Me and my family stayed for 2 nights. There are so many facilities in the hotel we can use. Breakfast is amazing especially we love Japanese section that provided raw fish, pickles, etc. Dinner is also good. We hope to come back and stay here again :)

Spa and beyond. Lovely setting. We enjoyed our trip very much. Hire a car to make the most of your time. We didn't see Mt Fuji (fog) but we heard the mountains singing which was fantastic. Look forwardto our next Visit.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed several days at this large resort hotel overlooking the ocean just outside of Odawara, Japan. A hotel shuttle-bus provides hourly trips to and from town, but it's easy to spend all day enjoying the facilities of the hotel. It has an excellent onsen-style bath (if it's your first time, read about the etiquette first), and a large sports complex for swimming, tennis and other sports. There is a nice hiking trail in the woods around the resort. Among other things, the ... Read more

We arrived at this hotel, a little sceptical, cause it was,'just a Hilton'. But as we drove in their free shuttle, picked up at Odawara station the views on the drive were just the beginning of our spectacular visit. Special mention here of their manager, Aziz....it's true....some individuals just make the company (in this case Hilton)....he left no stone unturned to make our visit a truly memorable one. Upgraded us, gave us lounge access, provided tips on how to use the onsen, pools, how to ... Read more

We were in a Japanese style western corner room..Wow....2 balconies and a corner window floor to ceiling to gaze over the sea and hills..tranquil or what ? The shuttle bus was the first thing we seen when we got off at the local station..Jusr as well as it is a 10 minute ride in the bus ...All uphill to a very friendly and modern hotel. Breakfast was ok..you would not go hungry...We would have fresh orange juice and a cereal.followed by bacon eggs of your choice sausage, and then some fresh frui... Read more

Had a meeting in the hope. Stayed for 2 nights. I think the rooms have been recently refurnished and are very comfortable and spacious. Mixed Japanese / Western style room. Free fast wifi. Great view of the ocean. Friendly staff. They have the traditional type of indoor and outdoor (small) onsen. They have a free shuttle to and from the Odawara JR station but only runs hourly.

My husband and I have been staying in this hotel at least twice a year for the last 4 years. Am always happy to stay here. Each and everyone of the staffs are very helpful and polite. Our gratitude goes especially to Mr. Kimura: staff and Gym and Pool. As always, this young man is always so friendly and very helpful.

My family and I, 11 of us in all, stayed at the Hilton Odawara Resort & Spa for 3 nights. We used it as our home base and took day trips to the Izu Peninsula, Mt. Fuji and Hakone. The location is a bit remote so it would be better suited to a stay-put type of vacation. The hotel staff was courteous and ready to help with all our requests. As Hilton Honors Gold members we received upgraded rooms and complimentary breakfast. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet wa... Read more

The view from our room was beautiful where you were able to see the countryside and Pacific Ocean. Most of all impressive was the service received by the staff and senior / mid-level managers. What hotel would have the Director of Human Resources and Manager of Food and Beverage out on the floor for breakfast and dinner to bring us water, tea, coffee and refills and remove used plates and spend time to see how our day went as well as what we had intended to do the next day. Also to learn wher... Read more

Great place to stay. The hotel is big and newly and tastefully renovated. The pool area has indoor and outdoor pools. There are tennis courts, pin-pong table, golf range - great place to come for the weekend and just have fun. The only issue are dining choices (2 of the restaurants are only open during the summer) so we were stuck with the lobby restaurant and buffet - the food was tasty, but for a long stay, it would be boring to eat the same food over and over again.

I requested offal or JIEME and got up because there was a smoker, so TA which has prepare a smoking room and is saved. Your room was wide and the view was also best. A meal was the buffet-style meal form, but Japanese food was little, so maybe the degree of satisfaction is low for senior citizen's Japanese food lover. A line had formed in an egg dish, and buffet-style meal of breakfast was in the state which has to depend to make me an omelet fairly. The taste was good.

I found this hotel because I am a Hilton Diamond member, and I was looking for places to stay within the hotel chain. We came here after three days in Tokyo, and this was perfect for relaxing between cities. It is a short Shinkansen ride (about a half hour) from Tokyo station, and it is completely different world - calm, quiet, lushly green. We loved our room, which was the western/Japanese suite: we have a daughter who loves Japanese culture and she really enjoyed her own Japanese style separ... Read more

The stay was wonderful. This is my second time visiting the hotel. And I would definitely return. Awesome breakfast, great spa, and fantastic view from all the rooms. The only downside is that the breakfast selection remained the same for two days. Also, there was no diamond member upgrade. This is a great hotel; just know that you get no more or less than what you pay for.

