I stayed for 2 nite at this hotel. Booked for 2 rooms with connecting doors. The rooms are enough for 2 person, very clean on bedrooms and restroom. Restaurant is quite small, you need to come earlier if you wont to wait for longer time. Overall is good

This hotel is clean and has a great location (just next to Kyoto Station) and service. Among other points well worth being mentioned : The breakfast offered is excellent. There is free wi fi There is luggage storage free of charge in case you arrive earlier than your check in time or want to wander a little after your check out time. All in all, recommended.

The staff were very attentive and helpful. The hotel is located just a stone‚??s throw away from Kyoto‚??s Central Train and Bus Station, therefore, staying at this hotel means you will never get lost in Kyoto. During check-in, the Hotel Manager, Ms Yuko Sato and her front desk team briefed me all the necessary information about Kyoto‚??s tourist attractions and how to get there.

I stayed at the Ibis styles Kyoto station for 4 nights. It was a great base and so very convenient. As the name implies it is right infront of Kyoto station, I came down in the lift from the station and it was right across the road. Being so close to the station it was excellent for getting around by train or bus and there are innumerable dining options in the station. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Strategically located, right across the great Kyoto Station, this hotel is very easy to find. We had a nice room with a view to Kyoto Station. Room and bathroom were, again, spotlessly clean. Room size is very small, that it was hard for us to open our big suitcase. Bathroom was also very compact but functional. Bathroom amenities are standard for a budget hotel. Breakfast are also standard with a only a view varieties. I prefer to buy breakfast in Kyoto Station.

We booked 2 double rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were quiet, clean and more than adequate. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of offerings, western (pastries, fruit and cereal) as well as rice soup with toppings. The dining space was quite crowded and the first morning many of the guest were obnoxiously pushy. The staff tried their best to manage by clearing dishes and re-filling the buffet quickly. The location of the hotel was a huge plus as it is right across from the railroad station wh... Read more

Great place to stay. We booked a double room and two twin rooms, the twin rooms were bigger and better equipped. The rooms were well equipped, clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, with a large variety of international foods. Sometimes, breakfast was busy and there was a queue, however, the staff efficiently moved people in and out. The laundry room was handy, 300 yen for the washing machine and 100 yen for 30 minutes in the dryer. The mac... Read more

This hotel offer great room in very strategic location in front of Kyoto Station. It means you can ago anywhere in Japan. I've been here for 5 days, and this hotel can be my base camp to go around Japan,. In Kyoto Station you can get every kind of transportation from bus, local train, shinkansen to go whereever you want. Overall this hotel is great except for the breakfast that always offer same menus everyday

It is just located only across of Kyoto Station. The room is clean and the breakfast food taste is good. Another best part is, if your next Japan trip is Tokyo and will be staying at ibis hotel Shinjuku, you can have your baggage send to ibis hotel Shinjuku at a reasonable cost and you can travel baggage free.

We left early, cancelled the rest of our booking and were charged a cancellation fee despite our reservation that clearly said no fees for modification or cancellation. Travelling with a teen boy, having a hotel entrance directly opposite what looked like a brothel or similar girly joint for men (obvious men's sign like the ones at toilets, girly pics, ¥95 for 10 mins in Japanese) we have never stayed at a place more inappropriate for families with children old enough to figure out those signs...
