The room that I got was big! It is just like the more typical western hotel with all the gadgetry of a Japanese bathroom. Full length mirror and a smaller decorative mirror. Two double beds. Great view of the bay and the nearby Cosmo World. Very near the Minato Mirai train station and nearby malls. The food in their restaurants is excellent...the most tender of steaks, the most beautiful presentations. Because I was attending a conference in the (very) nearby Pacifico Yokohama, this hot... Stayed for 2 nights in April 2016. Summary: Lovely hotel conveniently connected to a shopping centre and across the road from Cosmo World. We stayed on the 9th floor in the luxury corner King room overlooking Cosmo World with a view of the Ferris wheel as well as offices from building opposite. It was a wonderful view at night but I wished that we had asked for a room higher up as we could see the top of the roof of the shopping centre below which was not pleasant. Also, being so low meant you... Read more

Good hotel with a great view over Yokohama Bay. Staff were very helpful. I find that I have to deduct marks for any hotel that needs to charge ridiculous amounts to use their pool even though this has become the norm at many Japanese chains. When we did splurge (about $30 US per person) to go swimming, we were met with scorn by a group of old women who were health club members as opposed to staying guests. In any case, we only had 30 minutes to swim before we got kicked out for their water aerob... Read more

Usually eager to disdainfully pinpoint real or imaginary hospitality malfunctions I respectfully defer today to the Yokohama Tokyu Bay property. Hospitality elevated to art. Same excellent experience every day, every interaction: food, room, cleaning, concierge, everything. It takes a lot of time, money and dedication to achieve -and maintain-this kind of excellence. If you can afford USD250+ a day then this is the place. Rooms are spacious, the bay view is sublime, there are all kind of attract... Read more

As a starter, we came to this hotel as a family of 8 with 3 toddlers... The first time we walked into our rooms, we are so thrilled with the room sizes. Compared to other Japanese rooms, I'd say this is one of the biggest that we've been in to. And also, the front desk managed to give us 2 connecting rooms. The view from our rooms is also amazing. We can see the ferris wheel in the Yokohama Cosmo World right from our balcony. Service was also impeccable. The house keeper went back and forth... Read more

Bit difficult to find hotels w/ spacious yet convenient location, but this Tokyu hotel successfully provided both. Hotel is connected to Queens Shopping mall having variety of good restaurants and shops - which is excellent. Room was quite spacious, clean and modern, compared to nearby other 5 star hotels. Highly recommendable.

This is a five star plus hotel with impeccable service from the very top down to the wonderful lady who attended to our room...We were so delighted that we decided to stay two nights rather than just one...We had a large room with a wonderful view....a large flat screen TV and a bathroom that was as high tech as they get....A walk in shower that was spacious and a wonderful tub for my lady.....The toilet was equipped with a high tech bidet, automatic toilet seat lift and other options to suit yo... Great hotel and given high Japanese cost of everything at decent level it is not that expensive. Rooms are very spacious unlike many 3star hotels, bathrooms are separated into three areas: WC, shower and bathroom, which is nice and convenient for couples. Service is of highest quality even by Japanese standards, so you will be spoiled. Swimming pool & sauna are extra. There are couple of restaurants for breakfast or dinner, but Landmark Tower is very close where you'll be spoiled for choice of r... Read more

I was tempted to give average rate, then i decided for poor, because the price/night is not worth to pay for the quality I got. This hotel was booked for a business trip. I was happy because is a 5 stars and my expectation were high for this level. I had to change my mind starting from the checkin.. - checkin was one of the worse I had in my very frequent travels. it took approx. 30 mins because they did not find my reservation. They asked if i have the confirmation to make a copy. - hotel di... Read more

Very spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable beds and we love their "Rice Pillows". Hotel is close to malls with shops and eateries. There are plenty of restaurants inside the malls which open till late. Great view over the amusement park and appreciate the balcony where we could get some fresh air. You can access the Metro easily from hotel as it is all linked (hotel, mall, metro, etc.) The limousine bus from NRT takes you directly to the hotel. We requested a room on the higher floor and w... It is typical of many top Asian hotels, a pleasure to stay there. The room was large with a King bed with a large well appointed bathroom. You wanted for nothing. The staff were exceptional courteous and friendly. They ensure you have an umbrella if it looks like rain. The hotel is well situated for shopping, restaurants and the underground. It has the wow factor.

