Our Japan tour started with an overnight stay at Hilton Narita. If you had a few days on your own prior to the start of the tour, getting to the hotel would be the easiest if you take the free shuttle from Narita Aiport. Note that If you arrive after 9 pm at the hotel, nearly all of the restaurants in the hotel would be closing for the night. Even if they posted that they close at 10 pm, you have to be seated and ordering before 9:30 pm. The only other place that was still open had a bar and... Read more

1. CNN and BBC are solely in English only from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. The rest of the day Japanese voice-over makes watching not possible. No other English speaking news channels. 2. Check-out is 11 a.m. an extension (of even 1 hour) is 50% of room rate. Ridiculous, especially when arriving late. 3. Rooms are tired and need refreshing; particularly the bathrooms.

Have stayed at a few airport hotels and this is average to perhaps slightly above average (and clearly below the Bangkok airport hotel). Positives are ready approval of late checkout (3 pm for our 7 pm flight). Negatives are misinformation (told no Japanese baths at reception although web site says there is a bath with free access to Hilton Honors members), no free wifi (come on, in this day and age??? and you get free wifi if you are a Honors member but not if the hotel is booked through a t... The Hilton is a big hotel. There was a long wait to check in- about 20 minutes. The rooms are clean and probably big by Japanese standards. Which means small by American standards. The shower didn't maintain temperature, which is my only other real complaint. I also ate at the Japanese restaurant, which had excellent service.

Nice service, quick check in and check out. There were free bus from and to airport, narita station, aeon mall. We took the last bus from Aeon Mall and there were too many people to fit in 1 bus. The driver actively looking for another transport for the rest of us that didn't fit in, and we rode in a travel car to get back to the hotel. Room was clean, medium size, fully equipped with standard big hotel amenities.

Tried the noodles in room which costed 300 yen but it justified. Rushed to the free breakfast the next morning by 10am. Choices are all right - simple and enough. Very nice environment of the lounge restaurant area. Free Shuttle bus to airport is considerate but would be better if they provide also shuttle to premium outlet nearby... Read more

At the end of our two week visit to Japan, we decided to spend our last night at the airport hotel so that we could easily get to Narita Airport the day of our flight. The Hilton Narita Airport has a beautiful circular lobby which surrounds an outdoor pond and waterfall feature. The furnishings of the room were a little dated, but very clean and large. The non-embellished terry cloth robe was sized for smaller Asian bodies. The hairdryer was useless. It put out about as much heat as a candle.... Read more

My great experience with the hotel started when I accidentally booked the hotel on wrong dates using a non refundable rate. I was really worried, but after one email the staff managed to sort it out perfectly, much to my relief! The room and hotel facilities exceeded my expectations given how much we paid, and the pool and gym was nice. It was overall a great experience staying here before our morning flight out of Narita.

I wouldn't choose to stay here for any prolonged length of time, due to its location, but if you need somewhere to stay either before or after a flight, then here is a good choice. There is a bus that picks you up from the terminal and drops you at the hotel, but it did go via other places as well. This Hilton was okay for a 1 night stay, but it does not really offer much for longer stays. In my case, I was only there for 1 night. I should also point out that I am a HHonors Diamond member, so my review is based on this Hilton versus others worldwide: Pros: 1. Location to Narita airport is excellent - shuttle service was posted and was ontime. 2. Service was very good - very attentive staff. 3. Clean hotel - not modern - but clean. 4. I stayed here for one night to visit a friend in Tokyo. The hotel is not a destination hotel but convenient. The rooms are small, clean and comfortable, although wall hangings would be nice. The only negative was that the hotel shuttle from the airport in the afternoon is infrequent. The bus to Narita is convenient. No Executive Lounge.

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently. Very clean, polite staff, great shuttle service and some good restaurant options within the hotel. Shuttle runs to nearby Narita Station which has a wide range of restaurants and shopping options only ten minutes away. If you're catching the shuttle from Narita airport, you can catch the Excel bus also as its right next door. That gives a few more timing options, avoiding a wait.

Admittedly this is an airport hotel, but it is very dated. The rooms are small, thy smell very musty, and although non smoking, they smell as if they used to be smoking. It feel it hasn't been renovated since the eighties. The control for the AC is a knob in the night stand. I had free access to the Japanese bath. I wouldn't pay for it. Again small and dated. We chose this hotel as a convenient place for a rest in the middle of a long-haul flight between Rome and Brisbane. Early check-in (7:30am) and check-out (at 6pm) was no problem, as was the bus to and from the airport. Room was quiet and clean, staff friendly, and helpful. Our only complaint, given the cost of the suite for just under 12 hours, was no free internet in the room - either pay or go down to the lobby cafe. Not good enough!
