We stayed here for 5 days and found the location great. We caught a limousine bus from the airport which the hotel recommended and it was easy. We had two connecting rooms as we were travelling as a family and it was great to keep the door open so we all were together. The staff were very helpful and provided slippers for the children . We caught the train everywhere, so easy and convenient. The hotel is attached to a mall so there is always things to see and do. The amusement park across the r... Read more

Beautiful Hotel- comfortable room. Partake in the club level- the club room had delicious snacks and drinks! Covenant to a mall with the Hard Rock Cafe, Starbucks, the Cup Noodles museum is a short walk and the fun park across the street was great!

The standout feature of YBHT for me was its location. Getting to the hotel from Haneda airport was a breeze - we took the airport limousine bus and that took less than an hour to deposit us at the hotel's doorsteps. The hotel is located in the Minato Mirai 21 waterfront area where Yokohama's giant ferris wheel sits. We had a room on the 23rd floor and we had an excellent view of the glittering lights of the wheel from our balcony. However, I think most floors would have an equally grand view of ... Read more

This is an excellent hotel. The location is very nice especially if you are attending a conference at the conference center 5 minutes walk away. There is a subway station and a mall conected to the building. Can not be more convenient. Breakfast was very nice and it was an experience to taste a traditional Japanese breakfast. The Frence restaurant at the hotel is superb. Stayed in an executive twin room with park view - flawless. Highly recommended.

Room 1026 was a corner room with one of the best views we've ever had. The price you pay is you don't have a balcony (most other rooms do) but the sacrifice of a balcony for the view was well worth it. The location was also superb; we walked almost everywhere right from the hotel--the art and port maritime museums, the Red Brick buildings, public transportation, a terrific shopping centre, etc. Breakfast was not the usual 5-star standard of international hotels (only one omelette station, no smo... Stayed a week whilst attending a conference. Had a lot of trouble figuring out which hotels were easiest to walk from- this one was really easy, only one easier would be the intercontinental (which is on site). International sized rooms which was pleasant surprise after hearing about tiny Japanese hotel rooms. Excellent service except for needing to queue for quite a while at check in time, but this just seems to be the Japanese national sport. They were happy to help with restaurant bookings ... Read more

The room and the public spaces were impeccable, the service was very friendly. The location is very convenient for the Pacifico Converence Center and Queen's Shopping center. We had a fantastic view of the illumnated ferris wheel, which we enjoyed in the evening from the small balcony.

Stayed for six nights in a Grand Corner Suite at the end of September. This was my first time staying here, and it was terrific. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was included in the Tosca Cafe (on the lobby level). My room was on the 13th floor, and had a full bathroom, and a half-bath in the hallway, two twin beds and a beautiful view of Yokohama Bay. Extremely clean, comfortable with excellent service. Let me give you one quick example of how great the service was: at one point d... Read more

Even if I try not to, I end up drawing comparisions with the nearby Royal Park & Intercontinental. I have stayed in all the three places multiple times, and even though I like Intercontinental more I have to admit that this (i.e the Yokohama Bay Hotel) is a better value for money. I dont eally have any reason for complain...except maybe that they should have more international cuisine...specially western, in their menu. If you are not a stickler for swimming pool, this is in my opinion a smarter... Read more
