The rooms were ok, just normal and in the 3rd floor which was good as it is very loud from the traffic. Anyway you are directly in the center. The staff is lovely and very helpful. Breakfast is included and tours can be booked with the hotel. Our tip is to ask for the tour driver Jamil - he is a living history book and very trustworthy. He showed and told as a lot. We did a trip to Petra as well and that was great to be. The bazar is also very nice to see but don't forget to bargain. Kamel is on... Read more

I stayed here for 7 days/6 nights in a single room with shared bathroom on the third floor. I arrived just after 11am and was promptly checked in. Assistance was provided with getting my luggage to the room (no elevators). The room was very spacious and contained two single beds, a closet, a wardrobe with a full length mirror and a small chest of drawers (as well as the tv). AC worked well and kept the room cool despite the heat. My room was on the corner of the third floor and had windows on ei... Read more

It was an amazing experience @Chillax Cafe and @ Jordan Tower Hotel. A pleasant stay in Jordan Tower Hotel, Thanks for it. @Ibrahim Odeh Al Zedani : My best friend in Jordan !! Coolest and very friendly person. He will serve the best meal in front of you and you will for sure melt on it. His cafe was my second home to chill whole day while working. When you are in jordan, you must visit the cafe for Falafal and Chicken-Rice, Mansaf and many more special dishes. @Jehad Beidas: Very helpful pers... Read more

Awesome location right next to the Roman Theater / Old Citadel and in the City Center of Amman. Staff is helpful in answering questions. You get free breakfast with your stay. There's also a Chillax Cafe downstairs that's a good place to hang in between activities. Say hey to Ibrahim there who's a great guy. Rooms are just okay and bathrooms are shared. Otherwise, it's a great place for the price.

I took a taxi to The Jordan Tower Hotel from the airport and was dumbfounded when he drove up to this place. I couldn't believe my eyes. This place is not a hotel it is a backpacker's hostel, and a low-down one at that. I slept (or lay on the bed) in a dirty, dingy room that sat directly below the speaker from the next door Mosque! I was thrown out of my semi state of unconsciousness with the call for morning prayer roaring every twenty minutes. Bugs everywhere and eaten alive, I finally ga... Read more

Location is good (200 m from Roman Theater), very helpful staff (it looks like, Jelad is working 20 hours a day but he's always friendly), nice views from the rooftop, breakfast is ok. Shared bathrooms were cleaned several times a day. Every day they have at least one shared tour although myself, during my 5 night stay, could do only one shared tour. For another trip (Desert Castles) I was the only one but got a good deal after bargaining. Internet in the lobby only.

The location is perfect and near to the main sights. There's also chillax cafe on the ground floor if you feel like eating. The rooms are decent. The bathrooms are quite small and could be a little difficult if you are quite healthy. But all in all good place to stay with good breakfast. Mr.Jehad who takes care of the place was quite helpful.

Location of the Hostel is on a very busy street, my experience was even more tainted because it was Ramadan and streets keep busy until very late in the evening 1:30am, hence if you're a light sleeper, you'll find difficult to sleep because of the music of the shops down and the hectic honking of Amman streets. Rooms are clean, weird fitted sheet that will go off if u move too much. Staff is nice and helpful, breakfast is good, Hostel offers cheap meal options .

This was our first stop on our journey through Jordan. Our driver, Hani, recommended it and it was wonderful. We were right in the city of Amman, walking distance from the citadel and the amphitheater. We spent 10 days in Jordan and came back to the Jordan Tower at the end. I would also highly recommend our driver Hani. He helped us plan out our entire trip and was incredibly helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights in early July and it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the beds were comfy. I would have preferred a shower cubicle rather than a wet room and wifi in the rooms, rather than just in the lobby, but these are minor points. Overall this was a great base for our stay in Amman. Thanks!

Breakfast was very good, you can choose between different menus but you also get good hommos, Tea and cake. The guy from the reception was very helpful and courteous :) i forgot my headphones, so I just called them and they gave it back to me... My Tipp: use only the toilet in your room and the shower on the floor.

Great location in the city very friendly staff, free breakfast. Like others here have mentioned, they had a nicer room available so I got upgraded by default. The bathroom is spartan but functional and they have hot water. The traffic outside is noisy, so I recommend bringing earplugs. Parking would be difficult in their location. The beds were a bit narrow and short (I'm 6ft), but comfortable. Biggest complaint was the duvet smelled strongly of dead skin, so I just used the topsheet.

Great location in the heart of Amman and within walking distance to many restaurants and sites. The staff was so helpful! The airline lost my luggage and the staff helped me find places to shop for clothing and toiletries and followed up with the airlines for me on the status of my luggage. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and good. The rooms were basic, but very clean. Our wifi was spotty in the room, but we had a good signal in the lobby.

