We have stayed their for 3 days and the facilities are basic to it your budget with amazing experience. They have nice roof top restaurant with nice organised room. Specially Raymond has groomed all the staff quite well and you can expect a warm welcome and you have been nicely taken care during your stay. The Breakfast is nice which accommodate all in bits and pieces so end of the day you do not have any complain. We are stay was very pleasant and with good memories.

Stayed in Amman for a night at the Amman Pasha Hotel. The rooms are basic and clean, the staff were always willing to help and friendly, and there is free wifi downstairs in the lobby or in the hotel cafe. It is directly across from the Roman Amphitheater which is worth a check out. It is also close to the Citadel which can be accessed via stairs close by and has amazing views of downtown Amman.

Amman Pasha hotel review. I spent a terrible night here. Every few minutes there was a loud banging on the wall which I think was noise from the elevator transmitted through the wall. This went on until about 1 a_m when people stopped moving around. They moved me to a different room wich was better, but still I was unable to sleep due to the noise. In addition, the mattress on the bed was as hard as wood. Whenever I lay on 1 side that side would hurt and become numb. Therefore I was rolling o... Read more

Thumbs up to Jaffar who is so nice, accommodating and friendly. And of course to Baba George who is such a fun to be with. My 3 day journey with him will be forever treasured in my heart and memory bank. He treated me like his own daughter. He is a very patient man. I highly recommend him as your tour guide/driver if you plan to see Jordan's beautiful and historic places.

Our first night in Amman we stayed at this hotel. Thank goodness for great reviews by other people because we wouldn't have found this gem otherwise. The staff is so incredibly helpful and kind and were the perfect introduction to the kind and welcoming people of Jordan. The family room we stayed in was perfect for 4. As a female first time solo traveller, I was very nervous, but everyone at Amman Pasha Hotel made me feel at ease, always asking how I was? Was I happy? Did I enjoy my day? My room was clean, double bed, a very comfortable bed, mirror, yes ladies a mirror, view of the Roman theatre from my bed, hot water at all times, the view from the terrace simply amazing, with the rabbits and little ducks brought a smile to my face. I had no problems with noise from outside, in fact I loved listening to what... Read more

Checking out the Romans ruins at night we could see the advertisement for this rooftop bar in the near distance, so we checked it. The view is great but the rest is quirky. The nice owner has a bird cage with a rescued rare hawk and several little critter walking around like rabbits. The 6-8 flights of stairs walk up has graffiti lined walls with happy comments from tourists and visitors. Not so sure I'd stay here, but worth taking a few moments out of your time to check out the rooftop.

Spent a couple of days (and one night here) recently. It was a great experience. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the service is excellent. It was a joy to stay here. The room was a good size but a bit old and tired. The floor in the bathroom also could have done with a better clean and there is no wifi in rooms (only in the reception and restaurant / bar area) but given the price it was acceptable. I moved here and stayed 2 weeks after moving from another hotel infested with insects nearby. Though this hotel is geared towards Western tourists. it manages to balance it with local charm, and a friendly service. The room was good value considering the location near in the old town and had air conditioning, a TV and was quiet. Breakfast was varied enough with both Western and Arabic dishes. Basic hotel but clean and the food is good although a little pricey. The staff in the hotel were extremely helpful. However beware of the tour organiser Marwan as he overcharged us when we arranged a car to Petra. Having agreed quite an expensive rate we were ready to set off at 9.30 in the morning. When we went downstairs he said he had agreed that a 'poor student' would travel with us for free. This was news to us!! My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in July 2016. One day visiting Amman, one day visiting Jerash. Very nice, helpful people. Breakfast was nothing spectacular, but it was fine. Very nice rooftop terrace with great view over Amman. They also serve typical Jordan food here. Room was very basic, but clean. In general: we recommend this place because of the excellent value for your money. The friendly environment the staff created, made us always feel very welcome.

