The main reason we booked this hotel was because of its good location, where you can get to a several main stations in 10 min walk. For rooms, newly furnished, and nice bathroom with modern clean facilities.

a little bit pricey but if you can effort it then this is the hotel I recommend. we had 2 rooms and they were on higher floor. the view was spectacular. we had 180 degree view. the rooms were big and the service was amazing. the only down side is that they don't have a bar for us the adults to enjoy a few drinks once the kids are in bed.

It's a very good hotel located in a good neighborhood. Spacious rooms , friendly and helpful staff . I would have rated them with five points if the water glasses on breakfast table wouldn't smell like dead fish every morning. It was the only negative point .

The hotel is at a quieter part of Umeda about 15 to 20 minutes walk from Osaka station. Shopping malls and restaurants are all within minutes' walk. Our room is big with a super king size bed and a large bath room, very comfortable indeed. View of the room is gorgeous. We did not opt for breakfast as we would like to sleep more. Tea and coffee is not proivided free which is quite uncommon. We bought our own so it really didn't matter. Travelling outside Osaka to the neighbouring area is ve... Read more

I booked this hotel on the basis that there was a pool as per pictures and hotel description on hotels.com and tripadvisor as I was travelling with my wife and two little girls (2 and 4 years old). However at the time of check in I was told that the fitness centre, which had the pool, was run by a totally different company and there was a charge to access it. Additionally no under 18s were allowed. The manager said she would resolve the issue, as I explained the reason why I had specifically b... Read more

The hotel looks grand and a tad dated European. Room was spacious but expected for the high price. Near the shopping areas hence was good. Downside: the service was not good as what I had usually experienced in other Japanese/international hotel. Wasn't allowed checkin when I arrived at 12pm and insisted that I check in at 3pm despite appeals for earlier checkin timing due to meetings scheduled. Last try at 2.45pm was also rejected and told that I have to pay a charge if I want earlier checkin. ... Read more

Booked to stay 8 nites at this hotel after reading the review in TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint & meet our expectation. Location of this hotel was perfect & close to many shopping Malls in Umeda like Grand Front, Osaka Station etc. Most important its close to subway & JR station which make Travelling a breeze. Bed & pillow is one of the best that make me fall a sleep so easily. I am still missing it after the stay. Room size is just right & not small in Japan standard. One area that need... Read more

The lobby is beautiful! The front desk is top notch and run very efficiently! They aim to please. We had a gorgeous corner room with a drop dead view. I really enjoyed just sitting there looking out the window at downtown Osaka! We opted for the breakfast and it was delicious. I enjoyed the art work in the hotel as well.

Pricing was fairly reasonable considering the room size. Location is excellent, short walk to the underground station. Lots of food around the area, and walking distance to the malls. The service was great as well, and there is a concierge which helps to make your bookings :)

The are around Umeda Station is perhaps the most convenient location for visitors to Osaka because it is the terminal of two major inter-city railroads and the city subway and because it is one of the two major entertainment and shopping districts. Hotel Hankyu International is on the more deluxe side of hotels in the district, within a ten-minute walk of the trains through the station arcades. Multi-lingual staff and large comfortable rooms, appropriate for business trips or sightseeing.

My family visited Osaka for the first time in Dec 2015 and decided to try out this hotel based on reviews on TripAdvisor. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious. We got high floor and the view is fantastic. Panoramic view of Osaka skyline including the rivers and bridges. The service is good. Wonderful experience. And there's very nice udon just 5 mins away. Look for Mennosho Tsurumaru Udon Hankyu Kappa Yokocho.

We spend 2 nights here in a smoking room (we don't smoke but hotel was full). Its not bad at all. Our room was on 32nd floor and we had great view of the city with Umeda station and Hep Five ferris wheel in view. Staffs was very nice, pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Room is very clean and you can tell, this hotel was once a very luxurious hotel with double door huge bathroom. Hotel lobby is on the second floor. Upclass hotel in the heart of Osaka with European style setting. Great hospitality during check in and person escort to the room. Bellboy patiently explained the various room functions which makes my stay easier. Room is very spacious and amazing view of the city. The most surprising fact is that all the movies in the video on demand are free of charge! Overall a good hotel for foreigners.

I found this hotel when my family asked me to find a good place to stay in Osaka. Actually,my family and I felt very comfortable at this hotel. First of all,it's located near Umeda Station and easy to access. The entrance was luxury and spacious. They offered us an impeccable room. It had a fabulous bathroom and spectacular view of the city at night. It cost about only $200 per person.I think it's very reasonable and I wouldn't hesitate to pay more. Stayed at the Hotel Hankyu International with my husband and 15 year old son. From the moment walked through the door the service was impeccable. We were personally escorted to our room, where the employee inspected the room to ensure everything was as it should be and to answer any questions that we had. We asked for an ice bucket, to which she returned immediately with. The room was huge with a sitting area overlooking Osaka and the river. The bathroom was huge as well, in white and grey ... Of all of the places we stayed during our trip to Japan, Hankyu International was our favourite. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. We were lucky to have a beautiful room that was very high up so the view was phenomenal. The hotel is one of the higher buildings in town so you can imagine how beautiful it looks at night. I chose to get married at this hotel and we held the Wedding reception as well for over 130 people. The facilities were great for the party and the ceremony! After all the festivities, we stayed in a Suite where we were greeted with Champagne and fruits! The staff took real good care of us and we were more than happy with the overall service! Since then we have stayed for our anniversary as well as having dinners in the hotel restaurants. Definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the Hotel Hankyu International for four nights, and overall it was a good experience, marred by quite a small yet important detail - PILLOWS. I'll start with the good: excellent location in the heart of Osaka, with restaurant and shopping options everywhere you turn and close to a couple of stations; great size rooms with big bathrooms and fabulous showers; outstanding views of Osaka. Of the two hotels I stayed in in Osaka, this is by far the best - well appointed, spacious and great service and reasonably luxurious. Location is also very good - 10 minutes from the bustling Umeda sentry area, but far away enough that it is not congested. A huge Loft store is just around the corner, and lots of nice little restaurants around. Highly recommended - I won't go anywhere else!

This hotel was nice enough, although we had a smoking room, which we must have booked by mistake (not the hotels fault) the room itself was fine but the corridors were really stunk.