We stayed at a room with balcony and bay view. The room was clean, modern. The view from balcony was great that we've expected to see. The staffs were friendly, the breakfast was tasty and gorgeous. We'd like to stay again if there are any chances.

The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu is an attractive property located adjacent to the convention center. The rooms have lovely views and balconies, and the hotel is attached to an upscale mall, within which is a subway stop that will take you to Chinatown or Yokohama Station. Service was outstanding and our room was immaculate. The bathroom, with a large tub and walk-in shower, was virtually filled with towels and bath products. While the morning breakfast was pricey--around $30--the mall had severa... Read more

This hotel is unique! Beautifully furnished, luxurious and comfortable as location. Rooms overlook the Minato Mirai - explosion of lights. And there is always the opportunity to take a good price from somewhere as we. The staff is impeccable. We had a medical problem and although we did check out, we received full support from the manager. Very nice lady. thanks! Here is the bus stop to Haneda Airport - at the entrance of the hotel. Great hotel for budget money. I only paid 15000 yen to stay, but the quality and service of hotel was excellent 5 stars! The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and view from room was amazing. The great location directly connected to two big shopping centre and train stations. I will book this hotel again when I go to Yokohama.

We had a room with a wonderful view. The hotel is very easy to reach from Hanida Airport and the bus journey takes about an hour. I bought my bus ticket from the desk on the left hand side towards the exit from 'arrivals.' The bus stops just outside the terminal. Japanese buses/trains run to exact time and are very reliable. The hotel is of an excellent standard and the staff were helpful. The hotel has an underground access point into the shopping mall below ground. This was such a delight to d... Read more

This is a great hotel in Yokohama and THE perfect place to stay if you are going to a convention at the conference center in Yokohama!. Our room was American-sized, we had a balcony and a very large bathroom (yes, we upgraded, so I don't know what a typical sized room would be like). However, the service was impeccable (it is Japan, after all), there were several restaurants and - importantly, it is attached to a large shopping center with numerous restaurants which is then attached to anothe... Yokohama bay hotel offers priceless view from my assigned room. It was a paranormal view from the bay to the ferries wheel. The room and bathroom were luxurious and a balcony, if you want to indulge in the beautiful Yokohama. The location isn't close to the train station but for the view, I don't mind burning extra calories walking.

Ideal accomodation if you are in a business trip in Yokohama. Yokohama is not a very attractive place to see, since Tokyo is just half an hour by train, but should you choose to stay there, this is the place! we went for a conference at the Pacifico center, 2 minutes away from this hotel and we really enjoyed staying there as it has everything. The rooms are absolutely spatious and comfortable, there is bathtub and shower for all tastes and of course view of the yokohama bay. Amazing and relaxin... Read more

Lucky for me I had a business trip to Yokohama where my work put me up at the Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu otherwise I probably wouldn't have been able to afford to stay here. The view from my room was fantastic looking out in the bay! The hotel is situated on top of the Queens Mall area so there are plenty of convenient indoor shopping and dining possibilities within walking distance. The subway is also right there so traveling to Tokyo is a breeze. The staff and room upkeep were exemplary. I have ... Read more

Even if I try not to, I end up drawing comparisions with the nearby Royal Park & Intercontinental. I have stayed in all the three places multiple times, and even though I like Intercontinental more I have to admit that this (i.e the Yokohama Bay Hotel) is a better value for money. I dont eally have any reason for complain...except maybe that they should have more international cuisine...specially western, in their menu. If you are not a stickler for swimming pool, this is in my opinion a smarter... Read more

Stayed for six nights in a Grand Corner Suite at the end of September. This was my first time staying here, and it was terrific. The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was included in the Tosca Cafe (on the lobby level). My room was on the 13th floor, and had a full bathroom, and a half-bath in the hallway, two twin beds and a beautiful view of Yokohama Bay. Extremely clean, comfortable with excellent service. Stayed a week whilst attending a conference. Had a lot of trouble figuring out which hotels were easiest to walk from- this one was really easy, only one easier would be the intercontinental (which is on site). International sized rooms which was pleasant surprise after hearing about tiny Japanese hotel rooms. Excellent service except for needing to queue for quite a while at check in time, but this just seems to be the Japanese national sport. They were happy to help with restaurant bookings ... Read more
