The hotel is very good and in a great location if you are travelling by train. Unfortunately the third bed was so uncomfortable that our son had hardly any sleep. We tried to tell them at the front desk but they did not seem to understand.

This is a nice and cozy hotel. One thing that impresses me a lot is that they always appoint an employee to show the guests to their room. That was really helpful, for sometimes it just takes quite some time to find everything you need in the room. Besides, they request employees to sign after they finish cleaning the room. It is not bad to know that someone is responsible for everything happens in the room when you are absent.

Stayed at the Hotel New Nagasaki from 22-24 December 2015. The hotel is located right next to the Nagasaki Station. Its stellar location is further boosted by a tram stop right in front, a department store right beside and many food and convenient stores right around. As we arrived before the check in time of 2pm, we left our luggage with the reception before going off to the Peace Park and Museum - which are only a few tram stops away. By the time we returned, our room on the 12th floor was ... Read more

The location is good, just next door to Nagasaki station and the tram stop is right in front of it so it's easy to get around. There is also a shopping mall next to the station. Room looked a bit old but it was spacious and clean so it didn't matter. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't let the name mislead you. This is not a new hotel. But it is conveniently located, and the rooms are decent. I had a quick breakfast but it appeared nice. Decent view from the top floor restaurant over the working harbour.

It was a great to finally get a large room after a few days' stay in the a rather tiny elsewhere in Kyushu. Though it wasn't modern in deco, it was very clean. This hotel was right next to the JR station and other local tram or bus. Hence, no hassle in lugging the bags around. Breakfast was served in the restaurant at the top which offered very good view of its surrounds.

Only stayed for 1 night in this wonderful city. Room was huge compared to others we have stayed in in Japan. Granted, decor could do with freshening up but had everything you could want. Clean and right next door to a lovely shopping mall and the JR station. Trams and buses also right outside the hotel. Staff were polite and helpful when it came to touristy questions. Only let down was the western style breakfast but this has been a recurring theme in all the Japanese hotels. All in all, would d... Read more

I booked the room with the Kyushu Tourism Board promotion which is a smoking room. However when I checked in the reception staff were kind enough to change the room to a non smoking room upon my request. The room is quite big by Japanese standard, well laid out and comfortable. The breakfast (which is part of the promotion) was a good spread of both Japanese and Western food. The location of the hotel is excellent as it is linked to the railway station. Very convenient for those who move around ... Read more

This is the clasic hotel with good lobby and larger rooms. Breakfast is on top floor with view all over town. There is largest shopping centre only 100 meters away. Plenty of restaurants. Really a hotel I recommend. NB: always book with breakfast. Food was great and you overlook town. Very family friendly. Tram is also passing by so its super simple to get around.

I stayed here with 3 other family members in two separate standard twin rooms. The rooms were super spacious and the location was über convenient. We were caught in the rain one evening and had to take shelter at the hotel lobby. The attentive staff saw that we only had small umbrellas and ran to the office to grab umbrellas for 4 of us. The breakfast spread was generous and the view from the restaurant was amazing. The staff at the restaurant were also very friendly and attentive. I definit... Read more