This hotel is really lovely, in a convenient area of the city right next to the Roman Theater. The view from the rooftop is also beautiful. The highlight of my stay here was the friendly staff, especially Jaymarie/Marie Pascual, I think her name was. The free breakfast came with plenty of options and was delicious - Marie provided great service and always kept the hotel very clean, as well as was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I would recommend this place to other travelers! - Coco

The hostel is in a good location right near the ampitheatre and not too far from the citadel. It is a cheaper hotel but the value seems about right. Friendly staff members and I enjoyed the breakfasts. The hotel also organised day trips to Petra and the Dead Sea.

Me and my 2 older co-workers went to Jordan for a week last Sept 11-17, 2016. We stayed in Jordan Tower Hotel and it was a good experience. The hotel fits our budget and is walking distance from some of the tourist attractions like the Roman Amphitheater, Citadel and Jordan Museum. It's relatively small however they were able to maximize the place. I met a lot of new friends. Wifi is okay. But it won't reach our rooms so we have to stay in the lobby to connect to wifi which is good too Coz you g... Read more

Great value for money hostel. The breakfast is very good and the staff is excellent. You can book trips from the front office, and if you want they can try to book a shared car. Only improvement point is the bathroom, which is very small. The toilet is in the same room as the shower and if you shower everything gets wet.

We stayed in the triple bed room at Jordan tower hotel for 2 nights. The location was the best. Hotel manager Mr Jihad was really helpful. The rest of the staff were also very helpful. The breakfast was good and substantial. Mr Jihad helped us to book a tour to Jerash and ajloun. On our last day in Jordan Mr Jihad was happy for us to leave our luggage at the hotel. Overall we had a good stay at the Jordan Tower hotel

I chose this hotel due to 2 main reasons. Firstly, its location in Downtown Ammanand secondly that I'd get to meet like-minded people for shared trips. The room is quite basic and dated, which shouldn't be a ptoblem if you tend to stay ouside sightseeing, only come back to sleep!

I stayed for three nights in the Jordan Tower Hotel. From this place you could easily visit the downtown sights, like the Citadel and the Roman Theatre. The guy in the reception is very helpfull to organize tours through Jordan. But it's easier to find some other visitors and just arrange the transportation. He told me that there was a guide included but unfortunately it was just the driver. The wifi at the hotel sucks. You don't have it in your room. It's just at the reception and it works very... Jordan has been one of my favourite destinations visited, especially the people I met there have been wonderful. It is a budget hostel but the smile & friendliness they will give you is priceless. Jehad at the reception really helped us out whenever we had any questions. The breakfast is great and you eat as much as you can. tea/coffee is 24/7. They have affordable day trips around amman, with friendly drivers. The location itself is great, hustle-bustle of the market, some really nice cafe's by... Read more

The service was excellent and the breakfast very good (also the food in the café downstairs was good). Our room was also nice and cleaned every day. Location right next to the roman theatre could not be better. There is a down side to it, because the hotel is located right in the middle of very busy road so it is loud in the rooms. We stayed here for two nights at the start of our trip, we hadn't prebooked and turned up at midnight and they were able to accommodate us. Rooms very basic, I had problems with the power outlets and the bathroom was cramped but this is reflected in the price, however there is a communal area and a terrace. The hotel is in a good location in downtown Amman and breakfast was included. They offer tours to sights in Jordan and the owner was able to help us organise a bus to Petra the next day.

Stayed here with a friend as we backpacked through Jordan. The hotel is closer to a hostel but I'd recommend staying here as it is convenient and central. We did a day trip organised by the hotel to the Dead Sea and it was fantastic and very affordable. A taxi also collected us from the airport and again it was very affordable and convenient. The location is perfect as we overlooked the Roman Theatre from our window. Breakfast was served each morning and although basic, it was very nice. I... Read more

The free breakfasts were really tastey, fresh, and healthy. They have water in the hotel to purchase if you need it. Just remember, running water isn't the best to drink so budget to buy a good amount of bottles. We had a wet bathroom in our room and it was everything we needed. Definitely recommend. If looking to meet other backpackers, mainly young, traveling through Amman and Jordan, this is quite a good option. Nice breakfast and spacious common area. The location is in the very centre of downtown Amman. The hostel also offers tours and trips to many places outside of Amman, but you can easily group with other guests and form your own routes. The facilities are not great, but okay in middle-eastern standards, and if you are here, maybe you are not troubled by that. The shower, for exam... Read more

First and foremost, this place is budget. That means it's old and in desperate need of a renovation. But - it's well located and they keep it clean, and the beds are comfy enough. So I'm giving the place 4 stars. Also - it had the best breakfast of all the budget hotels/hostels I stayed at in Jordan. I didn't know it at the time, but enjoy your hot brekkie as it will be your last if you are budgeting it across Jordan. Prepare for many hard boiled eggs and hummus during your holiday.
