Stayed in the Inter Continental Tokyo Bay and was satisfied given the purpose of my trip (business meetings). The staff were great, very helpful and accommodating. The room was of decent size and good selection of restaurants in the hotel. If I were on holiday, I probably won't have the location among the top of my list given the location as we are in a "quiet" part of town and I usually like to walk to places. It wasn't even easy for me to find a convenience store (like a 7/11) nearby which ... Read more

Hotel is located in more of a business district. We were prepared for long walks, so it didn't matter it was not so close to everything. We were travelling with a one year old boy. The baby bed was provided in the room as requested. We have stayed for 3 nights. The room was generous size with the view of Tokyo Tower and the Bay. Great tea/coffee facilities. Good blackout curtains. Beautiful bathroom with a bath tub and shower separately. Great amenities as always in IHG properties. Hotel staff we... Read more

So, we picked ANA Intercon and Tokyo Bay for our trip and missed out on Strings though it was the newest and most centrally located. Please just take the shuttle that runs regularly from Hamamasuchuo Bus Terminal instead of trying to access it via private railway like we did because signages aren't the clearest and we ended up entering the hotel from the side door. Generally pleasant experience, large rooms for Japan's standards. Mattress was too soft for my liking but the view of Tokyo Bay wa... Read more

As we were unable to stay in another hotel for the full five days we'd allocated in Tokyo, we took the opportunity to stay here for a couple of nights and were not disappointed. The hotel is located in a quiet area, about 10 mins walk from Hamamatsucho train station (Japan Rail) ... which means for those tourists taking advantage of the Japan Rail pass, its fairly easy to get too. The hotel runs a shuttle service from the bus interchange at this train station, so you can easily plan your trips... Read more

I booked a stay over Christmas in this hotel for a friend and myself. It was our first visit to Tokyo and we only spoke a very little Japanese. Check-in was swift and efficient, with perfect English being spoken by the staff - much to our relief! The check-in service went beyond anything I've seen before. We were escorted to the lift by two members of staff and they ended up taking us to our separate rooms, showing how to work the air-conditioning and so on. I was pleased to see my room had ... Really wonderful hotel. Fantastic service from the staff. We were booked on a club floor and as I say the staff were great. The room was massive with duel views of Tokyo Bay and the Tokyo Tower centered in the other. Huge beds, could ask for more.

we had a great view of the bay and city from the twenty first floor, the club level is the most generous i have been to, the staff are fantastic from the cleaners, concierge, to the waiters all know great service and they do it so well. we would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone. train stations right next door very handy. only let down was the fitness centre it was only a couple of walking machines no weights pretty poor.

We arrived just before Christmas in Tokyo and the place was beautifully decorated. Check in was speedy, and staff was friendly. As part of the Ambassador program I was upgraded to a corner room with view of the City and partial view of the Rainbow Bridge. The room was spacious enough for a family of three, as I have a young child with me. A little disappointed, as my brother was also travelling with me was upgraded with a better and bigger room. But I guess you can't win them all. There's the ... Read more

I got used to this hotel and this is my third stay, while I visit Tokyo. As a Platinum Ambassador member, usually I get a very nice upgrade. This time was the same, but a bit lower (no massage chair, neither Nespresso Machine that I do love). Great neighborhood and atmosphere. Good shuttle service. Do recommend the hotel.

If you want to experience a less hectic high tech Tokyo, the Intercontinental Tokyo Bay is a perfect choice. On the newly developed New Pier Takeshibo, you can walk directly from the hotel to the pier and take a lovely walk through the tree filled park or just sit on a bench overlooking the inlet piers and the Rainbow bridge - especially peacefully beautiful at night. If you are looking for a walkable alternative to the overpriced hotel restaurants, the New Pier building has several restaurant... Read more
