To start off, this hotel is definitely not ur cup of tea if you like want to be right smack at namba or dontoburi area. But i thoroughly enjoy my stay here cos of the quiet surroundings and its very near to the city hall. In the morning you will see people rushing to work cos its situated near many offices, you can take a walk to the river where it offers a more scenic side of osaka instead of all the busy shopping streets. In terms of accessibility, the hotel is just 3mins walk to the kitaham... Read more

Highly recommended Hotel Brighton Kitahama! Located at a business district, Hotel Brighton is not as noisy and crowded compared to the touristy areas. Subway station is only a block down and so easy to get around Osaka. The hotel is very clean with great amenities and modern decor. Front desk staffs are friendly and helpful. The cost is very reasonable too. I'm very pleased with my stay here.

Stayed here for 6 days in May and a great stay. Book in was a breeze and stayed in a room on the 9th floor. Lifts sign said there was a laundry room on floor 2, so used it after staying in Hong Kong for 4 days. Washing machine/dryer cost 300 yen for small load, 400 yen large load, washing machine powder automatically added, dryer is hot (but does not completly dry everthing) and takes a some time to complete cycle. hint we started at 9pm finished by 11:45pm. The room is more than comfortable, ple... Read more

Our first hotel we stayed at in Japan and as expected it is a bit small with the (hard) bed against the wall/window. Loving the modern interior design including the bathroom. Quiet area (maybe it was because we were there during the golden week/their public holiday) and 7/11 convenience store is just across the street which is easy for me to get my ¥100ish breakfast there. Quick c/in & c/out process, friendly & helpful staff, clean room. Laundry facility is available on site. There's only 1 tv... Read more

Fantastic service and staff at this hotel. Very modern and clean. Nice details and finishes to the room. I cannot fault this place. There is a convenience store across the street, and a great value and tasty lunchbox shop beside that also. Subway station 100m walk away. I suggest buying a Osaka Amazing Pass , this makes travelling the trains a breeze. Also entry to all the best tourists attractions. 2 stops down the subway line is the Dotombori night shopping and eating district. Don't miss thi... Read more

Unfortunately, I had high hopes for this quaint city hotel located in a residential suburban area. However, upon arrival my family of 9 was greeted with unamiable attitude by the managerial lady at the front desk. Although she speaks perfect english, her tone was unappreciated and definitely impolite. We booked our stay for 5 rooms total for two nights. To be completely honest, she dampered our high energy mood with her hostile like attitude. I will definitely hope that she reads this and unde... Read more

We were very impressed with the modern, sleek design of the room we had, and it was very new and clean. The hotel is a short walk away from 2 different subway stations, and is very quiet at night. Even though the hotel is not located in the heart of the entertainment district in Osaka, it was close enough, and for the price paid, we thought it was very good value. Service desk staff spoke excellent english and we would stay here again when visiting Osaka in the future.

Following the trip in Tokyo, we went to Osaka and stayed in Hotel Brighton City Osaka Kitahama for 2 nights. Not too far way from JR Osaka Station, only 40 mins will reach to hotel. It is located in a traditional CBD area but peaceful. A supermarket & 24 hours Convenient shop are nearby. Hotel itself with modern design of the hotel lobby and the room. The room size is fine for us with 2 big suitcase & backpack - I don't expect so much on the room size since it is Japan and act we spent whole d... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. The rooms were, compared to other Japanese hotelrooms, very spacious. It might be a little more expensive but it's worth it. The location is nice. It's a 15-20minutes walk to Dotonbori. So it's not too busy around. The staff were very nice and helpfull. We had some trouble with printing our boardingpasses and they did everything to help us. I would love to stay here again when in Osaka.

Stayed 3 nights recently in this hotel. Very convenient location to Kitahama station-which connects to all major railway stations. Also near to supermarket for ease i buying groceries-water, etc. Staff in the front desk were very helpful and understand english very well. The comfort room and shower were small but the features inside were comparable to 5 star hotels. Only drawback is that their TV only features Japanese channels, which practically the TV was never used for 3 days.

