Rooms are very clean here. I stayed here on 2 different occasions for my trip. Both times rooms were clean and staff are very friendly. 15 mins max walk to the local JR station (Inari) from there it's just 2 stops to Kyoto station( Main). Then you can get anywhere

Clean hotel. Great location. Great customer service(They understand and speak English well enough). What you get for the price is a bargain in my opinion. Kio mizu dera temple a sight to behold, is within the walking distance. There is a convenient store right across the street as well (Family Mart) for a late night snack :))

For the first visit to Japan, we spent all 4 nights at this hotel. It all because of the good price. It's very small, ok clean, and good staff service. To my surprise, the sought of bad location turned to be a positive point. As we almost end every night along tha Gamo River, the Keihan railway can take you to a station very close to the hotel.

Greeted as I arrived by very friendly staff - the single-bedded room was reasonably sized & very clean. Bathroom had all the essential toiletries included and was also very clean. Free quick Wi-Fi available. Very good location - about 5 mins walk from the Fukakusa Station (get the Keihan Main Line), 15 min walk to the Fushimi-Inari shrine entrance and plenty of shops nearby (a FamilyMart just across the road). Staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice and re... Read more

We each stayed in a single room and it was perfect for our needs. The rooms were OK in size and it was great to be able to open the window to let in some fresh air. Thhe airconditioner worked well. It was easy to catch the south 5 (minami 5) bus from Kyoto station - the bus stopped about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Get off the bus at the university stop (the Uni building is on the right of the bus) and then walk in the same direction that the bus continues to go, cross at the crosswalk, con... Read more

Rooms large and clean for Tokyo. Great breakfast with many nice baked goods and selections. Convenient to subway and bus travel. Onsen a nice amenity. On busy street, but quiet. Near Nijo Castle. Many places to eat nearby.

Cozy hotel in Kyoto, little bit far away like 10-15 minutes of walk from JR Inari Station (but there is also a pros - it's only 15 minutes of walk to famous Fushimi Inari Shrine which is next to station) and maybe 7 minutes from Keihan Railway station that can take you directly for example to the Gion - Geisha district . Size of the rooms is ok, staff friendly, at the reception you can buy a Kyoto bus/subway tickets and after check-in you will get a bottled water. There is a small bakery next to... Read more

It's a great hotel. Staff is extremely helpful but I found as I moved further from Tokyo, people spoke less English. The location is great. Get off the JR at Inari station. As you get out you are in front of the Inari shrine. Don't worry about seeing it at that moment with your back pack and everything. Go to the hotel. It's very close. The shrine is a mountain hike. You'll see folks with their suitcases visiting the shrine. Trust me you'll pass it twice a day. Ok facing the shrine go right. Whe... Read more

Generally good for value and near the station for easy access. The breakfast is okay but there is a nice bakery close by which serves some very yummy alternatives. I liked the surf shop as they had some very cool stuff and this is not far from the hotel at the back.

The attendant was super friendly at check in, the room was super small but I assumed it was normal, and the waiter at the hotel restaurant was hesitant to serve us and pretty rude because we're American so we left and ate elsewhere. Probably wouldn't stay there again.
