benefits of floating in this peculiar body of water. The life guard was soso attentive, I wouldn't depend on him for my life... . Facilities were close to non-existent along the shore-line, but it did not prevent us from enjoying the water , the mud provided and it's benefits. As Diamond members we get free upgrades. They accomodated us with a decent suite. However, the noise was unbearable. Some wedding. We moved. Then we moved again. Same noise coming from the wedding. Our final destination was a large suite, forgot exact name, but it was one below Presidential, away from all the ruckus and was a game changer. Honestly, management tried hard to make us happy. The morning upon departure I left a cosmetic pouch behind in the dressing area of the ladies locker room at the spa. Immediately, upon return in my room ( 10 minute walk) I phoned the staff on site, was informed they would call me right back. This is where my experience with this property takes a more than bad turn. I never heard back from anyone. I phoned time after time, telling them, I need my belongings back, we are leaving hotel in less than an hour.. I even got front desk mgmt involved, who also called spa staff. Mind you, the contents of the pouch were at a value of close to 1000 USD, Christian Dior, Chanel, Rubinstein, lots of goodies, you name it. My mistake , but why did they not call back? I was THE ONLY PERSON in the locker room at the time when entered and left , i called within 10 minutes when i returned to my room... , it was very early in the morning? Our flight was leaving in a few hours, we were ready for check out, I finally walked all the way back to the spa, (missed breakfast) , 10 min walk , to the spa. Found same staff present. 2 gentlemen. Telling me , no female staff to check for my belongings as they can't enter ladies locker. Hmmmm, when I was there earlier, it was indeed a female attendant who showed me the sauna. The 2 gentlemen behind the desk told me they could not check if the pouch was there, because they were not allowed to enter. Lol, really. Soooo, ....where was that female attendant from 1 hour ago? I took it upon myself, and just entered the ladies locker, and guess what. Nobody in there, except for my pouch with all the expensive contents I mentioned at the very exact spot where I had left it. It stood out like a sore thumb. On the empty plain seats in the middle of an empty locker room. After 1 + hour it was still there., yet nobody had bothered going in and letting me know. and conveniently, the same lady, who had led me to the ladies locker earlier, miraculously appeared a second later out of nowhere.. clueless... where was she the past hour? ....If it was up to me , I'd fire that person, it's quite obvious what was going on here. I have traveled too far, stayed in too many places, not to know any better. The reason why this property still gets 4 starts: Management corrected the situation accordingly in a swift move upon check-out. That's what made all the difference. Get rid of that spa staff. Useless and dishonest. If you choose to go the spa. Watch your belongings, because if you leave it, good luck to ya, wouldn't wann be ya.