The hotel facility was immaculately clean and well kept. Location was just excellent for us considering our penchant for railway travel. The nearest station is merely a minute away by foot. It may be quite a distance, though, from Namba or Dotunburi ( the shopping center of Osaka), but it's just 3 rail stations away anyway or approximately 15 minutes by train. But other landmarks, such as the Osaka Palace, Kyoto Station, Public Library and others are just nearby. It's a half-way place for th... Read more

Hotel is the best I stayed at during two weeks in Japan. Double room was a decent size and huge by Japan's standards. Hotel is midway between Umeda in the north and Dotonbori in the south. About a 30 min walk each direction so be prepared to commute. Not a whole lot of activity in area the hotel is located. On the flip side, it's a 60 second walk to the subway and you can get anywhere in Osaka from here quickly!

From March 2 to March 5, 2016, my family stayed in Osaka and was checked-in at Hotel Brighton Osaka Kitahama. Hotel Brighton is more of a business hotel and is nestled in a quiet side street that I believe is surrounded by office buildings. Although there are many buildings around, the area is still bright and airy. Its location is quite ideal since there is a nearby train station (3-5min walk). It was just confusing when we first arrived there by train coming from Tokyo. You really have to ask... Read more

My partner and I stayed for 6 nights at this hotel. We had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and helpful and it's approximately a two minute walk from a train station and supermarket. The hotel is also located across from a 7/11 so very easy access to basic items and an ATM. Quite spacious for Japan, beautiful facility with water and toiletries restocked daily. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. No issues while staying in this hotel

Rooms slightly on the smaller side, but this is typical in Japan. Hotel is clean and modern. Location is five minute walk to subway which is convenient and across the road is a 7-11 and a Lawson. Reception were not flexible in giving a late checkout and initially did not want to assist in making a restaurant booking, but eventually helped to confirm a booking. Overall a decent business hotel for a short stay.

The hotel is situated in a quiet business district - so away from main attractions but it was a couple of minutes from Kitahama subway station which you could use to get to most of the sights. The standard room was modern, spotless and nicely appointed with a really nice bathroom. Location was excellent with the hotel just 1 min away from kitahama exit 5. There's a 7-eleven just opposite the hotel too. Staff could speak English fairly well and were very polite. Setting of the hotel was very business-like. The room was near and clean albeit slightly small. The downside for this hotel was the lack of other facilities (eg. Gym, sauna) which was acceptable for its price range. Breakfast was at 1200yen per person.

The hotel has a great location, great facilities and very accommodating staff. Rooms were beyond our expectation. They have larger rooms compared to a typical Japanese hotel. - 3mins walk from Kitahama station - In front of 7/11 - There is a grocery near Kitahama station - Decent restaurants near the hotel - Walkable from Dotonbori (20-30mins; if in case you missed the train operating hours) I would highly recommend this hotel! We are very satisfied with our stay here.

Nice and clean hotel in osaka. Kitahama is a few stations away from tenganchaya which is 3 stops away from namba. The hotel room is small but cozy and clean. There is a 7 eleven and Lawson convenience store in front of the hotel. It is also very accesible from the subway station. There are lots of restaurants in the area that serve food which are reasonably priced. Would definitely recomend this hotel if you are visiting osaka.

A very nice hotel located in a quiet, residential area. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location wasn't too bad. Depending on the trains you needed, the walk was between 2-10 minutes. Quick train rides to main spots like Dotonburi or Namba station, where you can catch the train to Kyoto and other surrounding cities. Supermarket, 7-Eleven, and a few other restaurants located in the immediate area.

Location is great, very close to the entrance of the subway. The room was not very comfortable for two people. Very little room to move. The two little beds have no space in between them. The bathroom was ok but we did not like the fact that it has a window into the room and the blinds were not properly covering it.
