I came to Osaka for congress and I chose this hotel for its affordable price and near the subway station Azawa. The room was small and nothing was special in it. Fortunately the breakfast was good and delicious. I really enjoyed having breakfast in this hotel.

I booked this hotel because it says onsen hotel. It was very cheap around 5000Y/night but was surprise to know that no bathroom in my room, only toilet. Besides, the onsen time for women is very limited. We have to wait late at night for our time and in the morning we have to wake up early before men occupy the onsen. If you are ok with the onsen and timetable then new oriental is nice, it's located near Awaza station, breakfast is free and ok. Nice budget hotel.

Hotel to be avoided due to the total inefficency of the crew to the receptions unable ( or not willing ) to provide a printed boarding card, not willing to accept an envelope to be left in the mail box next day ( no cost for them ) , unable to book two taxis for the train station ( in the evening everything was OK but in the morning, 6 am, no taxi booked with serious problems to arrive on time to the airport.

Honestly some folk want 5 star for 2 star prices!...this hotel was a good cheap ideally located (subway awasa less than 2min walk). Bed was usual for Asian beds. Bathroom adequate and a good shower. Breakfast was yummy. Staff friendly and helpful although language barriers could present a problem. This is probably due to it being a locals hotel. The location was great subway on the door step which meant getting around osaka easy. I had no issues with bugs but then again dnt put you bags on the f... Read more

Small hotel well located with a spa. We booked a room with a double bed for the new year. But they gave a room with 2single bed. And they did not accept to transfer us once a double bed room was available. The worst is that this room was very dirty (lot of dust on the floor paper socks under the bed ). They even did not clean the room (no service at all) the 1st of January because "we woke up late"! And finally they tried to charge us on the phone that we did not use (even the wifi was locked...... We landed straight after a hectic and long flight, Osaka was our first destination in Japan, we were 2 adults and 2 kids, for us the room was very cramped(Just like all hotels in Japan). you hardly had place to stand. Once you kept your suitcase, you had to be on the Bed. Being on the high floor we felt shaky all day. If your trip is for tourism not the right area. Better pick some place close to the main lines. plus point- It does have a station close by. (JR Line applicable) kaiyu line not a... Read more
