not too fancy, but still modern and well run. good for business as well as for vacation. Part of the hotel is used as serviced apartments and part of it as a regular hotel. The facilities are basic (no gym for example), but the rooms are modern. Sound isolation between the rooms is not best but was not very disturbing as well. Free wifi but quite sloe. The hotel is located just next t a main road but I did not hear too much traffic from my room.

April is a crazy busy time to be in Japan and as we searched for a place to stay in Tokyo our choices were getting slimmer and slimmer. While we probably would have preferred to have been in Shinjuku or Shibuya, Hotel S Roppongi ended up being our choice. The lobby is warm and cozy and check in friendly and efficient (as with almost every hotel in Japan). We were in a standard double room, and typically for Tokyo it was small, without being ridiculous - although our friends’ room next door wa... Read more

Nice hotel in good location. Rooms are small but are very clean and everything in the room works well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Only improvement would be the concierge service. 1 month before our arrival we asked for some assistance to book restaurants during our stay. They were not willing to do this until we arrive in Tokyo by which time the restaurants we wanted were already full. Most hotels in Tokyo would accommodate advanced bookings of restaurants.

We stayed in a Special Deluxe-A room, which turned out to be quite cramped but we got used to it. Room was clean and despite having a window facing the main road, there was no problem with noise. Two annoying points: 1. Unlike our previous hotel, Roppongi S does not make restaurant reservations for you until you are checked-in. Which is a bummer if you are looking to dine in a place that is booked out weeks in advance and which you could only book directly with if you spoke Japanese. 2. We calle... Read more

We stayed five nights in a luxury room and two nights in the more expensive zen room. Both rooms were very spacious and comfortable with minibars full of complimentary drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Reception staff were very helpful, our first room was ready ahead of time and when we were changing rooms they had our luggage ready in the second room before we returned to check in. Both baths are comfortable, with little TV screens in the bathroom. The zen room also had tatami floors and th... Read more
