Great location with a direct link to Shibuya station. About 10 mins walk to the Shibuya crossing, where there is plenty of shopping and food. Easy access to Haneda airport as a result. Breakfast is served at two cafes adjoining the hotel. I only ate at the Japanese one (the other served more Western style cuisine) and it was decent. The room is small as per all Tokyo business hotels, but nicely designed and enough for one person. All this at a reasonable price of USD 140.

I decided to choose this hotel because many reviews mention about direct access from train station. Yes, it has direct access but from JR train only. It very convenient when you travel from airport by NEX or travel to other place by JR train but so far from subway. The room is not so small (I stay in premium single room with my husband). They use amenities from Pola, the luxury cosmetic brand of Japan. The best thing here for me is the air purifier machine in room. You cannot know how many Japan... Read more

The location of the place is great - right at the JR station. Rooms are small but comfy. Food is good at one of the two restaurants you can choose. Stayed there the 3rd time now and it is highly recommended if you visit Tokyo and look for something at mid-range pricing in a great location.

We stayed here for 4 nights in December. The room is small like typical rooms in Tokyo, but the bathroom was actually bigger than I expected. With two big bags, there isn't much space to walk around. The room was very clean however. Service was good, and the breakfast included was great (we ate the Western bfast each day, but they do have a Japanese option). Be sure to show your Japan Rail Pass for 10% off. The hotel is attached to the station, so it's convenient. Be sure to take the NEW SOUTH e... Read more

Exit the gates at the New South Exit at Shibuya Station and you will see the entrance to the Mets Shibuya. Now that is convenient! At 175.00 per night, inclusive buffet breakfast, in the heart of Tokyo ,you can't beat it. Very good breakfast too. Room small but we had a double bed and could fit a large suitcase and two smaller ones and still maneuver around. Would like to have seen an in room safe.

This was our second time in Japan and we chose Hotel Mets Shibuya mainly for its location. It is right next to the Shibuya station (there are signs for it in the station; before you exit the station building) and there is an entrance/exit that takes you straight to the ticket machines. Room size is comparable to other Tokyo hotels of the same price range, and just as every Japanese hotel rooms it is immaculate. We experienced delay upon checking in as the hotel was really full and the cleaning t... Read more

I was staying there end of Aug 16 with my colleague. This hotel is soooo convenient and right at the new south exit in Shibuya station. 3 mins walk to here from Narita express stop in Shibuya. There are many electric sockets at least 6 inside the room so my colleagues and I can charge all the electronic equipments when we are back to room. Wifi works very well and breakfast was good

Although small room, it is located near the famous green train line called the "Yamanote Line" which circles the city. You can never get lost if you know this train line. Mets also very near the famous crossroads where "Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift" was made. Mets is also walking distance to all variety of restaurants. Not a bad hotel overall and central to everything.

Actually I've not stayed at this hotel yet. But according Chris Tarrant's railway journal, apparently this is the best hotel for the bullet train aficionados to stay. Because you get to see the bullet trains go in and out, and day and night thru the high rise window! I can't wait to stay here this coming year when I visit Tokyo! ???????????????

I ended up staying at this hotel because the hotel where I normally stay was sold out. This hotel was a great alternate. In many ways, it is typical of a Japanese business hotel. The rooms are clean and functional but small. The convenience cannot be overstated. The hotel is located in the Shibuya train station, which is connected to local rail lines, the Narita Express airport train, and the Tokyo subway. I took the Narita Express from the NRT Airport, and I did not even need to change tr... Read more

the room is quite small, but works for me since i'm traveling alone and don't spend much time in the hotel. the bed was comfortable, the bluetooth speaker was great??i spotify all night. i stayed on the highest floor, it has a great view of the city. on a clear night you can see tokyo tower. very accessible, right next to the train station and just 10mins walk to hachiko. there's also plenty of eateries around the area, so you'll never go hungry.