We booked two nights at the Amman Pasha hotel after reading all the great reviews on trip advisor, and I don't know what all the fuss is about. Our room was not clean, with shabby finishes and broken furniture. The restaurant next door was awful, none of the food was made fresh. And breakfast had a very limited selection. The hotel was great! Marvelous low cost alternative. The employees were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The room came with complimentary breakfast, which made it even better. Our driver, Ramzi Hajjarh, was amazing. He really made the trip a success. He was very friendly, and helpful, and knowledgeable. He explained the sites; as well as providing interesting background info. He also told us about lower cost options regarding some of the sites we wanted to go to. Ramzi also prepared a wo... We stumbled across this place accidently as we needed to stop for a drink and it was a great find! The staff are so friendly, the atmosphere is so chilled and the owner has a great story to tell (see below picture). We had shisha and snacks and felt so relaxed and welcome. The views are also great and the animals roaming free are a bonus lol. Will definitely return!!!

I loved this hotel! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home. The staff were lovely and gave us advice on where to go. The rooms were good, and the view from ours was fantastic. Great location in downtown amman. The hotel organised a tour for us to jerash with "crazy" George and he was so interesting. Not only did he have lots if interesting stories for us, he also made us feel like his guests and friends! Definitely recommend taking a tour with him! The roof terrace ... Read more

We stayed 3 nights in the Amman Pasha Hotel at the beginning of our travels through Jordan. The location is perfect and most places of interest are within easy walking distance. There might be better maintained and more stylish hotels in Amman, but I don't think that you will find a better atmosphere anywhere. The roof top terrace is wonderful, from which you have splendid views of the Roman Theatre and i The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is due to them that we could share the taxi ri... Read more

It's a nice, little building located in the middle of downtown Amman. It's run by a group of interesting people who are extremely helpful and kind. The hotel is 15 minutes walk away from Rainbow Street, which is very convenient. They have a rooftop cafe/restaurant with a stunning view of the amphitheater. Recommended for those looking for a comfortable budget stay and nothing fancy.

Feras is the Reservations & Assistant Manager who once again gave me a room with a city view, and is so efficient! He always responds to my emails quickly! Jafar is the Hotel Manager who does a fabulous job making sure everything is done and he visits with the guests ~ who really are like family ~ to find out how we are doing and what we have seen,... This review is strictly for the restaurant on the roof. Located close to the Roman Ampitheater, we stumbled on this place from a very persistent man handing fliers for a pizza place. We reluctantly went in, and were pointed toward the tiny elevator to the roof. Once we got up there, it looked like a pretty typical hostel roof with plastic seats and backpackers swigging beers. Then we saw them... BUNNIES and BABY TURTLES!!! It was basically an adult petting zoo where these little cuties run ... Read more

I've stayed at the Pasha quite a few times over the years, and can't recommend it highly enough. I most recently stayed there in October, and it's still great: really good value, plus the rooms have been spruced up a bit. What makes it really special though is Raymond and his crew - they're some of the most friendly and helpful people you're likely to come across anywhere in the world. The menagerie and the ability to get food and drinks on the roof are also a very welcome addition since my f... Read more

This is a great option for low budget. The rooms are big and clean. As the restaurant was filled with smoke we got to order the food up to our room and had a great time putting our table next to the window, enjoying the marvelous view of the theater and the delicious food. The main thing we miss is a small towel to use after handwash. The hotel only provide big towels for shower...

I think this hotel is good value for the price. My room was clean and the staff were friendly. The one negative was that the restaurant attached to the hotel was a great atmosphere to hang out in but the smoke made it very difficult to sit in there especially if I was eating. Other than that it was no real frills, decent location and good value for what I paid.

I was alone, solo traveler, woman. I had good and bad experience there. Let's start with bad one. I found this place by accident via tripadvisor. The owner of hotel made for me good deal (car and driver). so I changed my plan (to stay outside of down town and rent a car) and switched to his place. I didn't like the driver directly. We were completely different persons and to spend 12 full days...it felt very difficult for me. so I asked many times to change the driver. And Raymond, the owner, ... Read more

It is a simple but clean hotel with the most friendly staff, great food and amazing evening entertainment. It is located in the heart of Amman, close to the street market, walking distance from the ruins of Roman Amphitheater and the rainbow street, filled with many restaurants and bars for evening entertainment. The hotel has a rooftop seating place with amazing panoramic view of the city and a few rare inhabitants (rabbits, tortoises, wild birds) so be extra careful not to step on anyone. The ... Read more
