Stay at this hotel for 7 nights. This is my 2nd time for this hotel (The last one was Jan 2013) - The location is convenient. Just 5 min walk from Asakusa station (Ginza line) and 7-10 min walk from Asakusa line. Easy access from Narita airport (Access Express train, about 60-70 min). - The staffs are very polite. Some of them may have limited English speaking skill. But they didn't have any bad intentions. If i'm not wrong there are staffs who can speak Thai and Chinese. - The room is grea... Read more

1 night stay at this property. Rooms and hallways were certainly a bit aged but otherwise it would be a small room as you would expect for a Japanese business hotel. Hotel is within 2-3 minutes walk of subway station so it is very convenient and also surrounded by a number of restaurants. Hotel also has a small hot spring on the top floor which is a good relieve after a long day of walking around town. Overall not a bad place to stay if you can grab a good rate.

We spent 6 days, 5 nights in Tokyo and the Dormy Inn served our needs perfectly. Yes the rooms are small but was enough space that we were not on top of each other as initially feared. We had a little sitting couch for TV watching in the evening. The foot foot bath at the top of the hotel was divine after many hours spent walking the city. There are two train lines that service this area - one giving you direct train ride to/from airport (roughly a 5 minute walk) the other needing a change of... Read more

this was not a fancy place so I struggled with the rating but the accommodations and location were wonderful!! Across the street from the subway and around the corner from the famous Market and Sensa ji Temple, you couldn't ask for a better location. We also had a room with a balcony right on the Sakura River so that was a huge plus. they hae a great free breakfast, which is a big deal to me as you definitely get your money's worth. The room and bathroom were small but immaculate and it had ... Read more

I stayed for 5 nights in this hotel and really enjoyed it. My room was comfortable and quiet and I had a lovely view of the river. The rooms have a kettle (and green tea), a TV with some international channels, and toiletries/essentials. The staff are lovely and helpful, breakfast is great (you have the choice of Western and Japanese) and there is tasty free ramen served in the little restaurant each night! There's also a great free footbath on the roof, so you can soak your weary feet with a vi... Read more

It was difficult making a pick with so many neighborhoods in Tokyo. So I settled on Dormy. From the airport we took the Skyliner to the Ueno station (@$24). From there we bought a Tokyo metro ticket for 150 yen to the Asakusa stop. We walked out and it's across the street! Super convenient. It was extremely easy to go anywhere in Tokyo from here as well. The room was super small (enough for 2!) but very cute and with a small balcony. A Western or a Japanese style breakfast is included. ... Read more

This hotel is near the Asakusa temple complex - my Japanese friends consider it like being in Williamsburg -- but I liked being near the Sumida River with the Sakura Park immediately adjacent to the hotel, and I appreciated the easy access to the Tokyo Subway system. Being a tourist, I was grateful for the tourist services in the area. The breakfast was very good. My room was small but manageable and very clean.

We stayed in Dormy Inn for 5 days, we had a great time and loved it. Tokyo is an amazing city. Location is great, closed to metro station and the Senso-ji was just few blocks away. The hotel is right behind Sumidagawa River and Sumida Park, I enjoyed my morning jog at 5 am and I enjoyed the silence and joy in this beautiful place. Few Bonuses I love about this hotel: free ramen as late-snack every evening, free SPA/ bathhouse and the lovely foot bath .. it was a great gift after a long walk/b... Read more

Room is more space with kitchen. Not so far from subway and Sensoji Temple. I got room view with Tokyo SkyTree. I'm recommend for request high floor room for good view and low light from park in night time. By the way, sometime you will hear car sound due to not far away from road and room not absorb sound enough. If you have time, may you try free foot spa and free ramen on night time.

Being a solo traveler in Japan for my 2nd time around Dormy Inn Express Asakusa was perfect for my needs whilst discovering more fantastic aspects of this amazing area of Tokyo. The Hotel itself was really handy just 5 min walk from Asakusa station (Ginza line) and 7-10 min walk from Asakusa line. Easy access from Narita airport (Access Express train, about 60-70 min) It is close to Senjoji Temple, the Sumida River, Sakura Park. I stayed for 4 nights and loved it there.
