Yes, the rooms are small as most reviewers have mentioned. If you have a large suitcase you will struggle to find the space to fully open it. Nevertheless, the room is clean and there is free wifi. The location is excellent, being very close to the train station and about 5-10 mins walk to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

There are a heap of hotels around Osaka station, and we chose this because it gave the best price/distance combination for our late arrival 1 night stay in May. Room furniture and fittings show signs of age, but everything was clean, and no hint of smoke. I've stayed in smaller rooms in Tokyo and London. Check in and out were fast and painless. Reception was able to recommend past-midnight eats (sushi) a 5 minute walk away. If you are taking the airport bus, make sure you get out at the 2nd st... Read more

This hotel is as costly as others nearby but its service and facility are clearly as good as others. Even worse, this hotel has serious security concern. This hotel cannot give you more than one key. I stayed this hotel with my wife and as I have to work during the day, we have to spend our time separately. When I came back to the hotel, my wife had not yet come back so that I had to ask the receptionist to open my room door. I told her my room number and my name, then she escorted me to ... Read more

This hotel came highly recommended by my tour agent. And I can understand why after staying there for 4 nights. While the triple room was small as expected of most Japan hotels (my luggage had to be put on the floor), the hotel acted as good base for all sightseeing and shopping. Located just abt 5 minutes from Osaka Station hotel, it was easy to travel to other places. To Universal Studios (universal city station), it was just abt 20 mins. To shopping haven Shinsaibashi and food street D... Read more

Good access from Osaka station. Located beside rail way so it's easy to keep the way. Also easy access from underground. Good staffs and service equipment like roundly machine. Wifi and minimum service of the Common business use hotel were prepared. Room size is standard Japanese city hotel size that means small. Also bath room is small. Restaurants are close along the rail way and those are Osaka taste and not expensive. Breakfast in the hotel is not bad standard quality. It depends on the da... Read more

This makes a good jumping off point for sightseeing and shopping. You can get to the hotel easily from the train station by cutting through a shopping center. And it is only a few metro stations away from a major shopping and night life area. It is also only a short walk from the airport bus. However, it can be hard to find once everything is closed down for the night and you have to walk around the shopping center. Also, the hotel has a name that is close to some other hotels in the area. My fr... Read more

This hotel is my first choice for Umeda hotel. It is only a road across JR Osaka Station. It is easy accessible by JR or other trains which enables you to move around other cities e.g. Kobe, Kyoto with ease. Although it is a business hotel, it offers all required amentities and services for budget guests.

A good reasonably price hotel that is next to the city subway and JR station. Despite some reviews mentioned about the room size, it is not for my family of 4. Children are 6 and 10. The stuff is helpful and that is norm in Japan. And all other standard questions such as Wifi, cleanliness, etc, are checked.

The Hearton Hotel near Osaka Station is a classic Japanese businessman hotel. By US standards, it is a 2 star room, tiny, hard single bed mattress and hard pillow, with a desk, TV, tea set, and pajamas in a space barely large enough to turn around. Wi-fi is free and I found the speed to be fine. The step-up bathroom is pre-formed plastic, has a deep tub with lots of hot water, small sink, and a toilet with a washaelet (spray cleaner for your rear-end [or front end, if a lady]). Amenities in... Read more

Room was very small and the noise from the fridge and aircon can be a nuisance for a good night sleep. Barely enough space to walk if you have a huge luggage. I had to turn on the radio and blend the music to down the noise from the fridge and aircon to have a better sleep the next 2 nights in Osaka.

just checking out after staying only one night couldnt dream of staying longer convenient location to public transit but after a very long day of travel and exploration this is not the place to come back to for an enjoyable evevning! It is Japan and one has always been warned of room sizes being small and thats fine but where the room is located and the amenities provided could make up the difference for lack of space, but not here! The room smells terrible! Smoke filled halls spill the stench i... Read more

This hotel has a great location where department stores, station, and food street are nearby. It is good for people who consider Osaka as a transfer to other places, like Kyoto, Kobe, Nara, etc. It's also good for family travelers since it provides coin laundry facilities. However, due to it's a business hotel, small room is predictable; but, for people who just take it as a place for showering and sleeping, I would say that it's good enough.

Hotel is located near the stop of the airport bus, and most importantly, very near the JR Osaka Central Station and subways. The restaurants near the place is also much affordable than the other restaurants in Umeda or Osaka.

It is walking distance (2-3minutes) from Osaka station. Universal Studios Japan is a mere 15-20minute ride. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is tasty and they gave discounts to kids. There is a department store nearby where you can buy things that you did not pack on your luggage. The room is clean and neat as expected.

This hotel was in a fantastic location. Very close to Osaka train station. Beds were hard but rooms were spacious. We had 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 teen kids. Our room was on the side with the train tracks so was noisy but the kids didn't hear them from the other side of the hall so I would recommend you request a room with city view rather than train track view. Lots of restaurants nearby also.

This hotel is very close to Osaka station. It was clean and well maintained. A semi double bed was fine, even for two six footers. The only downside was the tiny room - nowhere to put luggage. If you want a room to do nothing other than sleep in this hotel is fine.

Very nice hotel close to Osaka station - very convenient to those who continue their trip by train. Rooms are small as in every hotel that we stayed in Japan, but everything else is great. Very clean room and nice bathroom with all the accessories ( shiseido body soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, combs, q-tips and more) that you can imagine. Also as almost in every hotel in Japan the toilet bowl is equipped with bidet which we loved) They also provide kimonos/pajamas and slippers. We asked for higher... Read more

This hotel is located 5 mins from Umeda station. I took the limo bus from KIX and the bus stop is 2 blocks from the hotel. Just go across the street and down the block and it is on the corner. Nice rooms and staff. To get to the station, just head east thru a nice mini mall with a lot of restaurants and stores and cross the street and you are at Umeda station, where the loop line, subway and other train lines depart. The station has restaurants, shops and department stores. The room was sma... Read more

Modern hotel ideal for a short stay. Rooms very small - would suggest twin rather than double ( bed is not a double bed but twin room is larger). I thought I had experienced small rooms in Paris but this was small even by Paris standards!. However location is great, easy access to train, great selection of food in small mall beside hotel. Staff very friendly and breakfast was standard fare. We got limousine bus from airport. Despite some previous reviews, the bus is at stop no. 4 not 5 outside t... Read more
