This place is clean and a great place to stay. Nice pool outside but it's too cold for swimming in January so no one in it. Free wifi with room also. Breakfast was really good and a mix of Japanese and western food.

Will return, great staff and rooms a good size. Helpful staff, good food, supermarkets, coffee shops and cafes available with walking distance. Train lines within walking distance of hotel and walking areas along river banks easy to access.

We have been to Tokyo for so many times and would like to stay away from the vibrant suburbs like Shibuyu or Shinjuku and we decided to give this hotel a go. Check in was quick, staff were very friendly and professional. At one time while we took photos at the entrance, a staff from inside came out and took photos for us. What a service. We used this hotel as a base so that we went to Yokohama for a couple of days. Left the luggage at the reception and no problem at all. We were at different r... Read more

We layover at this hotel on our final night before departing Tokyo. Access is straightforward after getting off Toyocho station. Head for Exit 1 and once you are on the ground level , look out for the 100yen shop that should be visible from the traffic junction. Cross over to the side where the shop is and walk along the path. It should take you about 8-10 mins walk to reach the hotel. You will pass by two 7-11 convenience stores after which you will see the hotel on your left along with a offic... Read more

The hotel location was pretty good and there were shops that you can go to if you are hungry.Like they built an east21 hall for restaurants and shopping. The hotel is also quite good as the beds are very comfortable. The problem is that the location is a bit far from the more popular places like harajuku, shibuya and shinjuku that takes about 48 mins to reach there. However,it is close to tokyo disney resort and ginza.

We recently enjoyed a 4 night stay at Hotel East 21. The hotel has a good location in a quieter part of the city, and it's only a short walk to Toyocho metro station which allows easy access to the main sights and attractions of Tokyo. There is also a small shopping complex below the hotel which has a nice choice of cafes and restaurants. The hotel rooms are spacious and have excellent facilities and are kept extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice for people of all tastes, ... Read more

We stayed 3 nights at this Tokyo hotel at the end of November 2016. It is located in a "quieter" neighbourhood with lots of restaurants and smalls shops within walking distance. The room was much more spacious than we had anticipated after reading past reviews. We were able to use the Tokyo subway/rail system very easily and access to the station was a short walk from the hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is really beautiful and we got to stay on a high floor so the view is very nice. You can even see the Skytree from one side of the hotel. The bed was moderately hard but still comfortable. The best part is that you get to use Shiseido products in the bathroom. The only downside is that the gym/sauna is not included in the room rate.

We stayed at this hotel for a second time and we still like it. The hotel is clean and adequately roomy, the attendants are nice and polite, going out of their way to help. For some people, 7 min from a metro station maybe a deterrent but once we embraced it as an opportunity to exercise, to absorb the culture, it's better. Actually we grew fonder to the place, venturing more in the neighborhood area, many small restaurants and stores.

Our first hotel in Japan and we were not disappointed! It is comfortable and reasonably priced! It is slightly out the way from the busy Tokyo Station and Shibuya Station but don't worry, you can get there within 15 mins on the underground system. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from its local station, but this is fine....plenty of shops to keep you amuse on the way. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Rooms cleaned extremely well! Would definitely revisit!!
