Affordable prices , with good transport location. Even you can walk to few places if you are fit enough. Rooms are small but one who would a need a hotel for just sleep can choose this for accessibility.

The hotel is located in a business district, with lots of restaurants and bars around, yet it is quiet enough during the nights not to bother your sleep. It is only a couple of blocks from the Shimbashi JR station (2 stops from Tokyo station), very central making it great to explore the city. The rooms are very small, hardly any room to walk. If you have a big suitcase it will probably take most of your walking space. There is no wardrobe, just 3 hangers on a rail on the wall. The shower is a... Read more

I've stayed at various Sunroute hotels in Japan but I think the Simbashi location is by far the best. The room is small but Japanese business hotel standard but it's fully functional with a mini fridge, hot water boiler, TV and a comfy double bed. The A/C was strong and controllable easily which is a plus in a Japanese business hotel. The best part was the strong and full water pressure from the tub which enable one to take really good showers. This probably will never happen in California due t... Read more

I visited Tokyo for business purpose, and stayed here for a night. It's location is great, few blocks away from train station and surrounding by many stores and restaurant. Hotel room is clean, staffs are friendly, helpful. There is staff who can speak English and Chinese. Breakfast is just ok, nothing special. In general, this is a good hotel for business purpose and short visit.

The location is perfect. This was my first visit to Japan and I decided to be in the middle of it all. I was able to walk to Tokyo Tower, visit temples, and jump on the JR line flawlessly. I used Google Maps quite a lot during my week stay in Tokyo. Sunroute's rooms are your typical small rooms, but so very comfortable and secure I was able to relax. My room although was not facing the Tokyo Tower, was still quite amazing. Tokyo Tower is visible when entering and exiting the elevator on th... Read more

Hotel Sunroute Shinbashi is a short  walk from Shinbashi station. This area is also near the Ginza / Tsukiji area. It's our first time to stay at the Shinbashi area and we like it a lot. There are many restaurants like ramen/ sushi/ izakaya places to choose from. A lot of locals I think frequent this area. The hotel room is small  but eveything is functional. Only thing I would like them to improve is maybe they can give extra pillows to guests. The Lawson is just downstairs for your convenie... Read more

Hotel Sunroute Shimbashi is a very serviceable choice near Shimbashi station. It's a good value as well, as many other nearby hotels are considerably more expensive. The rooms (I have stayed twice and had essentially the same room both times) are small, but have what you need. If you have very large luggage it may be hard to find the right place to open it and sort through your things. Beds were comfortable (sometimes beds in Japan can be very hard) and a god size for a good sized guy. Not ... Read more

I only stayed one night but really felt welcome by the front desk staff. The room was clean and although odd that the bathroom door was clear glass, for a solo traveler, it was fine. I had a nice view of the city from the 16th floor.

This was a great place to stay. It was about a 5 min brisk walk to the Station. The location isn't very great for eateries but we mainly went places and travelled. The room was very small but I believe that they all are, in Tokyo and the service by the manager was pretty ordinary. Overall this place is recommended if you intend on travelling everyday instead of staying in the hotel. Also ask for a view of the Tokyo Tower.
