A very well located hotel which is one of the newest in town. Modern rooms which are reasonably large for the standards in Japan. Service and quality of food was excellent. I recommend you try the bar on the lobby floor. Lots of complimentary water and it's connected to a very large mall. I would stay again. Only feedback is the concierge was understaffed during the vacation period. So call backs with confirmations were needed.

I stayed at the Intercontinental Osaka for a business trip in Osaka in August 2016. The hotel is very close to the Umeda train station with access to the subway lines throughout Osaka. The Umeda Station also has lots of shopping and restaurants to choose from so this hotel is conveniently located. I had breakfast at the hotel every day during my staff. The food was amazing! It can be expensive if buying direct so I recommend getting the breakfast as part of your hotel rate. It will be well... Read more

Stayed there for 2 nights at the end of our Kansai trip and had a wonderful experience there. The location is great for shopping and dining. About a 10-min walk from JR Osaka, and a bit more for the subway. And I suggest you follow the directions on the hotel website for access from the train station for your first visit as the station is huge and can be confusing. IC Osaka is at the far end of Grand Front Osaka. Check-in was smooth but nothing out of the ordinary for a 5* hotel. We had a... Read more

Amazing hotel with great service. Everything was top notch from the check-in, the room and restaurants. Great location as well. It was more expensive than similar class hotel in the rest of Japan but you can see why.

The Scalp Treatment of All that Spa in Intercontinental Osaka is excellent. This scalp service is not common in spa, but I wanted to find out more and I tried it on JAN 4, 8:30 pm. Although my booking was the last booking on that day, the receptionist was not tired and was very cheerful in handling my reservation. She spoke a few languages and made me feel like home. The therapist then showed me to the head treatment room, which was like a transformer. It had a chair and the washing facility... Read more

Even after our third visit this hotel still impresses and others pale in comparison. The Intercontinental excels on all levels, incredible location as part of the Grand Front complex with everything including shopping food and transportation connected, great contemporary design, amazing rooms, equipment, and facilities, and super efficient friendly staff, this hotel means for us trips to Japan always start here.

Intercontinental in Osaksa is perfectly situated at the Grand Front and within 10mins of the airport express bus terminal. The rooms were spacious and clean. Nice touch having a kimono robe. I stayed here for 5 nights during a business trip. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet of $37 USD is overpriced for the selection and quality of food. Since there weren't many hot breakfast options opened at the Grand Front in the morning, I ate there every morning. The staff however were very fri... Read more

Wow, the Intercontinental Osaka was really a world-class place. The nicest hotel we've ever stayed at? Perhaps! What we loved: * Upgraded to a deluxe corner room (really, the size of a suite) that overlooked all of Umeda. The room and view were stunningly beautiful! * Attention to detail everywhere. * Turn-down service with local candies and local ideas for things to do. * Drink coupons for IHG platinums. * Location - connected to a mall and Umeda train station. Walking distance to 100s of ... Read more

I only stayed at the Osaka Intercontinental for one night. However, I thought the room was absolutely stunning and comfortable, with an amazing view. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel and bar attract a chic clientele. The location was also terrific - easy to get to the subway and anywhere you need to go. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Just stayed at the Intercontinental at Osaka. What an amazing well presented modern hotel. Comfortable beds, a bathroom that you wish that you had at home, great staff with perfect english skills even though they are humble and say they only have a little. Actually speak better than most western people with english as their only langauge. A bar with views that are spectacular at night, but better get in early as it fills up at night. Very central location and only minutes from Osaka Station whic... Read more
