The room had a great view of the Tokyo Skytree and the staff was very friendly. The staff was kind enough to help book an appointment at a spa in Ginza and they also gave me directions on how to get there. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was ok because it was surrounded by alleyways.

Hotel is just few steps away from Asakusabashi station and therefore one can travel easily. We stayed in a small but comfy room. We weren't really bothered by the size of the room as we spent most of our time outdoors anyway. As there were 3 of us(2adults 1 kid) we would appreciate if they had a king size bed but they didn't so we had to make do with the queen size. Not a problem though. The staff speak English so you will not have a problem communicating with them. Please note there is no break... Read more

We stayed here last year from 14th of may till 25th of may 2015. I was worried that it was going to be a bad choice. I couldn't have been more wrong. This place was absolutely fantastic. The staff was so nice. Bed was a little hard but after 1 night slept even better than at home. I felt like i was in the middle of tokyo and everything was super easy to locate with the metro. (For metro use download the offline metro app) The lawson supermarket was great to get a quick bite in the morning. Even ... Read more

‚??This was a great value in tokyo, so perhaps it should get 5 stars. I couldn't find another hotel of similar caliber that was at this price range. The room was clean and staff friendly, but the whole place felt a bit industrial for my liking. The bathroom smelled funky in the first room I got, which was switched soon thereafter.

Hotel conveniently located near the railway line "JR". Food places nearby and a local "lawson" the open side 24 hours (communicates internally with the hotel). The room is fine, bed is large (not less data). There are free laundry area (only soap is paid). The staff is super friendly and predisposed for help (they explained to us as going to or coming from somewhere, printed out free papers and let us leave the bags on the last day as we were going for a walk). Super recommended!

I stayed 2 nights to attend some meetings. Many backpackers but also business people stay here. Room had ok size bathroom for the western size people. Small kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Room has all the amenities I could think except iron and ironing board. Rooms are small but good and clean. Nearby area was surprisingly interesting with different kinds of small restaurants and night life. Front desk speaks English, Korean and Chinese. There is supermarket around the corner. Hote... The previous reviews of this hotel are accurate. The room I stayed in was on a higher floor and was clean, quiet and in good condition. The room was somewhat small, and it's not the type of room you'd want to spend all day in, but its size was perfectly expected given its location Tokyo. Overall this hotel is good value. There's a small laundry on the ground floor. Check-in staff are friendly and efficient. Very close to the subway station. Recommended.

We stayed at this hotel on two different occasions during our trip to Japan. The first was planned, the second time wasn‚??t. Both times, check in/check out were fast. The staff at the front desk was nice and helpful. We had rooms on the 14th and 9th floors. The rooms were cleaned. Both are on the smaller side (when compared to standard room in your typical US/European hotels). Other rooms at this hotel may be bigger. I have no idea. We didn‚??t have a lot of luggage so it wasn‚??t a pr... Read more

It's a straight shot from Narita Airport to Asakusabashi Station; we paid 1290 YEN each and never had to switch trains!!! Fantastic when travelling with luggage and less chances of getting lost --- plus, the hotel is less than a 5-minute-walk from the Asakusabashi metro station. Took us 10-15 minutes walk to Akihabara when we went exploring (just follow the train tracks). There are numerous western and Japanese fast food places, restaurants, groceries and convenience stores within the hotel's vi... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights in April and really enjoyed the convenience of this hotel. We would happily stay here again! PROS: - It's right across the street from a JR train station, which makes it really easy to travel all over Tokyo. This train station also has a subway line that goes directly to Haneda Airport, which was perfect for flying out of Haneda. - The area under the train tracks is lined with neat little restaurants, and it totally feels clean, safe, and not too touristy or crowded.... My friends and I got two rooms to share. The staff was wonderful in accommodating us, but the single bed rooms were a little tight for two people. Also, we had trouble finding it from Asakusabashi station. We were lucky enough to run into someone who had heard of it and was able to direct us. Pros: Hooked up to a convenience store, well priced, internet in rooms, in a quite neighborhood, wonderful showers, surrounded by restaurants and close to Akihabara (walking distance ~15 min) Cons: Rooms ... Travelled with my mother for a conference. The hotel was ideally located, using the train and metro from the airport, very short walk from two JR stations. As everyone says, do not expect a big hotel room, as it seems to be the norm in Japan, but it does not feel crowded if you do not bring lots of luggage and it was comfortable. They know how to take advantage of every available space. They provide with useful toiletries (at reception, free sachets of lotion and moisturizer and at the bathroom.... Read more

Really clean, and room was small (to be expected) but didn't feel claustrophobic! Comfortable bed too and the air con still ran when we took the card out which helped a lot! Friendly service and a really good location. The free wifi was also really good!

been on a road trip and every hotel so far has rock hard pillows and beds. This one has soft beds and memory foam pillows. And the room was under ¥10,000. There was a ¥1600 parking fee for my motorcycle. Really close to a lot of resturants and shops and the train system.

Mystays Asakusa-bashi is nothing fancy, and that's fine. It's designed as a low-budget hotel option, and it delivers beyond expectations. The rooms are very small - only about enough room to open the suitcase next to the double bed, but it is well put-together. There's a desk and small TV, and the bathroom is lovely. The shower has a moveable head, and in classic Japanese style, is very deep to facilitate double-use as a tall bath. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided, in beautiful t... Read more

Very close to JR exit although no signs so we had to ask for direction. You can hear the train from your room although it's not very annoying. Adjacent to a convenient store and several restaurants nearby. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Check in time is quite strict at 3PM, cannot check in earlier. Free laundromat but you need to buy the detergent. The room is small, TV is very small with less than 10 channels all Japanese. Bathroom is small but clean. The price is not cheap for such a sma... From the moment we got in the experience was less than mediocre. Thank goodness our stay was only $63. The front desk didn't acknowledge us when we walked in the door. The room had a bed that was almost the same as sleeping in the ground. My pillow felt like I just rolled up my sweatshirt under my head. Then when I needed to look up and print our boarding passes I saw that we could use PCs in the lobby. You can, for $1000 yen! That is outrageous! Even a hostel will let you do that for free. I wo... Very basic hotel with beautiful view to Tokyo Skytree. Good location near to Akihabara and Asakusa-bashi MRT station. Hotel was in a quiet area, with a Lawson store on the ground floor. Bathroom cleanliness could be improved, when we took a bath, some dirt and hair came pulping from the drainage to the bathroom floor. Not nice.

Strategically located very near the train/subway stations with lots of places to eat all around the area. The room is pretty and very clean and a view of the city is really wonderful. It's a bit pricey but i guess you need to pay more to get a clean and pretty accomodation.

Very strategic place :) and the hotel Is very clean. More than that the staff are very respectful. Even if the place is a tiny one, as most Japanese hotels, it's still a comfortable place. There are also a lot of great places to eat sorrow ding the place and super near the train station. :)

Small room but with everything you need. Free wifi was very good. Building layout where the corridors are actually open air is a surprising yet welcome feature. Location is pretty quiet but only a short walk away from the nearest train station.

We stayed 2 night, the hotel located just 2 minutes walk from west exit JR Asakusabashi Station. From Tokyo station take chuo line and stop at Akihabara and take train to Asakusbashi Great location and the room bigger 14 m2 if compare from mystays osaka conference centre. But mystays osaka conference more modern than here.
