I have to start by saying to rate this hotel as average is a little harsh, however my reasoning is simply they don't appear interested in feedback as I have stayed several times. Almost everything is very good and service is exceptional. Buffet breakfast is a joke for a 3 star hotel let alone a 5 star Intercon. Food and drinks are very expensive but I can live with that as it's 5 star and a global standard. I just can't get over paying how appalling the buffet breakfast still is. I only w... Read more

The hotel just next to Tokyo bay and the view from the room is very good. The hotel is also within walking distance from the famous Tokyo tower (old), during the night it is beautiful. The hotel also provides free bus to train station. However, the room is a little bit small compared to the price you paid. The location is a little bit isolated, you have to walk to the other side of the train station (15 min) to find good restaurants. But the hotel staff members are very friendly to help you in a... We stayed 7 nights at this hotel. It is at 10min walking from the Hamamatsucho JR station, and at 2 min from the Takeshiba station. Our room was very comfortable, and we received an upgrade because of my IHG spire elite status. We were at the 19th floor and the view to the bay was nice. Is is easy to go anywhere from the hotel, because of the JR railways located in Hamamatsucho (Yamanote and Keihintohoku); Besides Odaiba is really close to the hotel via Yurikamome line. We arrived on a Saturday night at late night. We drove from the airport to the city. Unfortunately signage was not very clear at the hotel and we spent a while to locate the car park. Moreover, there is no free parking at this hotel. It costs us like 2500 Yen just for parking overnight (we left at 10am the next day!) Check-in staff could speak English, but he was not being very courteous as nobody helped us with bags (something which we expected for a 5-star hotel like this!) Lobby is nicely de... Read more

Nice comfortable hotel with great view of Tokyo Bay. It provides free shuttle bus service to & from hotel to Hamamatsucho & Shinagawa station If the last pick up from Hamamatsucho station is later than 930pm would be great as its sheltered & much shorter walk to pick up location then Shinagawa station. Enjoy the stay so far.

This hotel has nice location and super views from the windows (I have been there many times during last 8 years). Minatoku district is not the down town, but very close to. Stayed here for 5 nights to see Tokyo after a 3 night stay at Tokyo Disneyland. The hotel is modern and clean, and most of the staff spoke a little English which was helpful. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. Only complaints, more of a business style hotel so a lot of business type people there and the lobby can get very crowded. This was absolutely eloquent with super friendly and helpful staff about a 10min walk to major stations, and they have shuttles if you don't like walking.. (In Tokyo be prepared to walk!). It was expensive though and did not include breakfast and we were told we also could not use the lounge on our floor 22nd, which was a bit of a shame given it was around NZ $400 night.
