Stayed only one night as i was on a bussiness trip. Furnitures, bathroom is quite old. The room is only 4*. Staff is good, friendly and helpfull. Express ironing is expensive ( one shirt 15 usd equivalent ). Breakfast is good, also you can have ur breakfast in terrace by the pool. I would just say hotel is average.

Every time you book a 5 star hotel you have certain expectations. No matter what country, no matter if it is a chain or a boutique. It's meant to be a guaranteed level of service, quality and facilities. This Bristol is a typical old Holiday-inn-kind-of-guesthouse where you don't find anything that surprises, attracts attention or stays in memory. Service was average. Rooms were cold, A/C didn't work on heating mode. Dining was poor. Old wooden furniture keeps a 15 years smell. Bathroom was sm... Read more

I was here with my friends for one night I like this hotel, great decorations. Also, it's close to the AMC . The stuff were friendly The room was great If you travel to Amman for therapy . This your hotel in the 6th square. Pros: great room for 3 person. Cons: little bit expensive rate.

It was a nice stay , the hotel was clean, the spa good, the swimming pool nice . The breakfast very simple and the food is over priced . If I will come back to Amman I will stay again there as the hotel has a good place . Internet was for free just in the lobby and the swimming pool , you have to pay 10 dinar = 17 usd per day if you want to have it in your room. The personal very polite and nice .

This hotel is near the 5th Circle, hence a bit far from the historic centre of Amman. The hotel itself is pretty basic and standard. The breakfast spread was not too bad. We stayed only for a night as a stopover point before moving onto the Dead Sea. I think I would choose another hotel closer to the city centre the next time I'm in Amman, because it takes close to 30 minutes by taxi to get to historical sites such as the Citadel.

This hotel is a medium sized hotel, that punches well above its weight. The staff are excellent and very helpful. For example our in room air conditioning tripped and after talking to he front desk, the maintenance guys were up within 20 minutes, fixed the probes and left all the time being very polite and friendly. The security at the hotel is excellent and the security presence is very strong but subtle. Wifi is strong and two types are offered free and paid. Free is good for most. But if you ... Read more

This hotel is far from being a five star hotel, and I booked it because it claims to be a five star hotel. Amman has a lot of other better hotels for the same price you will pay at this one! Don't go for it whatever it is ! Please don't! This hotel deserves to go down ! And I mean way down ! I am writing this not to seek an apology or any compensation ! I am writing this to ensure others do not fall victims for this bad hotel! Although, there were some good reviews about it on the websites (m... Read more

We stayed at Bristol for 2 nights.. having read the reviews we knew that we shouldn't expect a modern hotel. We liked the room as it was spacious and clean. We wanted to try the pool but were disappointed as it was pretty small, crowded and surrounded by cigarette and shisha smoke. Service can be improved as you need to ask more than once to receive your order.

Stayed at the Bristol Hotel in Amman, Jordan for three weeks in Aug 2016. It's an older hotel situated in the 5th circle closer to some of the other 5 star hotels in Amman. When it comes down to service, it doesn't have the 5 star touch. Except for few, other staff from the main restaurant and front office must be trained on customer service. Pool is just located outside the main restaurant which doesn't give the privacy to have a swim or chill by the poolside.

Staff were extremely friendly and courteous and room service was well within the time committed, and on 24-hour basis which is great for arrival and departure at irregular hours. Wake-up service worked like a charm. I was offered a choice for non-smoking room at checkin which was nice compared to bad experience I've had with other hotels that just chuck you into a smoking room without even letting you know until you get there and your non-smoking nose faces severe instant assault! My room (513)... Read more

I am a frequent visitor to Amman-Jordan, and have stayed in most of the 5* hotels. The other day, I have come across this hotel, and decided to try it for 1 night because it has a convenient location, and the price was moderate compared to other 5*. Frankly, this hotel is a real discovery for me. Very clean, reasonable room size, very attentive staff, and good breakfast with variety of entries. during my short stay, I was helped by a nice very friendly Liza at the reception, who went out of h... The Bristol in Amman, Jordan is a small, business hotel in the Fifth Circle area, with easy access to Shmeisani and Abdoun. I stayed for four days. The hotel arranged an airport pickup and drop off, which was very convenient. The rooms are standard, if not forgettable. I ordered room service most nights, which was fine on most nights but had one or two misses. Breakfast was a basic arabic and continental spread. We also used the conference rooms on the top level, which were adequate but dated.