We decided to stay at this hotel because of the water views and facilities and to have a bit of a break from crowded Japanese cities. This hotel hit the mark on these criteria, the views were nice, the facilities, (especially the sports and pool facilities), were outstanding. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were OK, smallish and aging a little, we got a non smoking room but could still smell cigarettes a bit. The location, while pretty, is 20 to 30 mins from odawara station and takes a bi... It's a good hotel to stay with family, where there are a big spa pool and my kids and parents enjoyed the pool. Christmas shops are beautiful and make us feel cozy and warm on the first floor. There's a trail outside, but I can't walk there because it was too cold, but it should be good in good weather. The room was clean and well made with comfortable beds. That's why I prefer Hilton hotels when going abroad. However, the buffet was not as good as a fame of Hilton. Assortment of food was not sa... Read more

Stayed in a cottage with extended family (2 storeys). Rooms were very nice and hotel is huge. It also offers a shuttle service to / from town at the train station. It is also a few stops by train from Hakone, where we did a day trip. The alternative option was to stay in Hakone, but compared to hotel there, this hotel offers a good deal. Great deal by taking advantage of promotions eg suite promotions on the hotel website. Good recognition of Hilton gold benefits, and breakfast was extensive. Hi... Read more

There's plenty to do with the family at this resort. It's been raining pretty steadily since we've been here but it hasn't been a problem for us with lots of activities to choose from. The pools and onsen are pretty nice. The room is large and very comfortable. The buffet restaurant is quite nice with a good range of food. The premium drinks deal is just slightly over priced I think. The service has been good as you'd expect in Japan. The reception staff helped us out nicely with a mix up we m... Read more

After having stayed in a hut on Mt Fuji the night before, we arrived at the hotel and knew we had made a good choice. The room overlooking the Pacific was fantastic, comfortable beds, large bathroom and nice amenities. An upgrade from sleeping on plywood in a used sleeping bag! Our only complaint was poor service in the lobby restaurant, where we had lunch, and the dining room, where we had the buffet. Just plain inattentive. The food at both was excellent! If in the area I would stay again.

Not more than 5 mins drive vua Hotel's courtesy bus, we checked in on a rainy night. The reception staff were so lovely. Although we had booked a cottage suite, which would be a few mins walk or a min drive via golf buggy our check-in staff offered us a western/Japanese room in the main building because it was raining. He showed us the cottage suite which had beds made up for our family and then showed us the Japanese/Western room which also had the beds made up for our family. He asked us to ch... Read more

Went to Japan for a wedding. Stayed at this hotel for three days. It was a great sleep. The onsen was good. The buffet meals were delicious and the service was top notch. The only down during our stay was check in. It only took us one hour to get to the hotel from Tokyo on the Shinkansen train, yet it took about the same time for check-in. The hotel person wanted to "sell up." We had a serious challenge understanding what he was saying. All this after a 14 hour long flight and 1 hour tr... Read more

Very unique facilities in a beautiful location. Right along the southern coast of Japan, the Hilton Odawara really has everything you could want out of a day or weekend trip out of the city. The hotel is about a 30-45 min drive to close by Hakone and Lake Ashii, as well as great food and onsen. All that being said the Hilton Odawara has made it so that it isn??t required that you leave their extensive grounds to have a good stay. My family recently had a re-visit of this hotel, and enjoyed the stay as expected. In fact, we do not exactly remember how many times we were with this hotel. With just 1+1/2 disappearance from daily routine life, you have hotspur, nice tennis courts, golf course, SPA treatment, amusement pool, aqua-exercising class and sauna... all such things you'll do in resort hotel in the tropical island holiday. Instead of sunshine, you have quiet nature and beautiful ocean scenery, which is such a value... Read more

If you want to relax from the exhausting time of the city, this is the perfect place to go. The location of this hotel is really beautiful and the view is awesome. The pool is lovely and very clean, and the room was nice too. No complaints about the reception staffs, but I think they need a bit more personal in the lounge and bowling/game center. The price at the lounge is a bit expensive and I think they need to add some more choices in the menu. But for sure this Hilton will be in my list of ... Read more
